Here, in the wild heart of the Beskids, on the slopes of the Babia Góra massif, everything is more difficult than in the lowlands. We felt it during the construction of terraces for 4 tents, tearing off many claws on the stones. The tents stood on a meadow known as Dystoniówka. Because here, in Koszarawa Bystra, each niche, i.e. a mountain plot, has its own name. Ours comes from the word "dżystać", which means to argue or cleanse. However, it is not the strange name, but the place itself among ancient trees and good energy, which is often mentioned by the guests of our mollusiówka cottage (it is located several dozen meters away), that made us come up with the idea of mountain glamping. It was created to cut off from the world and be able to celebrate in harmony, preferably in a harmonious package of up to 10 people. At 700 meters above sea level you can sulk on civilization and achieve a state of zen in unlimited contact with nature. Here we are drowning in delight over shaggy cows, looking deer in the eye, wandering along mountain roads and wilderness, and in the evenings we warm ourselves in the warmth of a bonfire and succumb to the charms of a sky heavy with stars. We listen to the sounds of nature and the stories of the inhabitants of fourteen farms in our hamlet, collecting and saving them diligently so that they are not forgotten. Our forest asylum can bring shelter to the overstimulated, it can become a location for humanist weddings, intimate weddings, workshops and meetings. Especially in a duet with our wooden hut. This is where you open your mind to new things: sometimes experiences, sometimes life paths. Check out what Molusiówka will open you up to.

Adrianna i Jakub
Hello, this is Kuba! I have been associated with Molusiówka since October 2004. I remember this date well because it was the first time I came to Molusiówka with my 2-month-old son. The previous owner of the house brought us in his off-road vehicle and I immediately knew this was my place! We have started a long, expensive and arduous renovation, the effect of which you can see today. You could say that our children grew up in this house because we spent every free moment here. We went to the river, built huts, went on mountain trips and organized parties for friends. After some time, we bought two neighboring cottages, which we are renovating as best we can. My passion is collecting the stories of the inhabitants of Molusiówka - what it was like to live here, what the customs, rituals and culture were like. I have been a professional photographer and entrepreneur for over 20 years. I ran a company that produced photo sessions and film productions. Some time ago I chose a change and I help our son Leonard explore the world, I run our farm and, together with my mother, I am preparing a house for you. I am also a lover of wooden architecture and ethnography, as well as constantly trying to figure out what else to do in Molusiówka. And it's me, Ada. I've traveled around the world, I've lived in 5 different countries, but in Molusiówka I found my place and now Osada is my world. Although my education is in philosophy and coaching, I work in the film and photography industry every day, so to maintain balance, I plant, prune, support, compost and dig in the ground, preferably with my bare hands. I read with passion, which can be seen on the Molusia shelves, which are regularly filled with new books. Together we are parents, fans of camper travel and good books. When we come here, we live as we always wanted - close to nature. We collect mushrooms, blackberries, bear's garlic, we set up an orchard, we go on long and short mountain trips. We are creating the settlement for people like us - those who long for silence and detox from everyday overstimulation, lovers of unhurried contact with nature.

Welcome to the wild heart of the Beskids, on a real mountain glamping. You won't experience hotel comforts here, but the views we have here, combined with the peace of mind, are of the luxurious kind. Molusiówka is a mountain hamlet with a rich history and picturesque location. We are located in the Babia Góra massif, on the slopes of Jaworzyna, in the village of Koszarawa Bystra. At an altitude of 700 meters above sea level It all started with a wooden hut that stands behind a line of old trees. It aroused in us the desire for more and that's how we came up with the idea of mountain glamping surrounded by a rustling forest. We created it in the Dystoniówka meadow. It consists of 4 bell tents, several dozen meters apart, made of breathable cotton canvas. Two of them are 2-person and two are 3-person. You will not experience hotel comforts, but unlimited contact with nature compensates for any shortcomings. In the interiors there are: comfortable inflatable mattresses, carpets, hangers and baskets for storage and lanterns that build the mood in the evening. When you leave your tent in the morning, there is a chance that you will meet hairy cows or deer that came from the forest for breakfast in the meadow. Nearby there is a shed with two functions. It is a kitchen and an integration room for hanging out together, playing board games (they are on site) and swinging on a suspended swing. At the back of the shed there are two shower cabins, powered by hot, running water - an additional attraction is the view of the stars above your head, because the showers are not covered. The toilets are compostable, covered with sawdust and, most importantly, with a view of the ancient forest. The tents are equipped with warm blankets-sleeping bags and stoves for gas cartridges (gas cartridges are additionally payable, but you can bring your own). You can take warm clothes and your own sleeping bags with you, especially if you plan to arrive outside the peak of summer. We rent glamping only in its entirety, so that you feel completely at ease here and can spend time with a selected group. This is possible in two options: - Exclusive, - including the cottage The cottage and glamping rented in a package give the possibility of overnight accommodation for a group of up to 20 people. We will be happy to host workshops, meetings, trainings or we will become a place for an intimate wedding, preceded by an outdoor wedding in the slow style. In addition to renting our place, we can also help with organizational issues. Due to good neighborly relations, we do not rent our Settlement for grand events. If you want to experience the atmosphere of our glamping in a smaller group, let us know, we will try to come up with an option for you!

