We'll start from the end. From the beautiful eco wooden maringotka, which we named kiva. They settled it on the very hill of the eco-area in Horné Hámry, scented with wood and fresh mountain wind. It cannot be denied, it has its own style, but the green and blue colors testify to it the most. And to make it totally stylish, she added hygge and minimalism to the wood and colors. Simple, clean lines so that nothing distracts you while you relax. The main motto of our kiva is #relax.

And if we had to start from the beginning, we would sum it up to a two-year search for a plot of land, shopping for construction materials and wooden construction fairs, where we almost felt at home. But also into very imprecise (the world is amazed! ;) calculations, or exceptional sports discipline in the form of chasing tractor drivers across the field. In life, we would not say that we will learn so many things and discover new superpowers in ourselves :)

Anyway, the result is a kiva and you, our guests, who we are very much looking forward to. kiva is our favorite and we hope and at the same time believe that it will excite you too!

With the help of a tractor and its tractor driver, we placed our kiva cabin on the very top of the natural eco-area in the village of Horné Hámre. You will be on your own there, outside of civilization, but when you desperately want it, you will have it only half an hour from Banská Štiavnica.
we built the kiva on a hill, so you will be able to enjoy great views. And maybe animals and their bells will occasionally keep you company from behind the fence.

KIVA
Even though our kiva may seem small to you, we have solved its space in a truly Solomonic way (15 m2).
We made the most of the minimum, so here you will find:
- a living room with a comfortable, multifunctional sofa and a view of the surrounding nature, but also a dining/conference table
- the kitchen
- a bathroom in which you can take a warm shower, a small sink and an ecological, seperating, sawdust toilet
- bedroom - we have created an experience-like, loft-style bedroom for you with a large mattress and a window, which this time offers views from a different perspective

YEAR-ROUND STAY - WATER, ELECTRICITY & HEATING
No stress, we have connected our kiva to electricity and regularly add water to the tank. The capacity is enough for a short stay. And you can come here to slow down even in winter - that's when we use an electric convector with simple controls for heating. If that's not enough, our high-quality woolen blankets will keep you warm.

HYGGE
We won't hide it - we are fans of hygge. More precisely, well-being and satisfaction, a lifestyle with the aim of finding joy and a sense of happiness during ordinary days, enjoying life and the present moment.
This term is also associated with comfortable living, coziness and a warm atmosphere.
And that's exactly how we want you to feel with us. Cozy, without the feeling of being burdened with things, slow... We believe that kiva cabin is an environment in which you will feel "hygge" too.

The kitchen is fully equipped for full use and preparation of something delicious, so you won't go hungry.

In the bowels of our spacious kitchen, you will find, among other things, a double hotplate for cooking, a kettle, a refrigerator and (as usual) a coffee machine. Come on, make yourself a coffee and go sit on the terrace with it :)

Otherwise, in the area where our kiva stands, try to find the owner ;) and when you find him, ask if he has any good homemade products for sale, or if he can tell you where to go for a yard sale.

You already know our main and constant slogan, it plays directly: #zrelaxujsa. We always stick to that.

But if you were to be eaten to death, we will serve you a few tips:
- cycling routes around the area (e.g. cycle paths through the Kľakovská dolina)
- riding area for horse lovers in Horné Hámry (also for beginners)
- winter skiing in Salamandra resort (only 17 km from us) + possibility to rent equipment on site
- in the summer, don't miss swimming in the taichas
- walks, nature trails or hiking trails nearby, so pack your hiking boots
- Revište Castle
- pottery museum in the village of Brehy
