At a glance
At the turn of the 1960s and 1970s, Drzymała's car stood here. Bohemia artists from Krosno organized plein-air painting, and musicians and poets drew creative inspiration from here. Then, after 10 years of endless partying, all the artists grew up and left. There is a patch of greenery with a view of the gentle hills of the Dynowskie Foothills, a forest that turns into the Czarnorzecko-Strzyżewski Landscape Park and a separation from the world, because the nearest neighbor is 300 meters away. It was just what I needed when at some point in my life I was looking for a quiet place in the middle of nowhere. There was a glued together and uninsulated cottage, which I decided to transform into a cozy home.
The warmth of the fireplace can keep you for longer in the interior filled with furniture and trinkets brought from the trip. You can walk barefoot in the well-kept garden, picking strawberries ripe in the sun from the bushes. If you feel like it, you can make pizza in the bread oven, and if not, spend hours reading a book in a hammock. You can also fill your time with hiking in the forests, walking on hills, climbing natural rock formations, soaking your feet in streams, watching waterfalls, discovering traces of Bojko and Lemko history, and in winter cross-country skiing. It is close to the local vineyard, the chocolate bar, the ruins of the castle that belonged to Aleksander Fredro and whose history inspired Revenge. However, it is the closest to rest, peace of mind and regeneration.

I was born in Morąg, where my parents met, and at the age of 2 I came to Podkarpacie. And I've been here ever since. My life was so arranged that at one point I needed solitude. I bought the foundations of the house then, because the primitive, uninsulated cottage that stood here at the time could hardly be called a home. I was freezing in it my first winter here. Nevertheless, I felt that this was my place and I put a lot of work into making the house and garden a place where you can relax away from everything. The first thing I noticed on the plot was a lot of tits. Especially the smallest ones, which are the most brave, stood out - blue tit. These little birds have become an inspiration for a place where contact with nature, a view of the mountains and a cozy home space bring respite and bliss. Please, see for yourself.
