Baza Beskid

Baza Beskid is a beautifully restored house in the mountains in the Bielsko-Biała region. The house is bordered by a forest and a beautiful Wapienica river gorge. A short walk up the river will take you to the charming water dam of the same name, where you can decide what further destination to choose. swindler? Szyndzielnia? Or maybe Klimczok? After entering through the main door you will find yourself in the open living area. There is a kitchen, a living room with access to the terrace and the first bedroom. This bedroom has a double bed, a sofa bed and access to the bathroom. From the living area you can go down to the second bedroom with two single beds and a second bathroom, or go to the upper level where there will be a place to sleep up to six people. An additional two places to sleep are provided by a sofa bed in the living room. You can spend time together at home by the glass goat, on the terrace with a view of the mountains, in a roofed shed with a grill or by the pool. The whole plot is about 20 ares and is fully fenced (anticipating in the question - yes, you can come with a dog).

In the kitchen you will find all the equipment for more or less ambitious cooking: oven, hob, toaster and microwave. Simply throw dirty dishes into the dishwasher that makes life easier. Need extra hands to cut vegetables? As an extension of the countertop, use a long island separating the kitchen from the living room. The guests' experience shows that the island is also a nice place for evening conversations in a more intimate group. Of course, the city center is the most diverse, but also in the vicinity of Baza, culinary hedonists will discover something for themselves.

The word 'base' obliges. Wherever you go, you will find something interesting everywhere. However, if you need inspiration for a good start, here is my subjective list to experience in Bielsko-Biała. # 1 Hiking in the Silesian Beskids It would be a waste: to live a minute from the hiking trail and not use it. There are plenty of excursion options, even if you don't have a car. An interesting route for the whole day (21 km to go) starts at the Base, then leads along the yellow trail to Szyndzielnia. From Szyndzielnia, go further to Klimczok and then follow the yellow signs to the shelter in Błatnia. In a shelter or a nearby restaurant (Ranch Błatnia), allow yourself a longer break. It is also worth eating dinner here, because it's already over half the way behind you! After lunch, hop onto the blue trail which will lead you straight back to Base. # 2 Cycling in the Beskid singletracks Enduro trails in Bielsko are considered to be one of the most interesting in Poland. In total, there are as many as 15 groomed routes here, with varying degrees of difficulty. Some require jumping skills, others just need to be able to turn and brake effectively. If you do not want to take your equipment or simply do not have a suitable bike, it is possible to rent it (you can arrange the formalities online). # 3 Sightseeing a city or even two Bielsko and Biała developed as separate cities for centuries, only to merge in 1951. Today Bielsko-Biała is full of architectural and cultural tastes, which are informed by numerous historical boards. It is worth taking a moment to walk through the old Evangelical cemetery, which now looks like a park. Next to the tombstones, you will find biographies of extraordinary people to whom the city owes its industrial and artistic past. # 4 SUP and swimming in the Międzybrodzkie and Żywieckie Lakes It may not be Masuria, but two lakes in the Little Beskids are a good destination for a trip on a hotter day. After just 23 km, you can get on the SUP and push off with the paddle towards the adventure. In Budafest Langosz you will get to know Hungarian cuisine from an outstanding point of view. In Trzy Broomły you can order creamy beer and steaming drinks straight from the world of Harry Potter. The KaFFka cafe was created by Natalia (also known as Pani Kaffka), who dreamed of her own restaurant since she was 16. With the age of 30, it was the courage to set up such a place. And there is a smile, hot chocolate in a rose cup and craft beers. # 6 Skiing and / or snowboarding In the closer and more distant surroundings, there are many routes prepared in winter. The nearest center is the couch on Dębowiec. and a bit away from us is Szczyrk, Ustroń and Wisła. # 7 Recreational areas around the Aleksandrowice aeroclub. The inline skating loop around the airport attracts rollerskating enthusiasts from quite a distance. A bit flat, a bit downhill, but what attracts the most are the fantastic views. Yes, the closer ones, Szyndzielnia and the Magurka Wilkowicka range, but the real pleasure of rolling will be provided by the towering Babia Góra mountain in the distance, and on a clear day also the panorama of the High Tatras.
