This is not an apartment, just a studio. In my parents' seaside home, famous for their hospitality. It is intimate, has a terrace, access to the garden and opens up few possibilities for you. You can go to one ice cream parlor, one cafe or one of the two eateries in Wisełka. You have a half-hour walk through the forest to the beach, and the risk of meeting someone else is negligible. And we have a bit here like in the Hamptons, but more like in the Polish countryside, close to the sea, but behind the forest. Almost nothing happens. Come here for peace, because in Wisełka, like iodine, we draw it in gulps.
Studio pod Wielorybem is part of a house in Wisełka, where my parents have been living for 15 years during the summer months. Sometimes we spend our family time here, and sometimes parents rent rooms to their friends for this period. In a pandemic, my husband and I created a studio downstairs: a little for myself, a little for everyone who would like to rest here.
Live has:

- 1 bedroom with a double bed
- 1 sofa bed in the living room,
- own terrace with awning and sun loungers,
- access to the garden around the house
It is such a place for a vacation for a couple or a small family. The kids usually sleep on the couch in the living room.
I designed the apartment in a loft-seaside atmosphere by myself, because interiors are my passion. I worked at Elle Decoration for years, and now I run a second-hand shop: The Second Life Stuff. If you like aesthetic spaces, it will be nice for you here.
The house is situated on a hill and although there are also other houses around, we are really quiet here, because Wisełka is small. In 15 min. you can reach a nearby lake in 30 minutes. on the beach.
At your disposal is a basic equipped kitchen. You have 3 types of equipment for your coffee, there is a dishwasher and a hob. There is no microwave and oven.
We have a friendly restaurant here, Villa Park, whose food we recommend. It is located in a guesthouse nearby and although it is intended for their guests, if you say that you came from us, they will find a place for you and they will give you tasty food even when the room is full.
I love Wisełka because the number of attractions here is limited. Here you rely in the garden, go through the forest to the sea and spend time on the beach. You can also romp around the nearby meadows. Overall - indulge in a really unhurried seaside holiday. It is good to take a book to finish on a sun lounger in the garden and a bike to cycle around.
As for the slow list of attractions in the immediate vicinity, it would be worth including:
- Wolin National Park with its cliff coast, postglacial lakes and marshy islands in the Świna delta. Bison, seals and porpoises live there, and within one park you can see many different landscapes. Is beautifully!
- Golf with my dad, who will be happy to give you lessons on the golf course that my parents are co-owners of (just a stone's throw from us). You can go there, of course, also go golfing without Daddy.
- Relax in the SPA at our friends in Villa Park. Perhaps you are craving pleasures such as massage or peeling with algae: these little holiday luxuries will be waiting for you there.
- A visit to Kamień Pomorski with its spa in a historic building (2 km to the center). Plus organ and classical music concerts in the Kamień Cathedral and the Organ Festival.
- A ride to the past epochs by the Narrow-Gauge Seaside Railway. The cable car has been running on its route since 1896. You can travel on the Gryfice-Pogorzelica or Trzęsacz-Pogorzelica routes. You will have to drive to this attraction a bit, but it's worth checking out, especially with kids.
We have put up a playground in the kids' garden and some toys will be waiting for them. Our garden is fenced, so there is no problem to let the youngest go while you keep an eye on them while drinking a cup of coffee on the terrace.
Besides, it is known - here you go to the beaches to put sandwiches and splash in the sea, and you walk through the forest and this can be an adventure in itself. And if you would like to go golf with your children, my parents' field is open.