Everything you feel like and what your belly rumbles about, you can prepare in the space of the common room combined with the kitchen, located under the shelter. Our hits are: scrambled eggs with chanterelles or pancakes with blackberries and black coffee. We have the opportunity to prepare breakfast baskets for you, let us know if you are interested. Sometimes we will be able to prepare bear's garlic pesto, breads, tinctures and all this can be bought from us, if only it is available. For fresh bread, go to the bakery in the village (open even on Sunday), for country eggs to Mrs. Stasia, and for the rest of the shopping, go to the shops in: Koszarawa, Przyborów, Jeleśnia, Żywiec or Sucha Beskidzka. We are located near the "Silesian Tastes" Culinary Trail, where restaurants serve traditional regional dishes, prepared according to old recipes. It is worth a try! In our opinion, outdoor meals taste best, which is why the common room is open. You can also light a fire, sit and eat as much as you want.

Even the overnight stay in tents located on the mountain slopes, 700 meters above sea level. is an extraordinary experience. Communing with nature is unlimited here and takes place in the group of your favorite people, because we rent glamping exclusively to you. And with it the experience of being cut off from the chaos and noise of the world and the luxury of being in a state of undisturbed peace. Here you will be completely offline, although only 1.5 hours by car from Krakow and Katowice and 45 minutes from Bielsko-Biała. Meetings with hairy Highland Cattle cows and deer emerging from the forest in the morning await you here. We also have a family of dormice and a hooting owl. We have prepared for you a space for a bonfire, a common room filled with books and board games (with a table for games) We hope you like walking and climbing, because you are in a place that is exceptionally conducive to mountain tourism. Our favorite destination is the nearest peak - Jaworzyna, from which there is a beautiful view of Pilsko. - If you direct your steps to the east, the path will lead you to a river with a footbridge and a mini-bath. Going further, you will reach an asphalt road, which can be used to reach the Klekociny Pass, the Beskidek Mountains and Zawoja. – If you go west, you will reach the hamlets of Kotrówka and Mrowcówka, as well as Przyborów. – In the south there is Jaworzyna and the hamlet near Jałowiec. – To the north, Lachów Groń, from which you can admire a beautiful view of Babia Góra. – Going straight down north and passing Mr. Wawrzek's house, you also come to the river. This is a place with a beautiful waterfall, above which there are rock ledges. We call them a natural jacuzzi, which is great during the hot summer (in some places it is deep enough that you can sit freely and cool your hot body). If you feel like going on longer walking routes, we leave a list of recommendations. 1. Zamolusie: this is the next hamlet you will reach by heading east (i.e. continuing the way you came here). After passing a few farms, the road ends, but don't be discouraged, you will surely find a forest path that will lead you to Zamolus. Just don't go too far down or go up too much, because the path is more or less at the same height all the time. It is also an alternative way to get to the church. Interesting fact: Zamolusie is already in the neighboring commune - Przyborów, which is a bit strange, because Przyborów is on the other side of the mountain. 2. Kotrówka: you have to go back the way you came. After crossing the meadow called Dżystoniówka by the oldest highlanders (the name comes from either arguing or indigestion, we won't go into it) you turn slightly left to enter the forest path, which leads on a constant level. You come to Kotrówka (it will be on the left), and a bit further, behind the stream, to Kalikówka. Even further is Mrowówka. In summer and autumn you will find plenty of mushrooms in this area. 3. From Leonowa Chałupa in the "center" of Molusiówka, you go sharply up, in the southern direction. On the left you pass a renovated house, and after a few turns you come out into an open space: this is Torgosowa Polana. Going all the time to the south (uphill) looking for forest paths, you will take a shortcut to the top of Jaworzyna and maybe you will be able to find a clearing, where there is a beautiful hamlet of Pod Jałowcem, with one of the last huts covered with an original wooden shingle. Suggestions of tourist routes: 1. Molusiówka - Kotrówka - Cerliska - Jaworzyna - Pod Jałowcem - Molusiówka (duration: 1.5-2 h). 