Our farm stands at the foot of Brzeźnica, the peak called Kozie Chrzeptami, and the chaps are nothing but ridges. You will not find goats with us, but we have horse ones. 25 years ago I found a home for them here, then I met my husband Krzysztof, and we created our marina on 25 hectares. The Sudeten Foreland stretches to the horizon closed by the Bardzkie Mountains and the Sowie Mountains. This sight every day strengthens our belief that we have chosen one of the most beautiful places on Earth to live. In spring they are drowning in the pink blossoms of cherry plums, and in winter they are covered with snow. I knew from the beginning that we would be inviting guests here. Share a cozy interior with a rustic atmosphere where hospitality is the highest good.
We are waiting for you here with the treasures and secrets of the lands: Kłodzka and Ząbkowicka. With underground routes, stories about Frankenstein, a gold mine, and so many more points marked on the map, it's hard to check them off in one visit. And you don't have to. The teachers of celebrating carefree and catching the inner balance will be horses, which value peace above all else. You can try riding them or just stare at them, because the sight never gets boring either.
At the foot of the Sudetes, 80 kilometers from Wrocław, lies Folwark Leszczynówka with a guesthouse and a stable for horses. The entire area is approximately 25 hectares. It houses our house, a guest house, a barn with a glass carriage house, four stable buildings and a hall with an indoor riding school. At your disposal are approximately 2 hectares with a garden and meadows. Our area is not fenced.
The guest house, with an independent entrance from the yard, consists of a common area downstairs and rooms in the attic (you have to take into account slopes). The rooms are of different sizes, but all have the same equipment, are cozy and decorated in a rustic atmosphere. We have a total of eight of them, they are for 2 and 3 people. Triple rooms have a separate entrance. We can accommodate 18 people, but extra beds are also possible. Details about the size and beds in each room can be found by expanding the "see all rooms" section.
All rooms are equipped with wardrobes, cabinets, tables, bedside lamps and TVs. Each room has a bathroom with a shower. We invite you to visit them with your pets.
On the ground floor there is a common space divided into two parts: a seating area and a dining area. The relaxation area consists of a fireplace lounge with sofas and armchairs and a music lounge where you can read while listening to music coming from the speakers - there is a library waiting for you there. There is a small children's corner next to it. The dining area consists of a kitchen where you can prepare your own meals and a dining room where you can eat them and where we serve breakfast to those interested.
There is a relaxation area waiting for you outside. In front of the house there is a covered shelter with tables and chairs. They are also in the garden. You will also find swings, a fireplace with a grill grate and a gas grill. There is also a zone with a dry sauna and a wooden hot tub. (Bathtub and sauna are available upon request for an additional fee). In the summer season, we set up a swimming pool in the garden. We hang hammocks and set up deck chairs around, completing our summer relaxation space.
We also invite you to horse riding for beginners and advanced riders. (Additionally paid service)
You will share the yard with us, the hosts. We're here if you need anything.
During your stay, we will be happy to prepare breakfast for you. We serve them in the form of a buffet. You can expect two different hot dishes (scrambled eggs, pancakes, pancakes, sausages, sausages) and: seasonal, fresh vegetables and fruits, several types of cold meats and yellow cheeses, blue cheeses, white cheese, eggs in the form of paste or served with mayonnaise, green leaves, pickled cucumbers and several types of bread (including toast). We also have jams, cereals and milk. We serve filter coffee and tea with the meal.
I prepare breakfasts myself and ask guests who do not order them to leave me free time in the kitchen from 8 to 9:00. If this is not possible, we will find a solution :) Outside of this one hour, the fully equipped kitchen is at your disposal. Right next to it is a bright and spacious dining room.
If you come to us in a larger group (min. 8 people), you will be able to order lunches.
You can prepare a barbecue and light a bonfire in the garden in the evening.
Our rustic-style interior and idyllic surroundings are conducive to relaxation. And the idyllic atmosphere is enhanced by flowers, which are everywhere. Inside and around the guesthouse, we have prepared spaces full of relaxation. You can sit down on comfortable sofas, at small tables, on armchairs, swings and deckchairs and spend time talking or reading. We have plenty of space and you can use it as much as you want, staring at flowers, trees and horses.
And when you are satisfied with the views, you can take advantage of the attractions waiting on the spot, including petting our animals and horse riding. We care for the well-being of our horses and do not overload their work, so let us know before your arrival if you are interested in this form of spending free time.
Our farm is an ideal starting point for exploring the Kłodzko Valley and the Ząbkowice Land. You can:
- Follow the green trail from Budzów - Kolonia to Brzeźnica, at the foot of which we are.
- Visit, also at night, the Srebrna Góra Fortress with its casemates, walk over the underground drawbridge and the largest moat in Poland.
- Climb 139 steps to the Leaning Tower in Ząbkowice Śląskie and visit Dr. Frankenstein's laboratory in the basement of the museum.
- Visit the Gold Mine in Złoty Stok, where it is possible to go underground by boat, pouring a gold bar and panning for gold.
- Pay a visit to Kłodzko and take a walk along the Underground Tourist Route that runs under the Old Town, visit the Kłodzko Fortress and walk along the corridor, which is 90 cm high in places, and fall into the miniature park, especially on the last weekend of June during the flower festival.
- Go rafting along the Bardo Gorge, where the Nysa Kłodzka resembles a river from the lowlands, not the mountains, so you can go rafting with just a few years old.
- Visit Silesian horses in historic stables near the Książ Castle in Wałbrzych.
- Get lost and find yourself in a 120-hectare park with garden terraces next to the palace of the Dutch princess Marianna of Orange and visit the palace itself too.
- Visit one of the spas for crenotherapy (you can choose from: Polanica-Zdrój, Lądek-Zdrój, Kudowa-Zdrój, Duszniki-Zdrój).
The area offers numerous bike routes (remember name: Singletrack Glacensis) and hiking trails. In winter, we are close to ski resorts and cross-country tracks.
What’s there for children?
Inside, a small play area with a table, a drawing board, books and board games awaits the youngest. But the real paradise begins outside, it is a holiday in the countryside, after all, and these are always unforgettable. The biggest attraction for young guests are our animals - cats sneaking around the grounds, dogs with whom you sometimes have to compete for a seat in an armchair, and horses. Children can try horseback riding with our instructor Edyta.
