What exactly does a sustainable home mean? One where guests weary of everyday life return to mental balance in just a few days? Where yoga is practiced on a terrace overlooking the water, and morning coffee is enjoyed in slippers down to the lake? Where a soothing balance exists between nature and architecture, and the interiors are as pleasing to the eye as the surroundings? Probably. But we had something more in mind.

We knew this much: nature is to reign supreme. The most we can do is embrace its virtues and try not to cause too much harm. We spent two years working on the project in the spirit of sustainable architecture. As architects, we were fortunate to leverage our experience and ideas to build a clever house on a slope. One that blends into the space without interfering with it, utilizing renewable energy sources, and surrounded by plants that had already thrived in the area. Moreover, we not only didn't want to take away from the surroundings—we intended to enrich them. We channeled inspiration from traditional Masurian architecture into a modern building modeled after it. And now we invite you here: to a refined house for your exclusive use, where you can relax with your favorite group. We have our own mooring pier, and the house is located on the Great Masurian Navigation Trail, so you can even bring your own boat. You'll swim in the lake, enjoy the spacious garden, fish from the pier, sleep comfortably, and go for long walks. And something tells us this is how you achieve holiday zen.

On Lake Ryńskie, in the heart of Masuria, we have created our home with direct lake access. This comfortable and refined house is yours for the exclusive use of your loved ones. A stay with us is for those who value peace, comfort, and privacy (it's just you), and prioritizes conscious, eco-friendly relaxation.

The house features:
– 4 double bedrooms, accommodating up to 8 people,
– a living room with a dining area,
– a well-equipped kitchen,
– terraces overlooking the lake,
– a large garden (the entire plot measures 3,300 m²),
– lake access and 2 private piers: one for mooring your own boat, and the other for fishing.

We offer a number of rooms depending on the number of guests, adjusting the price accordingly.

It is possible to rent all 4 bedrooms for fewer guests. In such a case, please book for the planned number of guests and let us know your preference.

We are architects, and we wanted the house we built here to draw on the natural assets of its surroundings. The Nature Home Rybical project was created in the spirit of sustainable architecture. Let us explain what this means to us:
- we assessed the natural resources of the plot and adapted the house's location accordingly: it lies on a slope, which we did not interfere with,
- the house is powered by renewable energy sources,
- we designed it to be energy-efficient, for example, large west-facing windows keep the interior bright longer,
- we recover rainwater, water the garden, and distribute it throughout the garden,
- we retained as many plants as possible; 60% of our plot is naturally active,
- we have a melliferous flower meadow, herbs, and fruit bushes,
- the plants we planted are those that will survive in their natural habitat because we conserve water,
- we left the section of the plot by the lake undeveloped – birds nest there.

We were inspired by Masurian architecture for this project. We created it with respect for local traditions, yet in the spirit of contemporary sustainable construction.

One more thing: recycling and water conservation are very important to us, so we ask you to carefully sort your waste.

You are renting the house only for yourselves, which means that you are responsible for your own cooking. Coffee and tea will be waiting for you in the kitchen. If you feel like having a tasty bite to eat outside, we have included some restaurant recommendations below.

We recommend Smaki Mazur in Ryn: a good bistro combined with a shop. And on Saturdays, you might like our Slowhop neighbours from Przechowali Marzeń (they are 20 km away), at a bazaar with local delicacies.

Have you ever heard of anyone being bored in Masuria? The best thing about Masuria is that relaxation can be so varied and diverse. You can choose to relax slowly, but you can also opt for activity. And the best way is to combine the two: a little laziness and a little movement. What you can do here:
- swim in the lake, fish on the pier, sunbathe in the grass,
- spend time on the terrace overlooking the water: read books, listen to podcasts, gaze into the distance,
- do yoga on the terrace (an unforgettable experience, we recommend it!),
- use our large garden,
- play board games in the evenings,
- do nothing in the hammock, watch birds,
- go SUP (stand-up paddleboarding),
- we have our own spa area, infrared and Finnish saunas, a relaxation room, and an indoor salt cave.
- we have a multi-purpose room for groups of up to 8 people: yoga, workshops, and mini-conferences (please inquire about use before arrival).

What you can do nearby:
- sail or motorboat on Lake Ryńskie (if you need to moor at the pier, it's worth asking one of the neighbors – you shouldn't do it at ours, as it's a fishing pier),
- use the entire Good Masuria: in addition to Lake Ryńskie, nearby are Lake Notyst, Lake Tałty, Lake Tałtowisko, and a little further on, Lake Śniardwy – if you love water sports, a whole lake of possibilities opens up for you.
- Ride your bike – there are countless picturesque routes here; we recommend our favorite one towards Kętrzyn to the palace in Nakomiady.
- Go for walks – for example, follow the route to Mrówki Bay or all the way to Lake Tałty, to Skorupki.
- Go kayaking on the Krutynia River (it starts in Ukta, 35 km away).
- See the Nakomiady Palace: you can stroll through the park with 300-year-old trees or peek into the mysterious palace chapel.

Due to the proximity of the lake and the fact that the house is situated on a slope, we would not recommend visiting with young people under the age of 9 (although, you know, it all depends, and the decision really belongs to you, the parents). However, you would have to keep an eye on the little ones. A bit older kids will have great time with us. They are waiting for days of splashing in the lake, jumping from the pier, playing on our large plot, maybe even fishing under the supervision of a parent-angler. You can go kayaking or sailing on a sailboat. Well, there is no boredom. There are also attractions in the area for an active crowd.

The house is rented exclusively, so you can work comfortably within your own group. We invite you to work together in the living and dining room, where you can answer emails or write a few lines of code at the eight-seater table with high-back chairs. We also have a projector, which makes conducting training sessions and presentations much easier. Each of the four bedrooms has an 80 x 35 cm table and a chair with armrests. And after work or during a break, you can head out to our terrace, because nothing is as relaxing as a coffee with a lake view or relaxing in our spa area, infrared and Finnish saunas, and relaxation room with a home salt cave.
