Where will I stay?
300 m from the cleanest lake in Mazovia, in the buffer zone of a landscape park, in the Gostynin Lake District, where one of our cottages has a river all to itself!
We have two independent, separately standing cottages, immersed in natural greenery. Each of them has its own large area - 3,000 m2, a separate fireplace, hammocks and two bicycles. The cottages are located at a distance from each other and their terraces face opposite directions - the guests of each of them do not see each other.
PLACE 1 - HOUSE WITH A RIVER:
The main attraction of this Place is the river flowing right in front of the cottage (approx. 60 m from the terrace).
We have created a mini beach with white sand on its shore, with two armchairs and a table, so that you can watch the blue dragonflies flying just above the water from a comfortable perspective. We also provide deckchairs that you can bring from the house if you prefer a more horizontal position.
In the river, you can swim in the summer and swim in the winter. This is an attraction especially for children, because it is not very deep here (an adult is about waist-deep). Our beach is small and a bit wild in character. The Skrwa River is extremely clean, wild and beautiful - 3 km from us is the Natura 2000 Protected Landscape Area of the Skrwa River.
LOCATION 2 - HOUSE IN THE TREES:
If you would like to feel the atmosphere of a tree house, but do not necessarily want to climb, then Location 2 is for you. The house is as if immersed in the surrounding oak branches, which hang down almost to the ground in places.
Right next to the cottage, we have arranged a hammock surrounded by a garland of lights, which looks particularly magical at night. Many of our guests prefer the pleasure of lazing in hammocks among the trees to the attractions of the nearby lake or bike trips. In the evening, you can light a climatic fire in the fireplace or have a barbecue.

Each cottage is for 2-4 people - in the bedroom there is a large double bed, in the living room there is a comfortable double sofa bed. The cottages have a very similar layout - on 32 m2 we have arranged a bedroom, a living room with a kitchenette and a bathroom. Each of these rooms has direct access to the outside, and from the bedroom and living room to a large terrace.
In the summer season, you will probably be pleased with the air conditioning, and in the colder months of the year - underfloor heating.
In each cottage there is a lot of storage space: a chest of drawers, space for suitcases in the bedroom and a tall wardrobe with shelves in the living room.
We love upcycling, so in the interiors and on the premises you will find elements renovated by us - a floor lamp from the PRL era in the Miejscówka 1 cottage and a table lamp in the Miejscówka 2 cottage.
But Miejscówka! is located in the countryside, there is a lot of peace here, but we are not in the middle of nowhere, we have neighbors.
We love the nature around us, so we do not interfere with it too much. We focus on biodiversity - we mow rarely and only where necessary. There is no artificial cobblestone in the parking place and on the access road, instead we prefer trampled paths.
What about food?
For products, you can go to a local store 300 m from us, there are several of them within a radius of several kilometers. There is a table with chairs in the dining room, and you can also eat your meal on the terrace. Or have a picnic right by the river or in the trees.
In front of each house we have prepared a fireplace area with a bowl, which is also a great option for preparing food. We leave the wood for the fire next to the fireplace.
We checked local restaurants and can recommend Lucienianka, located 2 km away. However, there are more places to eat well in the area, so if you don't feel like cooking, you don't have to worry.
How to spend time?
List of small pleasures we recommend:
- drinking morning coffee in a comfortable armchair on the large terrace, which can be accessed directly from the bedroom,
- setting up a deckchair and blanket camp by the river (guests of the Miejscówka 1 cottage) - we have prepared a small beach there, which occupies the younger children, the older ones are usually drawn to the water,
- yoga on the platform or watching the water flow in the shade of the hawthorn (guests of the Miejscówka 1 cottage),
- hiding for a moment among our trees and grass and listening to your own thoughts,
- swinging in one of the hammocks, each of them is a separate place of peace, although they are close to each other, you can hide in them when the rest of the people are on the terrace, they are sheltered by bushes and trees.
- lighting a bonfire at the end of the day to enjoy time together.
And this is just the beginning, there are countless possibilities for forest and water time:
- we are in the Gostynin Lake District, within a radius of 25 km we have over 100 lakes, the closest ones are: Lake Białe (0.25 km), Lucieńskie (1.5 km) and Sumino (2.5 km),
- around the nearest Lake Białe, which has class I cleanliness, there are several beaches (the closest one is 800 m from us), many of them with water equipment rentals and even a beach bar (1 km from us),
- Lake Białe is also a body of water popular with divers,
- you can take forest baths without restrictions, and in autumn you can pick mushrooms and berries, because we are located in the buffer zone of the Gostynin-Włocławek Landscape Park, which covers approx. 400 km² of forests and close to the Gostynin-Włocławek Forests forest complex, one of the the largest forest complexes in Mazovia,
- There are numerous routes and bike paths through the forests and around the lakes,
- Less than a kilometre from us there is the Skrwa River backwater, and 3 km further on the Natura 2000 area of the Skrwa Lewa Valley begins, where cranes, white and grey herons, swans, wild geese and ducks have their habitats, which you can watch through binoculars (it is waiting for you at the cottage) and photograph at will,
- Less than 10 km from here is Gostynin with a restored castle surrounding the pond, you can also take a look at the historic town hall, arcades
- In Gostynin you can have dinner at the Bordoo pizzeria, where pizza is baked in the oven, we really like it and sometimes eat there,
- 10 km from us, in Nowy Dunin, there is a river port on the Vistula and a 19th-century palace and park complex with a renovated castle neo-Gothic,
- 20 km from us is Płock, where it is worth walking along the renovated boulevards of Tumski Hill on the Vistula, visiting the Cathedral Basilica, the Masovian Museum, going to the market square and walking down Tumska Street.
I know our region well, because this is where I come from, and I will be happy to share my knowledge of lesser-known attractions in the area. I will tell you where to go during mushroom picking season and where in the forest there is a hidden lake, which is covered with blooming water lilies all summer long.
Is it kid-friendly?
There are several beaches on the nearest Lake Białe, where you can rent water bikes, SUPs or kayaks and jump on a bomb from the pier. The nearby stud farms offer the opportunity to watch horses and try horse riding. And the forests surrounding us are full of nature trails. One of them starts 1.5 km from us and leads to the shore of Lake Lucieńskie.
For a nap, you can choose one of the hammocks. And in the evening, you can light a bonfire together. Roasting a sausage yourself is a lot of fun for children, especially if they go in search of poles first.
Can I work from here?
Is the internet fast? For us, the criterion of speed is the ability to watch movies on Netflix from a laptop :) they run here without any problems. Occasionally there is a breakdown in the area. The Internet also works outdoors, on hammocks and, of course, on the terrace, where you can work in comfortable armchairs in spring and summer. Each house has an external socket mounted on the facade, where you can connect a laptop power supply.

