It's only an hour's drive from Vilnius to Krakawas, but we bet you have never heard of it before. The name may sound a bit like Poland's Capital of Culture, but that's pure coincidence: our place has nothing common with Krakow. Krakawas is just a small beautiful lake in Eastern Lithuania, which goes unnoticed by such celebrities as Asveja or Kertuojai lakes. However, low awareness in our case is an advantage, not a disadvantage. When you stay by Krakawas, you can enjoy your holiday with peace of mind: you may be disturbed only by a roe deer or a hare, or the emotional chirping of birds in the early morning. The everyday sounds of the city life can be completely forgotten here.

We want to share with you the peace and coziness this place has to offer. Pick up only the most essential items and come. Everything you need for a slow and pleasant holiday is already waiting for you.

We are where Utena County borders Vilnius County, where the land of Lithuanian lakes and forests begins, right next to Labanoras Regional Park. Žaugėdai, Peony, Krakow - here are three names that will help you determine the direction of travel. Search our south shore of the lake, we will send the exact coordinates after confirming your order.

Trees separate us from the country house, and the rest of the rest is not disturbed by anything. We have our own beach piece with a bar, a terrace with outdoor furniture and a hot tub. The cottage consists of a living, dining and sleeping area and a shower room. All windows offer a panoramic view of the lake. It is comfortable for two to relax, but if you come with two children, the sofa bed can be adapted for sleeping.

Bed linen and towels are provided.
We have a parking space and you can charge electric cars on site.
Pets are only allowed by prior arrangement and if guests accept any damages that may be due to their fault.
If there is a need, you can heat yourself by the fireplace, firewood is available on site (included in the price).

We will not offer breakfast, but if you like to cook, you will definitely have somewhere. The cottage has a kitchen ready for you with a stove, dishes and utensils; outside - barbecue with spit and firewood (no extra charge).

It is best to bring food with you - in the nearby neighborhood you will find only rural shops. The nearest places to taste local pizza or zeppelins are about twenty minutes away from Molėtai.

The harmony of nature, the lake, the fishing rod, the hot tub and the glass of wine by the fireplace - here is our recipe for relaxation. Simple but effective. A few days of escape to nature - and the balance is restored, the batteries are charged.

If you come for a holiday longer than a weekend, you will find many places for nature walks in the area. Within a radius of 10-20 kilometers around Žaugėda there are many educational trails, sculpture parks, mounds and just beautiful lakes to spend the day.

In the cottage we can accommodate a family with two small children. Extra beds on the pull-out sofa bed.

If you want to have fun with the children, pay attention to the little-known wildlife park Ažumiškė near Pabradė. Children will be impressed by bison and large herds of deer. Take apples and carrots to feed the animals (don’t forget to cut them into smaller pieces, especially for deer).
