In a seemingly forgotten region, surrounded by robber stories and fables, there is a homely guesthouse and 2 spacious tents, set into the hillside, not far from it. Jitka and Jindřich take care of everything here. These two will do everything to make your vacation in the Lusatian Mountains more pleasant.
Enjoy glamping (luxury camping) in spacious beds, with equipped facilities, your own terrace and the most beautiful view in the Lusatian Mountains. You will enjoy the peace that few people get in everyday life. And you will be ALONE here. Just maybe you'll catch a glimpse of the White Lady at the nearby ruins of Tolštejn Castle during an evening barbecue. But she won't fit in your tent either.
Exactly 147 steps from the historic Tollendorf hut, which today functions as a family guesthouse, there are 2 tents. What, tents... Kings among tents! A wonderful oasis of calm with boho elements, set in the zen nature of the Lusatian Mountains. Although the tents are located in privacy, the proximity of the guest house plays an important role for your comfort. You can use its facilities when you long for classic holiday comfort.
In each tent you will find a double bed and a sofa that can be converted into a futon bed for two in one fell swoop. Glamping is a wonderful experience not only for couples, but also for whole families. Of course, including four-legged family members who are welcome with us. In addition to lying down, you will also find a sitting area under the tarpaulin and a kitchenette with basic dishes, a stove and a refrigerator. There are also sockets in the tent.
A luxurious wooden terrace will ensure that you don't have to share your breakfast with ants lurking in the grass. And also that you will enjoy your morning coffee accompanied by a bird orchestra, which will certainly play "yours". You will also enjoy an evening barbecue while watching the sun setting behind the peaks of the Lusatian Mountains.
The chemical toilet and solar shower are located in a common "bathroom" near the tents, so don't expect any unsolicited (un)hygienic adventures. But if your cleansing holiday ritual includes lying in the bath for an hour, no problem. As we forwarded, the facilities of the Tollendorf cottage are at your disposal. And with it, in addition to the bathroom, there is also a television, a wine cellar, a refreshment room and Wi-Fi.
ACCOMMODATION WITH BREAKFAST
A holiday idyll starts with a good breakfast. We will bring you a basket full of goodies right up to the tent, if you wish. You can choose between the classic continental or vegetarian version, but if you have a special diet, we will be happy to accommodate you.
We primarily choose local and fresh ingredients. The eggs and honey are from the immediate vicinity. If you particularly enjoy the work of the local bees, you can buy a glass of sweet linden gold to take home.
GLAMPING WITH KITCHEN AND GRILL
You can conjure up lunch and dinner in the surprisingly well-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator and induction cooker. The water is drinkable and comes directly from our well. But why waste time at the stove? Tell us about the PICNIC BASKET and head out to the meadow. It tastes doubly good in the mountain air. We are always available during your stay, so don't be afraid to stop by for tips on the best view and provisions.
On summer evenings, it would be a shame not to end a beautiful day with a barbecue. Prepare your favorite and throw it on the prepared gas grill. Those who carry the spirit of Trempe and the sound of the guitar accompanied by "Stánky" in their hearts will also appreciate the fireplace near the cottage.
GLAMPING WITH SELF-SERVICE BAR
The Refreshment Room is available at any time for meeting and supplementing your drinking regime. At the self-service bar, you don't have to be shy about coming back for another glass or mug. The menu includes draft beer, wine, pressed coffee, tea and more.
When your prepared supplies run out, there is no danger of famine. A short walk will take you to the nearest store in Jiřetín, where you will find everything you need. For first-class baked goods, head to the Krásná Lípa bakery in Choda and drive to Varnsdorf for larger purchases.
Fancy an authentic taste buds experience? The Na Stodolci restaurant, a 16-minute drive away, offers a quality fresh and seasonal menu. You can drink it with their own beer. For fans of hop juice, we recommend a visit to the nearby Falkštejn Brewery in Česká Lípa. They collect one award after another and you will definitely taste like from the seventh deficit. Kocour Brewery was very popular in Varnsdorf. Its branches have already spread not only across the country, but also abroad.
Who needs to surf the internet and devour romantic movies when the greatest romance is waiting all around? Swing into the net between the trees and let yourself be lulled to bliss by the beautiful Czech nature and fragrant breeze.
Sleep, think, clear your head and lungs and explore the surrounding trails on foot or by bike. The Czech-Saxon Switzerland, Lusatia and Žitav Mountains offer kilometers of cycling routes of varying difficulty. If you feel like pedaling, but don't bring your own equipment with you, we are happy to arrange the rental of bicycles or comfortable e-bikes that can handle the mountain elevation with ease.
To relax the muscles strained by sports, drive a little over the border to the picturesque town of Bad Schandau, where the Toskana thermal baths await. In addition to the sauna world, it also offers an unusual experience, the so-called "flowing sound". It is about inducing a state of weightlessness in water while listening to relaxing music.
Excursions with a spiritual overlap are offered by the Stations of the Cross, of which there are a total of 14 in the area. The most famous of them on Křížová hora is within walking distance of our guesthouse. And if you long for a good dose of adrenaline after a spiritual experience, the Jedlová adrenaline park is waiting for you (just a stone's throw away), which will test your courage during both summer and winter activities.
What’s there for children?
Where better for children to release excess energy than on the tops of hills and mountains. The undulating relief of the Czechoslovak Switzerland and Lusatian Mountains National Park. There you will also come across a number of educational trails that will excite the inquisitive restless. During your visit, you will discover a number of places that featured in popular fairy tales. For example, at Panská skála you will remember the Proud Princess and Dolský mlýn played in Hell with the princess.
In the vicinity, you should not miss the ruins of Tolštejn Castle, which is surrounded by legends about robbers, hidden treasures and rumors about the White Lady. You can check the daredevils who have done it for fear at Úštěk in the Museum of Devils. Wilder personalities are usually tamed here.