Cudowne miejsce! Spędziliśmy w domku kilka dni i jesteśmy absolutnie zachwyceni - jest przytulny i wyposażony we wszystko, o czym można pomyśleć – od pełnej kuchni po książki i sprzęt sportowy (rowery to strzał w dziesiątkę bo doskonałych terenów rowerowych w okolicy nie brakuje). Infrastruktura dookoła jest zaskakująco dobra. Jest gdzie zjeść, do sklepów nie jest zbyt daleko ale też nie ma centrów handlowych "na głowie", drogi są dobrej jakości i niezbyt ruchliwe. Plaż jest bardzo dużo - od kameralnych dzikich, poprzez prywatne mniejsze plaże, skończywszy na prawdziwych kombajnach atrakcji dla dzieci. Przestrzeń wokół domku pozwala na prawdziwy relaks: hamaki, leżaki, urokliwe światełka wieczorem i oczywiście miejsce na grilla. Gospodarze zadbali o każdy detal, a przygotowany przewodnik bardzo ułatwił nam zaplanowanie czasu. Z całego serca polecamy, my na pewno wrócimy! PS. Na działce są dwa domki co początkowo nas lekko niepokoiło ale w praktyce są one mocno odseparowane i oddalone od siebie. Przez blisko tydzień pobytu nie spotkaliśmy sąsiadów ani razu mimo, że wiemy, że byli w drugim domku.

Same plusy, zero minusów! Świetnie wyposażony domek, w kuchni było wszystko co potrzeba, dużo książek i gier a także atrakcji dla najmłodszych. Dostępne rowery i SUP zachęcają do aktywnego wypoczynku. Na ogromne wyróżnienie zasługuje przygotowany przewodnik z którego chętnie korzystaliśmy. Piękna przestrzeń wokół domku i odgłosy zwierząt zachwycały nas każdego dnia. Serdecznie polecamy!

