Apparently, it was in the loggia of the lower apartment that Gomułka liked to sit down with a cup of coffee the most. In the 1970s, just after he was removed from power, he spent his holidays here every year. “All he needed was mushroom soup and white cheese,” recalls Mr. Stanisław, who worked at the center as an intendant and hunter for several decades. A cow was brought especially for the First Secretary so that there would never be a shortage of fresh milk. The government recreation center in Łęgucki Młyn welcomed dignitaries of the Polish People's Republic for several dozen years, and it was the only property on Lake Łęguty that had the best conditions for this. 7.5 ha of area with private access to the lake, its own, historic, 150-year-old hydroelectric power plant, three villas. From a certain point, there was also a wooden holiday house made of Siberian pine, a gift from Nikita Khrushchev, brought from Russia in parts.

We won't have cows for you - at least for now. We can offer you a stay in a completely new version of Łęgucki Młyn. With reverence and respect for the design of the era, but with our own idea of how to relax comfortably, we restored the interior of the center. We filled them with the design we love: there are iconic designs and new ones worth your attention. And in these sophisticated spaces enlivened with a pinch of color, you, in your favorite group, may be there. We invite you to yoga workshops, integration trips or work holidays. We are also available for family reunions, birthdays and weddings. We will welcome you in comfort and extraordinary surroundings - there is nothing around except forest and water, and part of the property is located in the "Ostoja Beaver Refuge on the Pasłęka River" reserve. Something tells us that you will have as much rest here as party notables. We are opening a new chapter.

We are not on-site, but friendly help will look after you

The events we organize have always received good reviews from our friends. We decided to turn our experience into a place where we can invite guests. Kasia has always been professionally close to design and aesthetics, and Julek closer to technology and special tasks. We hope that you will also enjoy our hospitality and attention to detail. We lived in a concrete world for a long time, but one day we made a spontaneous decision to move to Warsaw. Life outside the city inspired us to go even deeper into the world of nature. When we visited Łęgucki Młyn, we immediately fell in love and started renovation. Together, we have created an ideal location for group meetings, yoga or sports camps. With attention to detail, we are constantly improving this unique place.

How do I get there?

Car

  • Our address: Łęgucki Młyn 1, Łęgucki Młyn, Masuria Region, Warmia Region, Poland

  • From Warsaw, the journey takes about 2-2.5 hours, taking the S7 route. We recommend driving through Ostróda if you prefer a more comfortable route. On the other hand, a more atmospheric ride along the alleys is possible when you choose the exit from S7 to Olsztynek, and then turn at the exit in America (Olsztynek Wschód) to Morag. Unfortunately, this road is quite potholes, especially in the other direction, which means that you have to watch out for oncoming cars. From the Tri-City, it also takes about 1.5 hours to reach the S7. This time also the exit to Ostróda and in Podlejki turn left to Łukta. When you cross Pasłęka, the property will be on the left (big green gate). From Olsztyn it will take 25-30 minutes (the road to Ostróda). We have one place for charging electric cars, which is located next to one of the buildings. It is an external contact with a single-phase voltage of 230V, powered by alternating current (AC). Unfortunately, we do not have a charging plug and we leave this to our guests. The price for this service is settled on the basis of consumed kWh.
