Who would you trust if you wanted to be recommended a romantic location for a stay for two? Sabina and Petr were apparently inspired by the paintings of Josef Mánes, one of the greatest representatives of Czech romanticism. He spent 20 years in the vicinity of Maringotka Za humny and created some of his best works.

Today's Moravia and its inhabitants are probably no longer an exact copy of the painting "Honeymoon on Hané", as immortalized by Mánes in 1849. But you can definitely experience the deep, amorous glances and carefreeness of the moment, which is reflected in the work, here.

You don't need as much in life as you think. And if you don't believe that 14 square meters is enough for two lovers, come and see for yourself in the picturesque village on the border between the flat Haná and the rocky Drahanská vrchovina.

Here you can, for example, search for the mysterious painting that Josef Mánes painted for Antonia Anna Sléhová from Polomí on your own. It was allegedly placed in a chapel near Sléh's estate (no. p. 15). But then he disappeared and has not been found to this day. But who knows, maybe the two of you will run into him during your wanderings around the neighborhood.

It turns green to the right, it turns green to the left, and at the same time you can still hear the cheerful chatter of the inhabitants of the small village. Enjoy the energy of the Czech countryside in the privacy of a beautifully renovated maringotka. You can run away from her at any time into the nearby forest.

Although it's hard to believe, everything we need for life fit in the maringotka. We supplemented the raised, spacious bed for two with a quality foam mattress. The seating area is dominated by a table made of centuries-old oak. Here you can read one of the books we have prepared for you in the library, listen to a gramophone record, or count the tree rings together. The seating area directly connects to the kitchen.

In the maringotka you will find running water (cold and warm), a shower and a toilet. The cosmetics are natural, from the hands of a Czech manufacturer. Towels and basic hygiene items are also prepared so that you can arrive as light as possible.

And so that you don't say that we are saving space for you, we have doubled the entire living area with the help of a covered wooden terrace with seating. In addition, you have at your disposal an entire well-kept garden with herbs, a vegetable bed and a place for barbecue.

Staying in Maringotka is great for couples who want to enjoy each other's company. And we will help you with that by saying that there is neither TV nor Wi-Fi. On the other hand, we have party games and tips for beautiful trips. So talk, plan, rest, hug, watch the night sky through the ceiling window right from your bed and draw energy from the surrounding forests.

So we definitely didn't skimp on the kitchen. We've equipped it with a two-burner gas stove and all the cookware you might need. There is also a refrigerator and a Nespresso coffee machine, so even coffee lovers will not be deprived of their favorite aroma.

Since the morning makes the day, we will be very happy to make it pleasant for you with our breakfast, which we will deliver to the door of the maringotka. We prefer farm-raised, local and seasonal foods, so our breakfast menu changes frequently. However, yogurts, granola, fresh bread, spreads, juice, milk and homemade eggs are the constants.

We recommend spending balmy summer evenings on the covered terrace or by the fire. A great grill is easy to use. You also have wood ready from us. You can grill vegetables and meat with fresh herbs.

When you come to us, you will find yourself in the valley of the northern tip of the Drahan Highlands. Natural beauty abounds here. For example, you can take a trip to the Kladecko Nature Park with an educational trail that leads around rocky ridges and through deep wooded valleys.

Visit the rare butterflies on the hillside near the limestone quarry called Na Kozénku. While wandering around, you might also come across an old water and reconstructed windmill.

The entire mountain massif of the Drahan Highlands attracts tourists and cyclists to wander. Let yourself be seduced by the blooming meadows and untouched nature. You can enjoy swimming in the Laškov and Litovel biotopes, or perhaps in the Nová Ves quarry.

In winter, you can also go skiing here. The nearest ski lift is located in Kladky.

Or just come together and enjoy each other. You don't even have to stick your nose out of the maringotka.
