In the Silesian Beskids, something is happening wherever you look. Keys walking trail to Malinowska Skała, enters a singletrack bicycle bend, a snow groomer bites into a ski slope, and a paraglider takes a deep breath and rises to the sky. And that's what I love Szczyrk for the most - for these mountains of possibilities on all sides.
We are the last house at the top of Jarzębinowa Street in Szczyrk. Further on, there are just insane views, spruce forest and the road to Skrzyczne, which we climb on ski-tours in winter. We run the guesthouse to which I invite you. Which means that all this confusion is the joint work of several families, many hearts, and different generations. Przystanek consists of two apartments, five rooms, a shared lounge and a garden. In total, we will accommodate and feed up to 25 guests for breakfast. Completely strangers or those who know each other from the times of the beater in the yard. Either way, it'll be nice.

You can rent the Mountain Stop exclusively and then play hide and seek in 2 apartments, 5 rooms, a living room with a fireplace, a dining room with an annex and in the garden. I am putting everything at your free disposal. For travelers traveling in smaller groups, I provide the option of booking single rooms and apartments. The apartments differ from the rooms by the presence of a living room and kitchenettes.
During summer and winter holidays, we often host children, whose patter can sometimes be carried up the stairs - so we invite you for more silence in the off-season.

By renting a room / apartment you have access to a common living room, dining room with kitchenette and garden.
Food varies with us depending on the season. In the high season (holidays and winter holidays), breakfasts are already included in the price of the stay, while in the low season it is possible to order them for an additional fee (PLN 40 per adult). Agnieszka makes sure that the breakfasts are nice and rich. Sometimes her mother-in-law helps her, who willingly shares her home-made products with guests, e.g. cheese.
If you want to rent the whole house, we can also offer you dinner in the form of a cold plate with more specific dishes (e.g. bigos).
Our two apartments - Barania Góra and Malinowska Skała - have their own kitchenettes. Guests from the rooms can use the communal kitchenette, but I will immediately warn you that it is small and insufficient to prepare a dinner. Each room has its own refrigerator shelf.
There are many restaurants in Szczyrk and you will surely find something for yourself. Personally, I have never been disappointed at Markowa Distillery and Gościniec Salmopolski. They also feed well in a newly opened place called Your Queue 2.0.
Szczyrk is a town for active people. There are a lot of proposals for activity here, but if you do not know the full potential of this place yet, let me introduce you to the subject better.
SKI SLOPES
Szczyrk Mountain Resort has a total of 23 km of ski slopes, and it is located only 1.5 km from the Przystanek. It is cheapest to buy a ski pass online in advance due to lower prices than at traditional ticket offices. In Szczyrk there is also the Beskid Sport Arena (3.9 km from the Przystanek) and the cable car to Skrzyczne from the Central Sports Center (1.0 km from the Przystanek). You can buy a pass for individual slopes or for all three places at once. Do not worry about the equipment - we have several rentals next door.
HIKING
There are numerous hiking trails around Szczyrk. From cool ideas for trips, I can recommend Błatnia, Klimczok with Szyndzielnia, Malinowska Skała or Skrzyczne. However, there are many, many more possibilities, if you also take into account the routes starting a bit further from Przystanek - not only those in the Silesian Beskids, but also in the Little Beskids.
SKI TOURS
If taking the cable car to the top and going down the slope is not enough for you, you can try skitouring. In Szczyrk, you can easily get the equipment, and even sign up for lessons with an instructor (contact Tomek from Skiturowa Chata https://www.facebook.com/SkiturowaChata/ or to the team from Skiturowych Beskidy https://www.facebook.com / SkituroweBeskidy /). From Przystanek you can ski directly to Skrzyczne and even further.
SPORTS ON THE ZYWIEC LAKE
Summer is a time not only for hiking in the mountains, but also for water activities. On the Żywieckie Lake, there are, among others, Dominika from the Banana school, who will take you to SUP at sunrise or in the moonlight. BIKE TRAILS
Do you know singletrack, or one-way bike routes? They also traveled to Beskid Śląski, and in addition, Szczyrk Enduro Trails allow you to get to the start of each route using the lifts. PARAGLIDING
Finally, something for people with more spirits and dreams of flying. In good weather, you can see many paragliders around Skrzyczne, because it is a well-known starting point. What’s there for children?
If your kids cannot stay in one place for a long time, I suspect that they will be great with us. In winter, take them on skis or sleds, in summer, hike in the mountains, tempting you with a fun adventure and apple pie in shelters.
