Live in a yurt for a short time or longer. It is already well tested, because our friends lived there for 3 years. Yes, the yurt was their home, good or bad, hot and cold. It is insulated with sheep wool and recycled material. It has a goat that, after throwing in just one piece of wood, will raise the temperature inside to 25 ° C. 5 people will sleep here comfortably. On the bed on the mezzanine above the kitchenette, on a fold-out futon (very comfortable) and on a single fold-out armchair. The yurt has everything you need for a comfortable rest - bathroom with shower, kitchenette, wardrobe. We don't have wifi or TV but there is LTE coverage. We carry out the project in the spirit of less waste - tomorrow is used, second-hand equipment - e.g. a historic wardrobe with Zakopane decorations from 1937.

We have a stove with 2 burners and an oven on site. We took care of a set of dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, cups - so that you can prepare your own meal. On site you will find spices, tea, coffee and even hot chocolate. The kitchen has a fridge. In the area you can buy local products - oscypek, eggs, honey. The mountain shelter, where you can buy oscypek, bundz or żętyca, is a few hundred meters from us, on the way to the Knurowska Pass. And the other one, but most of you, will pass it anyway. Going to the yurt, on the road between Nowy Targ and Krościenko. He's standing near the road. That's about 10 minutes before the yurt.

We like Podhale very much. There is simply everything you need to relax here. We are a wall behind spending time actively, and here we have Czorsztyńskie Lake, the Gorce Mountains, the Tatra Mountains, warm springs, bicycle routes, beautiful canoeing trips under our noses. In winter, we love ski tours. When the weather conditions allow, we choose the Tatra Mountains. We put on skis and go, for example, to Murowaniec or along the ski slope to Jaszczurówka. And when there are three avalanches, we safely go to Turbacz. You can rent skis in Zakopane, Nowy Targ, Białka and Bukowina. If you don't mind the crowds of skiers, it's only 15 minutes from Kotelnica. The largest ski resort in Poland is located in Bukowina Tatrzańska. And if you prefer to watch Kotelnica from a quiet distance, just go in front of the yurt, because from here you can see the entire mountain and the most beautiful panorama of the Tatra Mountains. In summer we jump on the bikes. The beautiful scenic route starts just outside the yurt. It is a poviat road leading to the Knurowska Pass, then through Ochotnica Dolna and Górna to the Dunajec, then along the Nowy Sącz - Krościenko road back to the yurt. At the foot of our Cyrnowa Góra, there is the most beautiful mountain route in Poland, Velo Dunajec. We envy those who have not yet had the opportunity to pedal around the Czorsztyn Lake. It will be a delightful experience. Man does not live by bicycle alone. So we jump in the kayak too. We are not fans of rafting on the Dunajec River, but the same route in a kayak is different. I have been kayaking in Canada and this canoeing trip is comparatively interesting. It's worth remembering that this is a mountain route, so you need to know some kind of paddling. When the water level is higher, after rainfall, the current is strong, but when the water is low, it is calm. We also highly recommend renting a sailboat and swimming on Lake Czorsztyn. If you have a patent - great, but without it, you can rent a sailboat with a helmsman. The lake is in a valley so nice reflective winds blow here. And the reservoir is really interesting, because where would you have the opportunity to sail around two castles on a sailboat and admire the mountains from the deck. Now, a hint on how to have a cookie and eat it. If you want to relax in the warmth of Term Chochołowskie, we recommend going there during the week and in the evening. From 19:00 to 20:00 there is a cheaper evening pass. People like medicine, and the thermal baths are open until 22:00, so you will still have a lot of time for swimming.
