Although the house in Glina is not made of clay, it is made of the best childhood memories, grandmother's hospitality and tenderness towards old houses, which deserve special treatment. For the first time, it was saved from oblivion by Grandma Helena, who gave me a port to which I always liked to return. It was here that I learned tenderness towards nature and fell in love with a simple, peaceful life. After years, I decided to save the wooden house from oblivion for the second time. I filled it with flowers, books and objects with soul - grandmother's oak table, great-grandmother's wardrobe and an old sideboard. I kept the tiled stove in the kitchen and gave a second life to the furniture found in the stone barn next to the house. It is thanks to all these objects, although not only them, that you can feel the good energy in Helenówka, which Guests have been telling me about for years. They send text messages of thanks, leave notes, maintain contact. They write that it is here that they managed to forget about the whole world and go back to their childhood. That they listened to bird concerts from morning till night, finally read a book in a hammock, drank coffee on the terrace, just looking at the trees. That the dogs were running and the children were happy. I don't know who was happier. They say they feel at home here, although they have never been here before. This is how Helenówka works - a habitat of goodness. Drop by and see for yourself.
