Northeast of Warsaw, in the forests between Tumanek, Świniotop, Samotrzasko and Kokoszczyzna, the Liwiec River is plump. Near its banks, almost at the very end of the village of Łazy, there is a wooden house. For 30 years, he has bravely hosted the next generations of my family, and now he will also host you. Inside you will find e.g. A 2-person bedroom, a separate study room and a living room with a fireplace. Don't be surprised by unusual decorations - mom brought them from all over the world, so they would tell you more than one story smelling of pepper and vanilla.
When you come here - in an intimate group of friends or with a loved one - loosen your ties, wave goodbye to the pace of Warsaw and shake off professional labels. That's the best start. In the next stages, I encourage you to go out on the surrounding paths, wandering around like puppies. Some will lead you to the meadows, others to the river, and still others a bit nowhere. In the neighborhood, you can also go kayaking or craft workshops.
I invite you to a house with a veranda and a view of the forest, right next to the historical border of Podlasie. You can even with the biggest dog. See you!
In the house you will find a spacious living room with a fireplace, a separate kitchen, and on the first floor a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom and a study with a sofa bed. An additional place to relax is a covered veranda and a garden with fruit bushes. We are adjacent to fields, groves and only one house, so you don't have to worry about the lack of privacy.
At the moment, the keys are handed over by a friendly lady from the area, but I plan to introduce the possibility of using the locker with the code.
I warn you in advance that due to the steep stairs without handrails, the house is not comfortable for the elderly - or at least that's what my grandparents think :)
The cottage has a pretty well-equipped kitchen - with a coffee machine, stovetop, grill and a spacious fridge. Note: no oven!
From the restaurants in the immediate vicinity, I recommend "Huśtawka" for burgers, pizza and drinks. For fans of ramen and sushi, "Shima Sushi" is right next door.
You don't come here for great attractions, but rather to catch your breath after life in the downtown rush. Therefore, I recommend you to take walks along the Liwiec River (bathing is also recommended), kayaking on the Bug River and riding bicycles in the forest.
Nearby are also some of the largest heaths in Poland (look for it near Mostówka), an interesting ethnographic museum in Kamieńczyk and the Łochów Palace and Farm. As non-palace guests, you can take part in local craft workshops, where I sometimes appear myself (for details, please ask at the palace reception).
So you can see - with us it's slow, intimate and unhurried.
What’s there for children?
We invite you with children, just remember that we have steep stairs without handrails, the youngest may need help in climbing them :). You must take any unbreakable bowls, bathtubs or cots with you from home.
What’s there for employees?
We provide you with wi-fi and an office with a desk to work. Just remember that despite the good antenna, it is a house in the middle of the village, the internet is available and netflix/internet browsing/email downloading works, but with a larger video conference or downloading a large file, it can sometimes be a problem... For creative work or thinking about these issues, for which never has time conditions are perfect. The view can only be a little distracting...
