Nad potokiem

The house is designed for a couple or a couple with a dog. Two people will be most comfortable here. We built the house for our own needs and we come here sometimes, on weekends, when we don't get to some high mountain trail. On the mezzanine there is a bedroom with a large bed. There is a living area downstairs: a kitchenette, seating area, fireplace, bathroom with shower. Fishing is forbidden in our pond. We are vegetarians ourselves and let the fish live freely. Please remember to take a towel for the dog / kitten - maybe he will come up with the idea of bathing in the pond, and then a proper wiping will be necessary. Do not let dirty animals into the house :)

The little village shop is in the village. A kilometer from us there are ponds and a fishery where you can catch a dinner yourself. If you would like to come ready, there is also a "Nad Potokiem" fry shop there, not only good fried trout, but also smoked fish and cheese.

We have a stream just behind the fence and a gate in the fence leading to the water. Potoczek is called Grzedowski, because how else? Ice cold water flows in it, which feeds our pond. If you are brave enough, you can cool down in the pond in summer and sea in winter. The water heats up a bit in summer, and in winter it provides cryotherapy. You can also soak your feet while sitting on the pier, or simply listen to the frog's croaking and read books. You can also sunbathe on the terrace, and soak up the energy by hugging the birch trees. You have a leisurely rest here, you jump out of here to get to know the Karkonosze Mountains and the unique surrounding villages. We recommend us actively, because that's the only way to truly relax. Paweł runs in the mountains, so he recommends Śnieżka for a run. Not only for ascents, we recommend the Okraj Pass, Skalny Stół, and Wielka Sowa (a bit further, in the Owl Mountains). For the view, it is worth going to Raven Rocks (quite a climb along the green trail). At the top, a beautiful panorama of Lubawka and the Valley of Love awaits you. If the steep climb scares you, choose the blue trail. It is not far from us to the Sudety Wałbrzyskie Landscape Park, for example to the Borowa Mountain with an observation tower, to Waligóra, i.e. the highest peak of the Stone Mountains, Szpiczak and the ruins of the Rogowiec castle. It is also worth visiting the nearby Sokołowsko with an interesting church and unusual cultural events. And from Grzędy you can take shortcuts to Sokołowska, up the hill. At the International Film Festival, at Sanatorium Dźwięku, at Konteksty. Post-art congress. By bike, here is paradise. We know what we are talking about, because we cycle to work all year round, and when we happen to come on foot, it causes a great stir. Bicycles are at your disposal on site. You can drive up to the reservoir in Grzędy and fish there. There is a bicycle path from Krzeszów to Kamienna Góra, and in Kamienna Góra, park by the Projekt Ardo Museum, Hitler's lost laboratory. You can also go to Trójgarb (778 m above sea level) with the observation tower and admire the Karkonosze Mountains from the top of the tower. A bicycle tour of the immediate vicinity is also possible. You can find the stone Court Table, one of the few surviving tables in Europe. They were usually held by village or church courts, but most of them were made of wood, and therefore did not survive to our times. Then you can drive to the Głazy Krasnoludków nature reserve or to the Devil's Club. Skałkowo and caves are also rich in the area. We recommend you to go to the Rock City in the Czech Republic (30 km from us).
