When half of Poland migrates to the Baltic Sea during the summer holidays, the inhabitants of the Tri-City flee from the crowds to the lakes. And no, we do not have to go to Masuria to experience peace and fresh water. We invite you to our Kociewie, to Bożepola Królewski, located on Lake Krawusińskie. If you have already broken your tongue reading the names, now come to truly rest. No big plans, no expectation of the unexpected. Here you can rest from the city, watch the lake from above or up close. Drifting on SUP, welcomes the sun on the terrace, says goodbye to the day in the tub. Life revolves around a stone chimney with two fireplaces, in a forest full of mushrooms, by the water, with kids and pets.
The house is gray and blends with the surroundings, and inside it is golden and smelling of resin. We respect the natural environment very much, so instead of leveling the unevenness of the meadow, we put it on a wooden platform. There are basically two houses, but they are one and intended for a harmonious package. Everyday life takes place in the living area, evening talks and breakfast chats, while in the bedroom area nobody disturbs dreams. In addition to a comfortable space to relax, we also have a great playground for children, a tub, a vegetable garden (please water it), yoga mats and a lot of peace. Come for the panorama of Kociewie. We hope you will feel like you are in another world, the world of holidays.

My name is Michał, I live in the city every day, but whenever I have a moment, I return to the land of lakes. The decision to build a house was spontaneous. While visiting childhood friends, I went looking for land where I could build it. Just like that, I was dreaming. I found the plot quickly and just as quickly I built not one, but two houses. The idea was simple - one house would be a living area, the other a bedroom, and everything would be connected by a large terrace. We did almost 60% of the work ourselves, with the support of my dad and friends. I put a lot of effort into searching for local materials to keep the share of new wood to a minimum. I tried to make whatever I could using recycled boards that my dad had collected over the years. We made wooden furniture together with my dad or ordered it from local carpenters. Others, found in nearby warehouses, gained a new life. We constructed the chimney ourselves from field stone, covered the facade with wood and patinated it gray so that it would become part of the landscape as soon as possible. Selection key? Natural material, simple form and preferably handcrafted origin. Instead of a magnificent lakeside estate, we built two wooden houses in a unique location. Gray as if it had been raining for years, with a characteristic chimney made of field stone, they seem to be a natural part of the landscape.