Spędziliśmy tu trzy noce z żoną, naszą nowonarodzoną córką i psem, i była to jedna z najlepszych krótkich ucieczek od dawna. Pani Alina zasługuje na osobną pochwałę. Tak troskliwej i pomocnej obsługi nie spotkaliśmy od bardzo dawna. Wszystko zorganizowane, wszystko przemyślane, kontakt bez zarzutu. Domek jest świetnie wyposażony. Kuchnia ma wszystko, co jest potrzebne do gotowania i spokojnego rodzinnego pobytu. Koców i poduszek pod dostatkiem, więc wieczory przy kominku były bardzo przytulne. Mała sugestia na przyszłość: warto dorzucić więcej worków na śmieci oraz kapsułek do zmywarki. Były tylko dwie kapsułki, a przy trzydniowym pobycie z całą rodziną przydałoby się 3 do 5. To, co naprawdę wyróżnia to miejsce, to przestrzeń na zewnątrz. Ogromna, zielona działka otoczona drzewami, z mnóstwem zakątków do odpoczynku. Taras z parasolem i wygodnymi fotelami, hamak rozwieszony między drzewami (idealny na popołudniową drzemkę), leżaki, stół piknikowy w cieniu, mały stolik kawowy. Wieczorami girlandy świetlne tworzą bajkową atmosferę. Palenisko z trójnogiem to absolutny hit. Grillowaliśmy warzywa i kiełbaski, piekliśmy pianki. Klasyka, która zawsze działa. Tuż obok płynie spokojna rzeczka, więc spacery z psem i wózkiem były czystą przyjemnością. Dużo zieleni, ptaki, cisza, świeże powietrze. Dla naszej córeczki idealne pierwsze wyjazdowe doświadczenie, a Dante (nasz pies) czuł się tu jak u siebie. Polecamy z całego serca. Wrócimy.

Prześliczne miejsce. Starannie urządzony domek z wyposażeniem znacznie przekraczającym standardowe. Sprzęt sportowy (w tym dwa rowery), gry planszowe, książki i zabawki dla dzieci to tylko początek. Mnie ujęły pianki marshmallow i lornetka. Opisy tras rowerowych i pieszych. Na zewnątrz wygodne hamaki, grill, palenisko. I te cudowne światełka. Okolica zaś zachęca do eksplorowania, zwłaszcza jezior i lasów.

Przytulny domek i cieplutki, co ma znaczenie zimą. Wszystko pięknie przygotowane i przemyślane. Nawet mleko :) Światełka dodają uroku w zimowym mroku. Miłe prezenty walentynkowe były dla nas niespodzianką! Fajnie by było wrócić tu jeszcze latem.

Lovely home. Welcomes you right into the forest. Beautiful lights on to welcome. All the little details are provided. Winter tea ready to be made in a glass carafe. The house smells of no fragrance which I appreciate. The dishes is natural and scent free. There are towels and sheets provided along with throw blankets as it get cold in the winter. This is our second time staying and we will return.

Super miejscówka! Pozytywnie zaskoczyło nas miejsce, otoczenie oraz przygotowanie obiektu. Wiele rzeczy do dyspozycji : gry planszowe, badminton, zabawki dla dzieci, grill i miejsce na ognisko. Niczym nie musieliśmy się przejmować, wszystko było gotowe :)

Fantastyczna Miejscówka, której nazwa w ogóle nie mija się z prawdą! Urokliwe miejsce, dużo natury, cisza, spokój, leżaki, hamaki, prywatny dostęp do rzeki, miejsce na ognisko - idealne miejsce zarówno na pobyt z dziećmi, jak i we dwoje. Moi chłopcy są zachwyceni a Pani Gospodyni skradła ich serca zostawiając w domku pianki do upieczenia na ognisku :) domek jest świetnie wyposażony, ma wszystko, co potrzebne żeby ugotować obiad a do tego ma całkiem nieźle zaplecze do wieczornych aktywności - od buli, przez badmintona po zestaw gier planszowych. Od pierwszej godziny pokochaliśmy to miejsce ♥️

The entrance to the plot is opposite the cross, which stands at the intersection. There is a sign on the gate saying "Ale Miejscówka!". After entering, the first thing you will see is the Miejscówka2 cottage (with a blue elevation), and at the end of the internal road, the Miejscówka1 cottage. Each cottage has a separate parking space.

Bus: Klusek, (10 km), It is possible to get transport from the PKS bus station in Gosynin, just let us know in advance and our friend will take you there for a small fee.
Train: Gostynin, (10 km), There is a possibility of transport from the PKP train station in Gosynin, let us know in advance and our friend will take you for a small fee. And those more active who come by PKP with their own bike have a great route from the station, which leads largely through the forest.
