There are places where the list of attractions goes on like a fudge. This is not that kind of place. Sielskie Rybie is rather the end of the border and a blank spot on the tourist map. There is mainly nothing to do here, with breaks to admire the local gems of wooden architecture or walk along empty paths.
My 8-person house, to which I invite you, stands alone in the forest, with a large flood as the closest (and only) neighbor. It's a new building but with an old soul. You will not find shives or boring masks in it, because most of the furniture is recycled or handmade. The lack of an official address did not prevent the installation of optical fiber, so you can come, bury yourself in blankets and start the series marathon. You will be greeted with the keys by my mother Lucynka or my brother Sebastian, who live a few kilometers away. They know everything and everyone, so they are always there to help.
drop by! Even the most overzealous boss will not find you here on L4.
The ground floor of the house is an open space with a separate bathroom. The living room smoothly flows into the dining room, and the latter into a small kitchen. Upstairs there are two bedrooms with eight beds on five beds (three double beds, two single). You can relax in the living room by the goat, on the terrace or simply on the grass. The furniture you will find on site is, for example, a renovated carpenter's table, a handmade sink, a reclaimed bathroom cabinet and beds designed to a specific size. All unusual and custom.
The plot is fully fenced and the driveway can accommodate up to three cars.
As it happens with independent houses in the forest - food or lack of it, I leave primarily in your hands. For my part, I provide a fully equipped kitchen in a timeless vintage style. There are several restaurants in the area, but don't expect door-to-door delivery. Such charms of escape from civilization :)
If you are interested in tasting local products from friendly hosts, let us know before your arrival. Not everything is always available - because, for example, hens are on strike, hams have not yet been smoked, and cows prefer to think about life over giving milk, but I will try to organize something for you in advance.
Please, get bored at least a little! Do all those things that today's world calls doing nothing. Stretch your legs on the grass, barricade yourself on the terrace, eat breakfast for 3 hours and watch the changing clouds with a blade of grass in your mouth. You can go fishing in the retention reservoir behind the fence, get lost in the forest. There's no rush, the world will wait.
From unhurried ideas, I can also recommend you:
- cycling (there are no official trails, so all directions are allowed),
- riding serpentines over the village of Izdebki and taking a look at the local manor house,
- entrance to the Church of All Saints in Blizne (inscribed on the UNESCO list as one of the most valuable objects of wooden and sacral architecture in Poland),
- climb to the top of St. Michael; a legend is connected with this place about saving the inhabitants from the Tatar invasion in 1624, and a picturesque chapel was erected here to commemorate this miraculous event,
- listening to a talkative guide from the Museum of Historic Cars in Jasienica Rosielna,
- the delight of the so-called An organist from 1866 in Blizne (what a beautiful building!),
- walking along the historical and didactic path following the buildings of Brzozów-Zdrój, i.e. the former health resort,
- seeing 250-year-old yew trees in the Kretówki nature reserve,
- drive up to Kombornia and drive along the scenic road at the top of the village; once you are there, you can see the so-called Lost Rocks, a small Three Waters waterfall and a view from the tower; there is also a vineyard on the way,
- dodging between 20-meter-high rocks in the Skalne Prządki reserve.
And if you don't always have time to go to the hairdresser or beautician, you can visit the Beauty Studio in Brzozów, which I own :) For guests of the house I provide a 10% discount, just call and make an appointment.
What’s there for children?
The house has no facilities or security for especially small people, so I invite children at least of preschool age. There is a swing and a sandpit in the yard, board games are waiting for you at home. The plot is fully fenced.
What’s there for employees?
We may be at the end of the world, but the optical fiber is flying like crazy.
