We are located in the Nemunas Loop Regional Park, and our village is called Alksniakiemis (from Lithuanian "Alder Village"). You won't see alders near the house, but closer to the Nemunas, where the terrain is wetter, there are plenty of them. This is where the name of our homestead comes from: "Alnus" is Latin for "alder". Here, on 4 hectares of land, you can find my grandmother's old house, my father's hand-built summerhouse and the authentic Gluosnis (Lithuanian for "Willow") house we built, to which we warmly invite you.

Arriving here, you will experience wholeheartedly the breath of wild nature, the scent of acacias, the buzzing of bees on the flowers. You will see how the seasons change and the ancient forest merges with the young park we have established. We nurture the kind of environment we would like to relax in ourselves. We dream of one day being able to look after just this place and you, to continue to build on what our ancestors have passed on to us. We believe in being with ourselves and with nature. Like-minded guests are welcome!

We offer our guests an authentic Willow cabin surrounded by wild nature. The cabin is for two people, but it can also accommodate four people (double sofa-bed), as well as with children (recommended from 7 years old). In the cabin, we have prepared for you: a sleeping area on the mezzanine with a large comfortable bed and a view of the pine tops, a fully equipped kitchenette and a living room with a cinema area. The cottage also has a shower/toilet, bed linen, towels, the double bath set includes additional towels, bathrobes, woolen socks, rubber slippers and rugs. In the interior, light colors, natural materials and historical details. In the kitchen you will find a refrigerator, stove, dishes, coffee, salt, pepper, sugar, tea, oil.
The cabin is energy efficient, the air conditioner will quickly cool or heat it up. The large area of four hectares will be enjoyed by you alone and maybe by stray deer :)

We do not provide catering, but the cabin has a fully equipped kitchenette with a dining area. You can buy food products in Prienai or Biršton, and you can drink water directly from the tap - we have tasty, good quality water.

We are surrounded by the Nemunas loop regional park and the close neighborhood of the Birštonas resort. About 800 meters to the river bank. The house stands on a 4-hectare area, where the old forest borders the youth park that we are forming. In spring, the garden blooms, flexible, in early summer - acacia alley, later jasmines, hydrangeas. Nature invites you for a walk, forest bathing, picnics and complete relaxation.

On the terrace of the cottage, a hot spring bath* saturated with magnesium salts awaits you with a view of the nature of the regional park. When you book a bath, bathrobes, towels, woolen socks and fluffy robes and slippers are on site, no need to worry about anything. We hope you will feel comfortable and cozy, like at home.
