We live in Warmia, among hills, hills, forest. Nature, which especially at the moment of its greatest bloom captivates, calms and soothes. On board with us are: Dog, Cat and Lamb. We create a place where people and animals are approached with equal care.
You will find a large garden here: seemingly chaotic, full of places where you can get lost. Carefully composed according to the roundness of the terrain. It delights many of our regular guests. It is in it, on a few hectares of land right by the forest, that the house and cottage stand. With vegan cuisine, plant-based preserves and respect for nature. If you feel that you need space in your head, greenery under your feet and a boost of creativity, come. We will welcome you with open arms.
Welcome to Uliwersal.
We live here every day, just the two of us and our pets. We offer you a detached house for rent (all year round) or an attic, which is located in a larger house where we live. We invite you to the attic in the spring and summer season.
The house has:
- 140 m²,
- 6 beds (1 bedroom downstairs, open space upstairs),
- living room with a stove, kitchenette,
- bathroom with shower.
We rent it all year round and cordially invite you in the autumn and winter season. The house is heated by a stove, from autumn, and in case you feel cold, we add a heater. We can invite you with your pets to the house, which is a bit away from our house (if you know that they will be able to get along with ours, because we do not want to expose them to stress).
Attic:
- is 100 m²,
- is located above the space where we live,
- has 4 sleeping places (2 in the bedroom with a partition, 2 in the open bedroom with the living room),
- has its own terrace,
- has a modest bathroom with a shower,
- you will enter it by stairs that are located in the house, there is no separate entrance.
- the attic is not insulated, so we make it available from the end of April to the end of September/October, depending on weather conditions,
- does not have a kitchen, there is a fridge, electric kettle, countertop and basic dishes, we cook vegan breakfasts and dinners on additional request,
- we do not accept animals in the attic (sometimes only small dogs, if you are "sure" of them, we have a dog, a cat and a lamb...),
- we do not accept children under 10 in the attic, it is not safe enough for toddlers,
- the attic does not have an (external) place for a bonfire, this applies only to the cottage.
As for the equipment, it is rather modest and interesting. The attic is high and expansive.
In addition, we have a few hectares of land right next to the forest, where you will find a lot, a lot of space.
At Uliwersal you can eat like I do - vegan, healthy, aromatic. If you want, I will be happy to prepare meals for you. You can buy breakfast and dinner (one-course or two-course) or one meal. Apart from the fact that I am vegan, I can cook gluten-free for you because I cook for you myself
I follow such a diet.
If any of you have the displeasure ;) of having Hashimoto's disease, which I know is painful for the body and soul, I can prepare dedicated meals.
The house has a exclusive living room with a kitchenette, where you can cook your own meals. The equipment is rather basic, but enough to prepare simple meals. Please take into account that the equipment does not include dry products, such as spices or coffee and tea - you will have to bring a kitchen set with you.
The annex, which is located in the attic, is of a very small type. In fact, there are only the most necessary things there: a fridge, a kettle, a countertop, kitchen accessories, so don't expect to cook there. We recommend the catering option to those visiting our attic.
For some time now, I have been enjoying making preserves and syrups (sugar-free), I also dry herbs and make macerates. You will have the opportunity to purchase them from us. We sometimes also have honey available.
When someone asks us about the local attractions, we want to laugh a little. Our attraction is that you can hide away here. You really can't leave here for a week.
It is a perfect place to relax and explore nature. Seasoned walkers will find a paradise here (nearby there are forests, meadows and fields). Those of you who don't like activity can relax on the grass, lie down on a flatbread, or whatever flat you would like to create with yourself ;)
I could write a hundred thousand pretentious statements about the richness of nature and its benefits, but words will not express what you can see and feel here.
– There are two small lakes close to us, Szałstry and Gamerki Małe. So if you want to relax by the water, feel free to go there by bike (you can even reach Szałstry on foot).

– Cegielnia ART is a ceramics studio, an ecological farm and an agritourism farm in one. You can sometimes sign up for ceramic workshops here.
– A well-known attraction in Kawkowo is Lawendowe Pole, run by Asia. There you will visit not only a lavender field, but also the Lavender Living Museum, which is a kind of ethnographic educational stop. The museum and shop are open from May to October. And recently Asia also opened a bakery!
– For coffee and cake, visit the Kawkowo Gallery, where you can also see and buy works by local artists.
– The Węgajty Theater is also nearby. You can get there by bike from us (approx. 10 km). For a performance, for a workshop, for a meeting or for the Theater Village Festival.
– Have you heard about the Art in Bypass festival? It is an annual festival, which often takes place at the end of September, sometimes at the beginning of October, in Nowy Kawków, Szałstry, Pupki, Godki, Węgajty and Skolity. As the name suggests, art is viewed in the farmyard. The entire area turns into a rural gallery, and in addition to watching backyard and home exhibitions, you can go to handicraft workshops or a concert.
– We refer hedonists to our neighbors and friends from Nowy SPA in Nowy Kawków.
There, go for a massage, a sauna, or a bath in a chana (a traditional Ukrainian vat).
- Farther away from us, in Masuria ;) in Włodowo there is a Camp SPA, hidden in a birch forest, where you can also experience pleasure for the body and senses. Next door is Kwaśne Jabłko and the Niwa restaurant, where you can buy cider produced by the owners.

What’s there for children?
For children, we have a few hectares of grass where you can run until you drop, and lots and lots of closeness to nature.
We do not serve special entertainment for children here and we do not have a playground with a slide, but our guests do not expect it either. Most often we are visited by people who value simplicity, closeness and want to show their children the world of nature.
What’s there for employees?
If you wanted to work from this place, our wifi worked averagely, so we gave up on it, but if you happen to have mobile internet from Play, it works flawlessly and you will be able to work with it.
