Dear guests, welcome to the kingdom where the joy of life is complemented by good food and wine! Behind the mountains and behind the valleys, on the edge of the fields and near the Podyjí National Park, we opened our small family hotel.
It all started more than 20 years ago, when we came across a wonderful lady - a century-old First Republic villa. It's hard to put the magic of this place into words, but we've been home here ever since. And we decided to create a home for you too. Cozy, full of comfort, where you can let off steam and pick up steam.
If we had to describe ourselves in two words, it would definitely be cooking and wine. Of course, we like to eat good food and even more like to drink good wine, but... it's also a bit the other way around... We like to host, we like to delight your senses with great food and we like to pour good wine into your glass.
And that's why here, at our place, we lovingly cook and bake all the goodies from local food for you. The air here smells of fresh bread, herbs, wine. If you are a gourmet, come, we can also boast a gastro award. But believe us, the most beautiful award for us will be a delightful smile on your face. We will offer you delicious berry juice to accompany your good meal, and we firmly believe that you will find "yours" in our collection.
So to sum it up - for gourmets, for those who simply like to eat well, for wine and beer lovers, for families and couples... we open the doors of our family hotel with a smile to all of you and we look forward to seeing you.
You will sleep in a great place. We can even boast of the fact that our small family hotel won the Pension of the Year and Gastro Pension of the Year awards twice in the Czech Republic. And how does it look here? You have to see for yourself, but we'll tell you...

FALL Asleep IN AZ
We present to you the oldest place where it all began - the villa of the first republic. We have renovated it, restored its century-old staircase and in the attic you will find cozy rooms dominated by the colors of the wood, the earth and the view of the garden.

FALL Asleep IN BÉC
Believe us, Béčko is no Béčko. It simply came into the family second in line. This house is located on the edge of the garden and right next to it is a children's playground. The rooms here have three beds, but a fourth person can easily fit in them. They are ideal not only for families, but also for couples.
Otherwise, when we were looking for a place for this house, a dowser helped us. And he found it really well, because even he himself didn't want to leave this quiet place. Will you try it? ;)
FALL ASLEEP IN A COOL
Okay, and Céčko is our little boy. He was the last to join the family business, so he is the youngest. This house has modern rooms for four people. Those hidden in the attic also have a smaller kitchen for preparing drinks or heating smaller meals. Those on the ground floor have a separate bedroom and a large terrace with its own space in the garden. Rooms await not only families, but also couples.
GARDEN & Whirlpool
Here, the garden is the icing on the cake... although it is definitely fighting for first place with the housewife's kitchen. The houses are surrounded by a carefully maintained garden. One with a heart. And there are corners, paths, trees... You can hide wherever you want, wherever you want, and rest blissfully.
And did we mention that there's an outdoor hot tub waiting in the garden?
p.s. We also welcome dogs - but they need to be reported when booking and they are for a fee (look at the price list).
Our cuisine is what we are rightfully proud of. So if you like to snack, if you like to moisten your mouth with a good drink, don't think twice and come to us. Our love of cooking and hosting can only be surpassed by our love of wine.
LOCAL FOOD & WINE
My wife Andrea is the queen in the kitchen. And under her skillful hands and the baton of inventive taste buds, you have something to look forward to. We are lucky to be surrounded by fertile countryside and can host you with what our neighboring farmers have grown and raised. Look forward to eggs from local hens, honey from bees from nearby hives, herbs straight from our garden or summer organic lemonade with refreshing water straight from our well.
Look forward to freshly baked crispy and fragrant bread, buns like grandma's, homemade pâté or spreads. Add a creamy roasted celery soup with croutons, a delicate almond dessert or a cinnamon-scented apple... If you're salivating like a race at this point, know that it's only the beginning...
Add wine to it. With us, it will look like you have discovered a treasure island - we have more than a hundred types of wines from renowned Moravian winemakers, so you will have plenty to taste. We searched for and tasted the wines ourselves, and we believe that we have chosen the best. Did you say you prefer beer? No problem, the golden juice awaits you unpasteurized or that from the small private brewery Bítov made exclusively from Czech ingredients.

- We ask you to order breakfast and dinner already when booking.
Yes, it may happen that you don't know the program of your stay yet, or you don't want to commit to a time commitment, you have a gluten-free diet or other dietary restrictions, or maybe you just don't know what food to order for your children. We will be happy to discuss everything with you upon your arrival at the guesthouse reception.
- We can deal with gluten-free and lactose-free diets. We also prepare food for vegetarians and vegans.
- The guesthouse restaurant is only open for staying guests from 6:00 p.m
- We will expect you for a 3-course dinner from 18:00 to 19:00
- On Sunday, the day of rest, our evening restaurant is closed. But you can still have a glass of wine or good coffee here :)
We have two options for you.
The first is that you simply stay with us. You will find your own corner and stretch out on a deckchair. With a book in hand or a glass of Moravian wine... We'll leave that up to you. You can also relax your body and mind in the outdoor hot tub.
Another option is to go for a wander around the area.
You can walk with a backpack on your back, but you can also rent bikes from us. And we'll add a few of our tips:
- Podyjí National Park - the only Moravian national park. On the Austrian side, it adjoins the Thayatal National Park.
- Šobes vineyard - you can visit it on foot or by bike (approx. 45 or 20 minutes from the guesthouse). A beautiful place and the opportunity to taste local wine right in the middle of the vineyard. The microclimate here is said to be similar to the microclimate in the Rhine and Rhone region, which are famous for their fantastic wines.
- you can also go to one of the 23 viewpoints hidden in the national park (e.g. Sealsfield Stone high above the bend of the Dyje River).
- there are also a number of cycle paths in the park
- be sure to visit the royal city of Znojmo with the town hall tower, St. Catherine's rotunda, but also one of the largest underground labyrinths - the Znojmo underground, go under the majestic cathedral of St. Mikuláš and admire the Paradise Vineyards or go all the way to Loucký Monastery.

In any case, there is really a lot to choose from here. If you want, we will be happy to advise you and help you in compiling your daily program, and if you need it, you can also buy current tourist maps of the area from us.
We are baby-friendly and proud of it. Come to us when you need to switch off as a couple, but feel free to take your children too. We are equipped to meet you with everything you need (e.g. potty, bathtub, step, etc. - more information about renting and prices can be found in the price list). It's a delight for all little climbers and rock climbers. But also for the older ones.
Outside, an unexplored world awaits you in the form of a garden, where it really lives. Observe our feathered friends, try to find out where the hedgehog is hiding, or watch the butterflies and bees with bated breath.
Of course, we also have an outdoor playground with a sandpit for children and a toy box is available in the restaurant.
And one more thing, when you want to walk, we recommend you to go to the Goat Farm. In our opinion, such a walk with a goat on a leash is better than anything else :) But you can still see if the hens have laid any eggs and carefully collect them in a basket, or even learn how to milk the goats.
