There is a place in Mazovia where all my loves meet: art, fashion and Polish design. It was here, to a small town called Rynia, hidden in the middle of Mazovian meadows and forests, that I moved my inner cosmos. I have invited numerous artists, both Polish and Japanese, to cooperate, and the house itself is seasonally open to the public as part of cyclical shows organized in cooperation with popular galleries. I hope that in the presented work you will find inspiration for your own, unlimited contemplation of life.
Hawrot Home favors intimacy. Four people can comfortably fit in two bedrooms on the mezzanine. The project was based on my experiences from the pandemic, so in spite of them, the space at home is maximally open, devoid of divisions and shortening the distance. A spacious terrace and a pine forest around the house invite you to relax.
There are almost no separate spaces in the house - on the ground floor there is an open living room with a kitchen, and winding stairs will lead you to the mezzanine with two bedrooms and an extraordinary bathroom. Unusual, because it is separated from the bedroom only by a glass wall and a curtain referring to the Japanese shōji tradition, designed together with Angelika Markul.
Anyway, the whole decor of Hawrot Home encourages you to get acquainted with art. You will find here e.g. ceramics by Malwina Konopacka, furniture from The Good Living manufactory, sculptures by Wojciech Ireneusz Sobczyk, porcelain vases marked by the Japanese master of calligraphy - Biho Asai and lamps by Michał Korchowiec.
The house is heated by a heat pump and has underfloor heating, thanks to which it is very cozy even in winter.
Before arriving, take into account that there is a long way to go to larger grocery stores and interesting restaurants. However, a well-equipped kitchen, open to the living room, can give you the courage to cook on your own.
If you want to be pleasantly surprised, come to Mińsk Mazowiecki, where chef Paweł Bęś pampers your taste buds. Iggy Pizza, run by a local enthusiast of Neapolitan flavors, also receives very warm opinions.
The house is surrounded by a private forest. A hammock is swinging between the pines, a bench is standing, a grill is glowing. It is a beautiful place for a quiet contemplation of life, reading (and/or writing) books, walking barefoot around the garden with a cup of morning coffee in hand.
The area is best explored on foot or by bike. Forests, fields and meadows, cut here and there by rivers, are waiting to be explored. If you want to take a break from hiding in Rynia, you can go to the Pamirek stable in Cygowo for horse riding or go fishing in one of the nearby ponds.
What’s there for children?
We invite guests from the area 6 years old.
What’s there for employees?
The house was created out of love for creative thinking, so working here is pure pleasure and easy. In a large open space there is a wooden table overlooking the forest. Right next to it there is a comfortable sofa, from which you can listen to the silence while sipping hot coffee and watch our pine forest. On warm days, we recommend ventilating your mind and taking the best from nature, working at the terrace table.
