At a glance
After years of rafting on the Narew and Bug rivers, a naturalist friend of ours showed us Pilica. And we were completely lost for this river with its swift current, twisting meanders, sandy shore and only a meter deep. Here we decided to create our stop. The house was built in Ryki by Mr. Jacek, and then brought to us by a special transport. It took 6 hours to put it up so that neither the favorite oak nor the two beautiful pines would suffer. Life is spent here in a hammock, on a swing and in a sandbox, on a beach by the river, in a kayak, on a bike and on SUP. And although the Pilica is quite fast, don't let it fool you, we don't drink anything, it doesn't force you to hurry. Our cottage can be family or friendly. We want to share it, because everyone who visits it always wants to stay a little longer.
That you have arrived, you will be sure of the green sign with the words "Leśnych Kotów street". But don't google it, because it doesn't exist. The inhabitants came up with the name. It is one of the two villages on this side of the river belonging to Lechanice, a village of noble origin, which for centuries belonged to the Divine family of Jasieńczyk z God's coat of arms. Until recently, there was a summer resort here, where the inhabitants of Warka held weddings in a round log by the river. Today you can only hear the noise of the Stromecka Forest pines and the singing of birds, which have their refuge nearby as part of Natura 2000. There is a pier by the river, teeming with life, and although the atmosphere of the old days returns in the season, we are completely alone here in winter. Somewhere between the wilderness and people. One hour's drive from the capital. We cordially invite you.

Our adventure with Pilica began by accident, when a few years ago our friends invited us for a family kayaking trip. As it is close to Warsaw, we started visiting regularly. We sailed tens of kilometers in a kayak, we discovered nearby beaches - sunrises and sunsets. We liked the area so much that we came up with the idea of building a house that would allow others to discover the charms of the Pilica Valley. We want to share this place with you. We invite.
