"Stay with us" stands on the mountainside, by Lake Pobondzie. It is a year-round house that fits into the landscape of the Suwałki Region, which we love. It was very important to us to keep the shape of our mountain during construction. The difference in levels on the plot is up to 20 m! Thanks to the footbridge and two levels of the ground floor, the house blends into the escarpment. After the construction was finished, I walked around the plot with the photo and reconstructed the curvature of the terrain with the excavator. He said that you could play football better here, but it's not for us - respect for the environment was key in the design of the house. Friends knocked on the head and advised to level the ground from the beginning. And today everyone says that a house would not be the same without a footbridge leading to it. House has: – 80 m², – 40-meter living room with a height of 7 m, – panoramic view of the lake and the surrounding landscape, – 2 bedrooms with double beds, – additional sleeping for 2 people on a fold-out sofa in the living room, – air conditioning in each room, – a well-equipped kitchen, – 2 storey terraces outside. It will be most convenient for you to come here with 4 people, then everyone will find their place in the bedroom, but you can also come with 6 (2 people will then sleep on the sofa). The house is open all year round and we cordially invite you at any time of the year. It is also comfortably equipped, you will not miss anything here. The shape of the house refers to farm buildings, the foundations of which were built of stone, and the facade and terraces are made of naturally aging larch. Our 1.5-hectare, unfenced, ecological and animal-friendly meadow stretches around. We have 2 friendly foxes here, hares can be found in the grass, and deer like to drop by in the morning. There are hoopoes, black storks (and dozens of white storks) and cranes - hobby ornithologists will be delighted. Everyone else, thirsty for close contact with nature, too. Due to the fact that our plot with a wild meadow around it is not fenced, and numerous visits of wild animals, we invite you here without animals. We believe you will understand. We also invite you to work with us. We have great telephone and internet coverage as well as wifi.

We love to cook ourselves, which is why we put at your disposal a kitchen that our guests say: "there is everything". Steam oven, induction with 4 "burners", dishwasher, rolling pin, openers for everything... and sharp knives. There is nothing worse when cooking than a dull knife! In addition, before your arrival, you will receive an e-guide from us, in which we indicate where to buy the best sękacz, from whom eggs and the famous local cheeses, and where to go for cold meats, which in the city would be called "craft". If, like us, you focus on good, organic and home-made ingredients in the kitchen, you've come to the right place. Outside you will find a grill and a place for a bonfire at the very bottom of the plot. Sometimes guests ask why it's so far away. I then answer that it's to burn off the calories from the sausages eaten by the fire. Let's not kid ourselves either - this is the northern Suwałki region, i.e. the end of the world. There are no restaurants in the immediate vicinity. But it is enough to drive twenty-odd kilometers to eat well outside the home. You can find all the best places in our guide. Be bored in the Suwałki Region? You have to really want. And we respect this model of rest as much as possible, and sometimes we practice it ourselves. Anyway, our house is conducive to him. We have a large table to play games and a large library, with particular emphasis on our collection of books about the Suwałki Region, which we collect. You can even find guides from the 1960s and 1970s. But in fact, there is so much to do and see here that just lying on the couch shouldn't be a threat. It is close from here to the deepest lake in Poland - ultra-clean Hańcza. We recommend our place to everyone who loves sports. We will advise you on the best routes for leisurely cycling trips, but also the largest mountains for solid training. In any case, on the trail you will sooner meet a hare or a fox than a car. We will provide contacts to the organizers of canoeing trips on the lazy and beautiful Czarna Hańcza. You will also be able to experience a real adventure on a wild and unknown Szeszupa. Our neighborhood is perfect for running and walking. And in the forest you will find not only mushrooms, but also cranberries. The house is located 5 km from the border with Lithuania and we wholeheartedly recommend a one-day trip to our northern neighbors. You will reach the beautiful Kaunas in 1.5 hours and Vilnius in 2.5 hours. And if your imagination takes you, you will reach the Baltic Sea in 3.5 hours (mostly via the motorway).