2. Molusiówka - Jaworzyna through the Pod Jałowcem hamlet - Polish-Slovak border (red trail) - Mędralowa - Klekociny Pass - Koszarawa Bystra - Zamolusie - Molusiówka (duration: 3-4 h). 3. Molusiówka - Koszarawa Bystra - Zagroda pod Halą - Lachów Groń - Beskidek - Klekociny - Zamolusie - Molusiówka (duration: 2.5-3 h). 4. Molusiówka - Jaworzyna - Mędralowa - Babia Góra - Markowe Szczawiny - Mędralowa - Koszarawa Bystra - Molusiówka (duration: 12-14 h). The routes are arranged in loops, they can be combined, extending your hikes. We recommend you the application: Mapa Turystyczna, which allows you to control your location, as well as plan and save routes and search for tourist trails. It is worth coming to us with bicycles, we have very pleasant trails and bicycle routes here. One of the most attractive cycling centers in the region is Zawoja, where there are singletrack Babia Góra Trails (20 km of trails of varying difficulty) and dual pumptrack (jumps and a training path for beginners). You can reach Zawoja by taking a shortcut through the Klekociny pass, but only if your car has a 4x4 drive. If you get bored with the nearest neighborhood, you can choose: – to the Żywiec Brewery, the Brewery Museum, the Old Castle in Żywiec and the Żywiec Museum, – to Golgota Beskidów (Matyska Hill) or Barania Góra, – to the lakes: Żywieckie and Międzybrodzkie, – to the Zimnik Valley, – over the Mosorczyk Waterfall, – to the viewpoint on Skrzyczne, – to the Żywiec Ethnographic Park, – in Hala Barankowa you can see spring and summer sheep grazing. Here we will stop for a moment, recommending you to visit us in May. It is then, on the occasion of redyk, that you can watch the ritual of mixing sheep, i.e. forming one herd from animals belonging to several people. This folklore event is always organized on Saturday and aims to promote sheep farming in the Żywiec region. If you like adrenaline, you can try your hand at paragliding. On Góra Żar, you can fly with a pilot in tandem. In winter, it is worth taking your skis and going to Korbielów, Szczyrk, Węgierska Górka or Mosorny Groń.

How do I get there?

Our address: Koszarawa 742a, Koszarawa, Żywiec Beskid Mountains, Poland

Translated by Google Translate.

You pass the church in Koszarawa, turn right near the school to Koszarawa Bystra. About 1.5 km further you reach the bus stop Koszarawa Bystra and exactly at its height turn right onto the bridge. You drive up the asphalt road, turn left into the 1st bridge. You drive out of the forest into a large clearing. The first houses in the hamlet, on the left side below the road, with red roofs - this is our Settlement. Above the house there is a small parking lot allowing for 2 cars, but be careful on rainy days, it is slippery and quite steep. In winter, we leave our cars in the upper parking lot, 50 meters from the house, the exit directly to the house is often impossible. The entry will be facilitated by the 4x4 drive, but it is possible to enter with a 1-wheel drive, but it is better to put a slightly more experienced driver behind the wheel.

Bus: Koszarawa Bystra (1 km)

From the Koszarawa Bystra bus stop, go up over the bridge on the opposite side of the road. On the next bridge, turn left off the asphalt into a forest road. After leaving the forest, on both sides we have a fairly steep clearing, and behind the clearing the first buildings begin. Our houses are the first in the hamlet, located on the left side below the road.

Train: Jeleśnia (12 km)

You have to catch a bus to Koszarawa Bystra. In the off-season, this can be quite a challenge.
