In the beginning there was a swamp here. Maybe a wet area, but it is extremely charming, located in a birch grove and surrounded by a pine forest. Just in time for a hideout! My eyes could see the cottage hanging among the trees, and my hands reached for the phone to find Pete Nelson masters of his trade. Karolina accepted my enthusiasm with a slight doubt, thinking that it was just another of my crazy ideas. But when, after examining the condition of the trees, the arborist decided that three gray alders were perfect for a home, the doubts disappeared. The project has united our family and has spawned new friendships. Because that's how it is with houses among trees, they have a magical power to connect people with each other and with nature.

In the shafts of our house, the forest looks like in a mirror. While sitting on the terrace, you can hear and sometimes see beavers. Sometimes a stork also comes by. And so only silence, the sound of a brook and birds singing. It's best to treat them from the tub. We have a lot of goodness here for nature lovers, attentive observers, romantics in love with greenery. And anyone who has ever dreamed of spending the night in a treehouse. We invite you, check what it feels like to make your dreams come true.

In the treehouse! In a birch grove, in a clearing, in the buffer zone of a pine forest, our house is built on three gray alders. From the terrace you can see the water canal made by beavers. You can also see them sometimes, and even hear them more often. There used to be a river this way, now its old bed has remained. The Iłżanka River flows several hundred meters away.

Our wooden house, made of vertically arranged pine boards, is 35 m² in size. Up to 4 people will comfortably spend there time. Inside and in the immediate vicinity, waiting for them:
- a double mattress on a spacious mezzanine and a sofa bed in the living room,
- kitchenette,
- a goat in the living room and underfloor heating, thanks to which the house is year-round,
- bathroom with shower,
- terrace with a seating set and a fireplace,
- a tub among trees,
- a place for a bonfire with wooden chairs and a table.

We are animal lovers. We have our horse, Fenomen, near the house where we live. When we're there, you can come visit him. We also have 4 dogs - Fido, Ciri, Luna and Aze. And we believe that four-legged family members also deserve a vacation, so we fenced our area out of concern for their safety. When you come to us, be sure to take them.

And if you are wondering if the treehouse is damaging trees, we are in a hurry to explain. The selected trees were examined by an arborist, assessing their condition. Knowing that the trees are healthy and strong, we decided to use the least invasive, safest and most modern way to build a tree house. The subject was dealt with by a team of professionals. During construction, no nails were hammered into the trees, no clamps were tightened on them, and yet the structure of the house is fully supported by trees, there are no supports. Magic, right?

In the treehouse, you can cook on your own, order a pizza or go to a restaurant run by the host, who is a chef by profession.

The kitchenette has everything you need to cook in it comfortably. There is no dining area in the house, but you will find a table and armchairs on the terrace (there is also a fireplace), and a table and chairs are in the clearing by the fire pit.

You will or you will not be, it depends, after all, boredom is not a bad state, and being in it can be a lot of fun.
We have tested them on ourselves and hereby present you our sincere recommendations:
- breakfast on the terrace overlooking the water and the forest wall,
- listening to the sound of the stream and bird concerts,
- joint hammocking,
- playing with dogs in the clearing in front of the house, because dogs are welcome with us,
- evening bath in a tub with hot water, bubbles in hand, accompanied by the sound of the stream and the hoot of an owl.

A dense forest wall will separate you from the world, ensuring blissful peace and peaceful dreams. Sometimes only storks come to visit. And perhaps this silence, this closeness to nature will awaken in you the will to discover. From our plot there are paths leading into the forest, which you can walk for hours. It's also very nice to explore the area by bike, so if you can, take two wheels with you.

We also have in the area:

- The Iłżanka River flows right next to us. We have 300 meters to it in a straight line, but to get to the place where you can go down to the water, you need to walk 900 meters. Next to our plot there is another path, 550 meters to the river and there is a pier.
- Located 15 km from us, Iłża surprises with its possibilities. The Castle of Krakow Bishops is a place of various cultural events, including knightly tournaments and handicraft workshops. You can visit it with the dogs!
In Iłża, behind the house in Podzamcze 38, there was a raspberry chrusniak known from Leśmian's poem. The poet spent his holidays here (his mother came from here and his aunt lived from there) and he fell in love with Dora Lebenthal here. In the city there is a Leśmian memorial room with beautiful interiors reflecting the atmosphere of the interwar period.
- There is also a marina in Iłża, you can rent bikes, kayaks, pedal boats or boats there, as well as the station of the Starachowice Narrow-Gauge Railway, which will take you to the forest backwoods of the Iłżecka Forest,
- 24 km from us there is an arboretum in the Marcule Forest District. On 7.9 hectares of land, you will discover over 600 species of native and temperate shrubs and trees. Right next to it there is a mini-zoo with geese, pheasants, donkeys, goats and fallow deer.
- The Brodzki Lagoon, a very touristic place with a beach, water equipment rental and a rope park, is 37 km away from the cottage.
- We have 30 km to Radom, 38 to Starachowice, and less than 40 km to Wąchock.
- Nearby (about 15 km from us) there is a horse stud.

Pack your suitcases, laptops and your four-legged pet and come to us for workation. Probably not many people can share a story about working from a treehouse. Inside you will find a comfortable sofa and an armchair with a coffee table. A set of garden sofas awaits you on the terrace, from which you can connect to the office and make your co-workers jealous or just start. After work, it is worth running to the tub to listen to the rustle of trees under the starry sky.
