You ask what you can do in Bielsko-Biała? I would say almost everything. The city overlooks the Silesian Beskids on one side and the Mały Beskids on the other. Hiking trails run along the peaks, skiers wave from the slopes, and it is not appropriate to go to Kozia Górka without a bicycle. You can easily make up for lost calories with a chocolate frog in Trzy Broom, langosz from Budafest or seasonal unusual soup in Blichowa Bistro. Bielsko-Biała is also the architecture of Little Vienna and the city of Reksio, Pampalini and other famous guys from the PRL animation studio. And the Beskid Base - as befits a real base - has all these attractions right next to it. And it will comfortably accommodate up to eight adventurous guests. So I would change your question a bit to a more accurate one: what to do here first?

Here Slowhop will describe your place

Krystian
I love mountains, water, outdoors and DIY. I am passionate about friendly architecture and cool interiors. When I need a break from sanding boards or building a fence, I sing with my friends in a vocal group. You will often meet me at the local, but not provincial, theater in Bielsko. I put three years of my life into the Beskid Base, wondering how to do it nicely, and then making these ideas come true. Apparently people like it. Come check it out for yourself. I will be very pleased to host you.

Baza Beskid is a beautifully restored house in the mountains in the Bielsko-Biała region. The house is bordered by a forest and a beautiful Wapienica river gorge. A short walk up the river will take you to the charming water dam of the same name, where you can decide what further destination to choose. swindler? Szyndzielnia? Or maybe Klimczok? After entering through the main door you will find yourself in the open living area. There is a kitchen, a living room with access to the terrace and the first bedroom. This bedroom has a double bed, a sofa bed and access to the bathroom. From the living area you can go down to the second bedroom with two single beds and a second bathroom, or go to the upper level where there will be a place to sleep up to six people. An additional two places to sleep are provided by a sofa bed in the living room. You can spend time together at home by the glass goat, on the terrace with a view of the mountains, in a roofed shed with a grill or by the pool. The whole plot is about 20 ares and is fully fenced (anticipating in the question - yes, you can come with a dog).

Here Slowhop will describe the sleeping arrangements. If you want, you can also fill it in or edit the text.

In the kitchen you will find all the equipment for more or less ambitious cooking: oven, hob, toaster and microwave. Simply throw dirty dishes into the dishwasher that makes life easier. Need extra hands to cut vegetables? As an extension of the countertop, use a long island separating the kitchen from the living room. The guests' experience shows that the island is also a nice place for evening conversations in a more intimate group. And if you don't want to cook while on vacation, wander around Bielsko-Biała in search of the places listed below. Of course, the city center is the most diverse, but also in the vicinity of Baza, culinary hedonists will discover something for themselves.

The word ‘base’ obliges. Wherever you go, you will find something interesting everywhere. However, if you need inspiration for a good start, here is my subjective list of experiences in Bielsko-Biała. #1 Hiking in the Silesian Beskids It would be a waste: living a minute from a hiking trail and not taking advantage of it. There are plenty of hiking options, even if you don’t have a car. An interesting all-day route (21 km to walk) starts in the Base, then leads along the yellow trail to Szyndzielnia. From Szyndzielnia, continue to Klimczok and follow the yellow signs to the shelter on Błatnia. In the shelter or a nearby restaurant (Ranczo Błatnia), allow yourself a longer break. It is also worth having lunch here, because you are more than halfway there! After lunch, jump on the blue trail, which will take you straight back to the Base. #2 Cycling on the Beskid singletracks The Bielsko enduro trails are considered to be some of the most interesting in Poland. There are a total of 15 prepared trails, with varying degrees of difficulty. Some require jumping skills, others simply effective turning and braking. If you don't want to take your own equipment or simply don't have a suitable bike, you can rent one (you can take care of the formalities online). #3 Sightseeing in a city, or even two Bielsko and Biała developed as separate cities for centuries, only to merge in 1951. Today, Bielsko-Biała is full of architectural and cultural delights, which are informed about by numerous historical plaques. It is worth taking a moment to walk through the old Evangelical cemetery, which now looks like a park. At the tombstones you will find biographies of extraordinary figures to whom the city owes its industrial and artistic past. #4 SUP-ing and swimming in Lakes Międzybrodzkie and Żywieckie Maybe it's not Masuria, but two lakes in Beskid Mały are a good destination for a trip on a hotter day. After riding just 23 km, you can get on a SUP and push yourself with a paddle towards adventure. Check out the summer events of the Banana school, where Dominika organizes SUP-ing with lights at night, greeting the full moon or sunrise on a board. #5 A trip for foodies Just type a query on the internet for a list of city restaurants to understand that you will really eat here. At Budafest lángosz you will get to know Hungarian cuisine from a truly outstanding side. At Trzy Miotły you will order creamy beer and steaming drinks taken straight from the world of Harry Potter. Also be sure to check out: Bar Pod Dębowcem, Palarnia kaw Grunt na Nowe Miasto, Cookies in Carmelowe and Cremino Bakery,   #6 Skiing and/or snowboarding In the near and far area there are many prepared winter trails. The nearest resort is the couch on Dębowiec. and a short distance from us are Szczyrk, Ustroń and Wisła. #7 Recreational areas around the Aleksandrowice aeroclub. The rollerblading loop around the airport attracts rollerskating enthusiasts from quite distant areas. A bit flat, a bit downhill, but what attracts most are the fantastic views. Yes, the closer ones, Szyndzielnia and the Magurka Wilkowicka range, but the real pleasure of rollerblading will be provided by Babia Góra towering in the distance, and on a clear day also the panorama of the High Tatras.

What’s there for children?

Bielsko-Biała is very child-friendly, starting with the food aspects (a huge selection of restaurants and children's menus for fussy eaters) and ending with various attractions. There are mountains, mountains and mountains again for active children. If you do not want to burn your enthusiasm on the ascent, you can use the cable car to Szyndzielnia and the rest of the route already in the higher parts of the Silesian Beskid. The shelter's hot chocolate will be a well-deserved pleasure. Young cyclists together with their parents can take advantage of the so-called singletracks, or mountain bike routes. Beginner routes are marked in green. Details can be found at endurotrails.pl For children less willing to go on excursions, I can recommend the toboggan run on the slopes of Dębowiec, the W Deche playground, inspired by ecological squares from Scandinavia, and the world-famous Banialuka Puppet Theater. Families also highly appreciate Energylandia, located just over an hour from the Base. Little (and bigger) wizards are always welcome in the magical Trzy Biotły cafe.

The large kitchen island can accommodate up to 6 people while working together. Right next to it, there is a 65' Smart TV on the wall, which is perfect for a presentation or weekly teleconference. In the living room you can choose to work on the sofa or armchair, and on sunny days lie down on the terrace with your laptop. The grill shelter will accommodate a team of colleagues eager for cooperation. The master bedroom has a cozy workspace for one person - a small desk and chair or a comfortable sofa, whatever you prefer.

How do I get there?

Our address: Łowiecka 122d, Bielsko-Biała, Silesian Beskid Mountains, Poland

The easiest way to enter Łowiecka is from the southern side, from the mountains. Reach the intersection of Dębowiec, Skarpowa and Łowiecka Streets. Drive down for about 500 m. Look for the white semi-detached house number 124 on the left. Here left (west) and last house on the left.

Baza Beskid je prostě báječná! Moc milý a nápomocný hostitel, nádherná chata a krásné okolí...

5

Baza Beskid to świetne miejsce.

Polecam!
