Roubenka u Liška was created as a place for family gatherings. We wanted not only to fit in, but also to feel at home. We longed for a place where we could enjoy the warmth of the family hearth. And we literally went for it! The focal point of the log house is a functional tiled stove. From there, a pleasant fire burns and the smell of wood. You all gather around this family hearth. In the living room, you can sit around the dining table where, in addition to lunch, you can enjoy board games together, plan a family project or simply pour a glass of wine. The soft sofa is perfect for curling up with fairy tales or telling stories. And then there is the VIP area: lying behind the oven. You just have to try it to understand why Honzo didn't want to leave there so much. In addition to the living room with an equipped kitchen, sitting area and tiled stove, the ground floor has a children's playroom, a bathroom with a toilet and a shower, and a wellness area with a whirlpool and a Finnish sauna. The "gentleman's room" with its double bed and hand-painted wardrobe will transport you back at least a century. It is located right next to the den, and if you leave the door open, you can fall asleep watching the tiled stove roaring. Upstairs, three more rooms await you, 2 four-bed and 1 double, and two bathrooms - one with a shower and the other with a bath, lined with tiles in a nostalgic decor. The "reading room" is furnished in a minimalist way so that nothing distracts you from your reading or partner experiences. In addition to the double bed, you can relax in an incredibly comfortable sofa bed. Disconnected from the other visitors to the cottage, you can play through a Norwegian crime trilogy or one of the Russian classics during the week. The "lilac room" provides a cozy family background. In the bedroom with four beds and a desk, you can admire the inspiring view of the forest. Perhaps a look at nature will help you finish a novel, or encourage your children to create works of art worthy of framing or exhibiting in the National Gallery. If you like to watch the sunset most of all, in the warmth of a wood-heated cottage, then book a family "Porcelain Room" for yourself. You can easily walk directly from the living room to the terrace with seating. And from here you have a view of our "garden". You can spend the whole day here. The outdoor children's playground is intended only for your little ones, but we will let you on the trampoline with them. Or just lie on the grass and watch the clouds.

The kitchen has a touching old Bohemian feel, but it is equipped in a really modern way. It depends on you whether you want to cook on the induction plate or on the stove. What do you think: Which bread smells better? The one taken out of the oven or the one baked in the oven? You can also subject this to empirical examination with us. You will be able to cook beautifully in enameled pots and enjoy your food from beautiful porcelain plates. A pleasant morning is part of a vacation, so a wide arsenal for preparing coffee awaits you here. You can then set the table on the terrace or at the long oak table directly in the living room. Whoever feels like it can have a picnic in the grass. Younger children in particular can enjoy such a picnic for hours. Summer evenings will certainly include barbecues. You can find a grill on the terrace, a classic fireplace with benches in the garden.

Don't be shy to rest when you need it. Some people love the sauna ritual ending with an ice shower from a wooden bucket, others prefer a heated bubbling whirlpool. The atmosphere in the wellness zone can be adapted to whether there are two of you in the hot tub or you are organizing a mass family regeneration here. For the bravest of you, we offer the possibility to run out of the sauna directly into the garden in winter and slap yourself in the snow. This is a very effective shock relaxation. Our fenced garden is almost 3000 square meters. We gradually plant fruit trees and sturdy nuts here, so that you have something to enjoy in the season and somewhere to hide from the stinging sun in the summer. There is a lot of free space for aimlessly running here and there, but also organized entertainment in the form of ball games or completing intricate tasks and battles. We built the log house in a really quiet place. For those who don't get silence and space to think in everyday life, our cottage is the ideal place for a vacation. There are plenty of solitary corners to be found here. We are located in the Highlands, so there is certainly no shortage of natural beauty around the cottage. You can swim in the nearby Martinice reservoir, which you should definitely try not only to swim across, but also to cross on a wooden raft. To meditate, you run to the orchid meadow, only 100 meters from the log house. In the immediate vicinity of the log cabin, you can connect to more than 150 km of cycle routes, on which owners of mountain bikes especially go. So you can playfully explore the beautiful rocky micro-region of Toulovcovy maštale from the saddle of your bicycle, or put on comfortable hiking boots and set off on foot. Those who prefer to look at the world from a height, rather than from a saddle, will go to Terezka, Borůvka, or Toulovac observation tower. And those who enjoy well-tended and beautifully landscaped nature will enjoy a beautiful afternoon in the landscape park with an educational trail near the famous Hamza rehabilitation hospital. You will also find an arboretum here.
