I think everyone knows the saying, "Leave everything and go to the Bieszczady Mountains." And I'd like to legally change it to: leave it all and go to the Lubuskie Voivodeship. Because Lubuskie Voivodeship should become the new synonym for wilderness, untouched nature, and wilderness. It's a bit like Alaska, but without the mountains. We have one of the least popular and most stunning National Parks in Poland – Drawieński. We have lakes, rivers full of trout and salmon, the neighboring Drawa River, where you can experience almost whitewater rafting, and the largest forest cover in Poland. That's why it's here, after years of traveling the world, that I decided to create Puchacza's Dacza, a place for close encounters with nature.
Three yurts with access to the sky, a fireplace for truly Mongolian winters, and a sauna and hot tub for pampering. They are located in the tourist steppes, in an area thankfully forgotten, and therefore still wild. Nestled near the Drawa River, otters, hooting eagle owls, and meadows shrouded in mist. Come for a five-star forest vacation and experience what it's like to be a Drawa Juulchin (a Mongolian word meaning "tourist").
The Owl's Dacha, or three year-round yurts, were created with the Drawno Yuulchin (tourists) in mind. I modeled them on Mongolian tents, but I wanted you to be as comfortable as possible. Nomads from the Asian steppes probably didn't have the opportunity to lounge in a round hammock built into the terrace, but you certainly did. With a view of the forest, you can quickly jump into a hot tub, soak in the sauna, or nap by the fireplace.
The yurts are similar, differing only in the color of the décor. In the Owl's Forest, you can find:

Lighted paths lead to each of them.
The yurts are designed for a maximum of four people, but since it's one open space, it's best for a family or couple. They feature:
- a bedroom area with a large double bed in a private alcove with a curtain,
- a bathroom with a shower,
- a living area with a sofa, coffee table, and fireplace,
- a dining area with a table for four,
- a kitchenette,
- a terrace with round hammocks and loungers,
- towels, bathrobes, books about the area, games, Nordic walking poles, a clothes dryer, a picnic basket, a picnic blanket, eco-friendly toiletries, and deckchairs.
Each yurt has an electric skylight in the ceiling, perfectly positioned under the stars, allowing you to be even closer to nature.
All guests of the Juulchin Drewieńscy family are asked to treat the yurts with kindness and, above all, to walk around them without shoes.
We love dogs, and each yurt is equipped with a dog bed :)
An island in a yurt? At the dacha, anything is possible. You can prepare meals in the well-equipped kitchenette and enjoy them on the terrace or in the dining area with a wooden table for four.
You can also order one of four breakfast baskets with eco-friendly products (priced from 190 PLN to 490 PLN, they are full of products and enough for 2-4 people). Guests say the bread we put in the basket is out of this world – it's hard to disagree. If cooking on vacation isn't your thing, order delicious, home-cooked dinners (soups, dumplings, lecsó, bigos, or cabbage rolls) for 160 PLN (80 PLN/person).

Welcome to the wilderness. Here, nature truly is the only thing happening. For your first coffee or tea of the day, you can step out onto the terrace, relax your eyes with the greenery, and gaze into the distance (it's great for your eyesight). A birdwatching program is included in the morning package. And then there's nothing more enjoyable than a dip in the hot tub (especially when the weather doesn't encourage you to get out from under the covers). In summer, you can leave the water heated and cool off in the bubble bath.
When you decide to leave the hot tub or terrace hammock, you can start with a micro-adventure. To the Drawa River, which flows a few meters from the yurts, to the forest, to the meadows. In summer, you can cool off in the river – the gentlemen who set up the yurts have already tested its pleasant current.
And since there's a river, there are kayaks. The next kayaking trip will start in our village. The Drawskie Kajaki Foundation organizes kayaking trips on the Drawa, allowing you to admire the Drawa National Park from the water. You can adjust the difficulty level to your paddling skills. There are relaxing stretches, and even some that are almost mountainous. You might even spot an otter on the trail.
Being here, in the buffer zone of Drawsko National Park, it would be a sin not to cross its threshold. In my opinion, it's one of the most beautiful, and certainly one of the wildest, national parks in Poland. It's fortunate that it's rarely talked about, as this allows you to walk or cycle among the stunning nature, passing old farmhouses with colorful doors, porches, and shutters, without encountering a soul along the way.
And there's plenty to walk and cycle with. The trails in Drawsko National Park have a total length of over 230 km. This covers over 11,500 hectares of picturesque forest on the border of three voivodeships: Greater Poland, Lubusz, and West Pomerania. This includes the Drawa River, famous for its recent salmon spawning grounds, the Płociczna River, the Wartka Słopica River, the Ciemna Runica River, the Zmienna Cieszynka River, lakes, the remains of mills, steelworks, bindugs, and eel mills.
IMPORTANT: The park boasts 20 ecologically diverse lakes. Only one of them, Lake Ostrowieckie, is not subject to a swimming and fishing ban.
If you're interested, and it's worth it, we'll give you the contact information for a great guide who can organize a guided tour of the area (the area is incredibly interesting historically and urbex-wise) or the park. The area around the yurts is a veritable treasure trove for adventure seekers. You'll find numerous former German fortifications, the ruins of a watermill, wooden bridges, and even the remains of the von Zabeltiz family palace. Make some sandwiches, throw on your backpack, and discover what's happening in the Lubusz Voivodeship.
A particularly worthwhile bike ride is along Lake Ostrowite, stopping at the viewpoint offering a beautiful panorama of the tree-covered island in the middle of the lake. You can get there by following the interconnected green and yellow trails.

Rent a bike in the morning and return it conveniently in the evening. This is the perfect option for an active day – exploring the picturesque forest trails of Puchacza's Dacha, breathing in the fresh air, and discovering the beauty of nature at your own pace.

Equestrians will also find something for themselves. Two wineries are located approximately 15-20 km from the yurts: JZ Guest Ranch-Ranczo Gościnne Zawadzcy and Van Szok Stables - Reitstall Birkenhof.
I have a suspicion bordering on certainty that children will have a great time here. Anyway, see for yourself - these autumn staff are probably the best recommendation. Throughout the year, you can bathe in a warm tub, run around the large area, lie in round couches, walk around the wilderness. You can go to the river and play stone bridge constructors there, you can go to the Drawieński National Park on an interesting cognitive path called "Ostrowieckie Lake".
