We have a house with olx, and the house has a window with a panoramic view of the lake. This window is our doing, because previously there was just a wall here. From the first time I saw it, I knew that we would knock a hole in it so that I could watch a program broadcast by nature around the clock. Our neighbor says this sight is a heartbreaker. We must admit that it is easy to succumb to his charms and want to absorb him with your senses, using a comfortable sofa, a wicker chaise longue and the vicinity of a bench that was made of old boards by Uncle Waldek. For hours, you can look at the blue surface of the lake and its frequent visitors: a family of ducks, a pair of herons and a cormorant drying its wings on the pier. On this pier, you can have a picnic, take a sunbath on a unfolded towel, or soak your feet while watching the kids on the shore make a mud kitchen. And if you want to go for a book, you will have 38 steps to the house.

You must know that we do not have an exclusive coastline and we are part of a larger cottage community. They all sit on the shore of Lake Sarbsko, only 3 km from the borders of Łeba and 2.5 km from the sea. Although we have a summer resort in the name and our village fills up in the season with craving for relaxation away from the top seaside resorts, not everything here revolves around summer. In the off-season, when the world is shrouded in cold and darkness, we are almost entirely alone here. It may be more difficult to use a pontoon or SUP, but the warmth of the fireplace and the water in the jacuzzi are especially appreciated then. So is the view that only becomes yours.

In Nowęcin (3 km from the border of Łeba) I found a region of houses by Lake Sarbsko. Perfect for hiding away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The house found on olx, we underwent a major renovation, rebuilding the entire downstairs. Now the ground floor consists of:
– a bright, cozy living room with a sofa facing the panoramic window (the view from it makes the TV set in the corner often redundant), you will also find a wicker chaise longue and a wooden bench,
– a corner with a goat and a wicker armchair,
– a corner with a dining area, where there is a table with chairs and a bench,
– bookcases with books, board games and puzzles (for children and adults),
– a kitchenette,
– bathrooms with a shower.

On the first floor you will find:
– a small bedroom with a double bed in shades of pink,
– a large bedroom with a double bed and two single beds in shades of yellow,
- a small toilet.

The 68 m² interior can accommodate up to 6 people. The cottage has a large terrace on the side with a jacuzzi, barbecue, deckchairs and a lounge set. In the green corner next to the terrace, I have prepared a canopy bed for you - a perfect reading corner or space for napping for children. There is also a swing on the terrace. So that you can fully enjoy the charms of Lake Sarbsko, we have prepared two SUP boards and a pontoon for you.

The plot is approx. 200 meters and is corner. From the side of the road it is fenced, but it is open to the lake. Since the strip of trees belongs to the State Forests and access to the lake is common, we have a large wooden screen for you to separate yourself from the world. We are separated from our neighbors by tall Christmas trees. Although you will not be alone here, because there are a lot of houses here, even in high season there are no crowds here. And in the off-season, it can be really empty, because there are mostly summer houses here.

In our well-equipped and functional kitchenette, you can conjure up anything you want. The cooking time will be enjoyed by ducks and a cormorant - regular visitors to the pier over the lake that can be seen from the window. You can eat your meals at the table inside or on the terrace. There is also a barbecue at your disposal. There are two grocery stores in close proximity to the cottage, which you can go to by the lake.

Boredom does not look into the windows here, only pure nature, which you can enjoy all the time. Although summer vacationers from all over Poland come to Nowecin in the season, you can count the houses inhabited all year round on the fingers of one hand. This means that in the summer you will certainly run into neighbors, but in the off-season you will most likely be completely alone here.

By staying with us you will be able to:
– enjoy the proximity of the lake and the pier, which is 38 steps from the house – you can admire the sun rising from it and how it melts in the lake in the evenings, you can also see the Stilo lighthouse from here,
– read books on the pier or have picnics there,
– watch clouds or stars from the swing position,
– hide with a book in a summer bed under a canopy,
– relax in a jacuzzi with ozonated water,
– enjoy meals on the terrace,
– staring from the couch at a view that looks like a photo wallpaper,
– admire the surroundings from a SUP board or an inflatable pontoon.

Lake Sarbsko is located less than a kilometer from the sea. Although it is shallow, it has a muddy bottom and is not transparent, so we do not recommend it for swimming. However, it is a great place for water sports. The area is quite windy, which allows for windsurfing and kitesurfing. There are even a few schools if you would like to try any of the activities for the first time. You can fish at the lake, but you have to check the current rules and pay the appropriate fee. Right next to us there is a water equipment rental with pedal boats and kayaks. For rafting, we recommend the route along the Chełst River, which flows through the lake and flows into the Łeba River.

The lake can be circumnavigated by a path (the Sarbian loop). This is also the route of one of the surrounding bicycle paths.

For a longer walk, you can go along the Sarbska Spit, which is a miniature of the Słowiński National Park, located a few kilometers west of us. There is a hiking and cycling tourist trail that allows you to admire wild crowberry forests and seaside habitats in the Mierzeja Sarbska nature reserve. The trail runs along a narrow strip of land between the sea shore and Lake Sarbsko. There are benches along the route. The yellow route is approx. 5 km long, the green route, considered difficult, is approx. 12 km long.

We have two horse farms in the neighbourhood. A herd of friendly cows grazes right next to it.

You can walk to the seaside or cycle 2.5 km along the path leading by the lake and then through the forest (paved in this section). The beach lying exactly in a straight line from the house (at the height where the lake begins), at the very end of Łeba, is not crowded even in the season. If you decide to go by car, the distance is approx. 4.5 km. Another uncrowded, wide and beautiful beach is Ulinia.

Parallel to Letniskowa, where our house is located, there is an alley of old oaks (three adults can barely cover them). We recommend it for walking and jogging.

And finally, the palace. In the fifteenth century, the former seat of the von Wejher family in Łeba was destroyed by a storm. Then in Nowęcin, Claus von Wejher built a new palace - Neuer Hof, the remains of which can be admired today.

The kids have a lot of fun here, because immediately after getting up they can run to the lake. And as soon as they say the slogan: no waves !, in a quarter of an hour you can be at the seaside. Sarbsko is shallow, child-friendly, so the fun at the shore is sometimes endless. There is a pier right next to the cottage, and the small beach often turns into a real mud kitchen. In our jacuzzi, the water is ozonated, which is appreciated by the parents of the crumbs.

We also have space for nature lessons. A tree house for insects hangs on the tree, a gift from our guests that attracts many species and arouses great interest in the youngest. And in the vicinity, children can experience contact with horses and idyllic grazing cows.

I have prepared a play corner for the youngest under the stairs. It is a real base that can keep kids busy for a long time - with a hanging fishing net, soft carpet, fabric lined walls and lamps. Part of the wall is painted with a blackboard so that you can smear on it as much as you want, there are also blocks, stuffed animals and cushions. For afternoon naps, I recommend a summer bed next to the terrace.
