At a glance

When you take the gravel road away from civilization and you manage to choose the right direction at the fork in the road, you will find yourself on the edge of meadows and an old forest. You have arrived at Studio Burdąg - a farm that exudes peace and good energy. You will be greeted by silence, the sky painted with clouds and sunsets, and our female dog, Szajba, wagging her tail. The studio is full of life most of the time: there is a place to work, make new friends, talk about life and a lot of emotions. But there is always a moment of silence. Due to the fact that we rent Burdąg for the organization of workshops, over the years we have hosted many extraordinary people here and we have seen really different things. From the experimental choreography that started it all, through bonfire rituals, acro yoga, swimming in our pond, to the directing course.

The owners of Studio Burdąg are Olga and Janusz Stokłos. When in the 1990s they bought a neglected post-German farm, no one expected that a creative workhouse would be built there. The current shape of the Studio is the result of many years of their efforts. Olga and Janusz come from time to time to rest or work, and we - the team - live in Burdąg a bit out of time. And we invite our guests to do so. Here you will be able to take a breath and spend a few days in harmony with nature, the season and sunrises. Each of us cares about Burdąg and its energy in our own way - we would like to share this place with you.

We are on-site, we give our guests space and intimacy, but we're always ready to help

I'm the manager of Studio Burdąg, originally from near Krakow, and a social worker by training. I found the studio thanks to one of the workshop groups, which I nurtured with food. From day one, I fell in love with this space – with the theater of clouds in the sky, the warm, life-giving energy of Studio Burdąg, the most beautiful mornings, sunsets, and breezes. I've been connected to the studio for five years. At the studio, besides serving as manager, I nurture with food, which I create with love, heart, and a personalized approach to each group. This unique place is co-created by my irreplaceable women-rockets: Beatka, Justynka, and Asia, as well as Krzysztof, who takes care of the studio's space and garden. Together, we set the tone for the vibrant heart of Studio Burdąg, nestled among fields, meadows, and forests. Every dish, every bite, and every moment at Burdąg has its own story – they nourish the body, soothe the soul, and allow you to connect with yourself. We invite you to experience this peace and warmth for yourself.
