In the beginning there was a swamp here. Maybe a wet area, but it is extremely charming, located in a birch grove and surrounded by a pine forest. Just in time for a hideout! My eyes could see the cottage hanging among the trees, and my hands reached for the phone to find Pete Nelson masters of his trade. Karolina accepted my enthusiasm with a slight doubt, thinking that it was just another of my crazy ideas. But when, after examining the condition of the trees, the arborist decided that three gray alders were perfect for a home, the doubts disappeared. The project has united our family and has spawned new friendships. Because that's how it is with houses among trees, they have a magical power to connect people with each other and with nature.
In the shafts of our house, the forest looks like in a mirror. While sitting on the terrace, you can hear and sometimes see beavers. Sometimes a stork also comes by. And so only silence, the sound of a brook and birds singing. It's best to treat them from the tub. The Forest Mirror is our joint idea. We met during the march on November 11. I was riding the banner then, and I noticed Karolina in the crowd. Me - uhlan, she - horse lover and a great rider. There was no other option, it had to work. We both love to travel, especially the car ones after camping in Europe. We love contact with nature, spending time actively and playing board games under tents :) The best decision was to escape from the big city to the countryside. Karolina is now regularly successful in horse competitions. She was the Polish Champion in show jumping on Arabian horses. I found myself as her support and logistics specialist during all trips. We have two horses. The stallion Fenomen is a well-deserved retired grandfather, who, after a successful sports career, is now walking in our yard, and the young mare Webista, just starting her career. Apart from horses, we also love our dogs. We have 4 of them - Fido, Ciri, Luna and Aza. Privately, Karolina is a trader, she sells hundreds of tons of metal all over Poland. On the other hand, I combined passion and work - I am a professional cook, specifically a deputy chef. Now we want to be good hosts :)
