If you've seen an old film about Tad Blind, you probably remember the impressive mountain with which the story begins. This is the Verpet mountain, the highest in the vicinity of Molėtai, where there are no shortage of hills and hills. When we were looking for a place in the village, we immediately felt the potential of this area. We bought a large farmstead with an abandoned hundred-year-old house and little by little, combining work in the city with a new "hobby" in the countryside, we started to create an organic farm.

We filled the wide meadows with inhabitants: Lithuanian Žemaituk horses, small ponies and black horses. Keeping the original details, we restored an old Highland house. Over time, we also restored other dilapidated buildings in the homestead area to a new life. We opened them to all citizens who need peace of mind. Thus, three guest houses have sprung up, all green with white windows, matching the surroundings. At the Alanta horse farm in Molėtai district, we have three houses for guests. All three - green in color, with bathtubs and terraces, differ only in their sizes. The Mountain Cabin* is medium (sleeps 4), we have equipped it with two small bedrooms and a living room with panoramic windows. The lodge stands on a hill with a view across the pond to the hilly landscape as far as the horizon. There are amazing sunsets that nothing blocks, and you can watch horses, ponies and cattle grazing peacefully in the meadows. Silence and peace, because other buildings are about 400 meters away (farmstead area - 40 ha, all guests have privacy). In summer, the cottage is pleasantly cool, in winter it is warm and cozy in the warmth of the wood-burning stove. The floor is heated, we provide firewood. All that remains for the guests is to relax and enjoy the rest :).

In the mountain house, we can accommodate from two to four guests, there can be a family with children. One bedroom has a double bed, the other has two single beds. In the cabin you will find bed linen, towels, disposable slippers, and bathrobes.

If you are looking for a place for remote work, we have a desk, a good wi-fi signal and plenty of light.

We accept pets only by prior agreement, for an additional fee. Since we have our own animals, we need to be sure that the guests' pets behave in a friendly and orderly manner on the premises.

The cottage kitchen is equipped with dishes, tools and all the equipment needed for cooking, and outside there is a stone fireplace and barbecue with spits and grills. We will provide firewood on site, and drinking water can be taken from the tap (it is not necessary to bring bottled water).

What will you do when you come to us?

First of all, in our homestead you will spend a lot of time in nature, breathing fresh air and listening to the silence, because how else? Nature surrounds us from all sides and even inside the house you can observe it through the glazed wall of the living room. Surrender to its charms: spend time on the terrace and meadows, take a boat ride*, go fishing. When you return home, you will feel relaxed and rejuvenated.

When you arrive, you will quickly notice our four-legged inhabitants, thanks to which the name of the homestead arose: Zemaits horses, graceful and obedient. It is one of the oldest species of domestic horses in Europe, which recently appeared on the verge of extinction. We have been breeding them since 2007 and cannot imagine our life without them. We also have tiny Shetland ponies, and in our meadows you will also meet black Angus horses. If you want, you can communicate with all of them, feed them (bring carrots!) and take pictures - our animals are friendly and used to guests, and the old wolf dog Viki doesn't even bark at strangers.

Inside the lodge is an infrared sauna and outside there is a private hot tub* exclusively for guests of this lodge. If you plan to use it, let us know in advance, we will prepare it for the evening.

Those who want to explore the area will also find activities. Nearby is the Alanta Manor, the Museum of Blessed Teofilius Matuliomis, one of the 12 wooden Jewish synagogues restored and many other interesting places.

You have probably already guessed that children will not be bored at our homestead. They establish friendships with animals even faster than adults, so only saying goodbye to beloved four-legged friends can cause sadness.
The homestead has plenty of safe space for running and playing, but we remind you that the child's parents or guardians are responsible for the safety of children (especially near the pond).
