I found our habitat by accident, following a map, or rather Google Maps. In the satellite photos I was looking for a large overgrown farm, surrounded by a forest, possibly without a large density of neighbors, and my friend Dorota and I went to the place. I was looking for a large barn, she was looking for an old house. Once there, we made a tour de village headman to see if the habitat we had spotted was for sale. Usually there was no plaque. Only the locals knew what and who was selling. Less than half a year of reconnaissance trips have passed and we have found the ideal. And only an hour from Warsaw.

Dorota took care of the house, and I started renovating a large barn, and that's how Là Oborà was created - a space for family and friendly relaxation surrounded by half a hectare of land. We have everything you need here. Silence, meadows around, a huge terrace that can become an outdoor cinema, space for children to play. You can simply come for a holiday with a large community center, organize development workshops or celebrate in an intimate way. We operate from May to September and during this time we will help you plan the trip of your dreams. We invite you.

Là Oborà is a brick barn that is part of a large habitat. We have over half a hectare of land around us.
Inside you will find 50 square meters of living space. It's a large room with a fireplace, beds and sofas. Two double beds covered with curtains. In front there is an 80-meter terrace where you can eat breakfast, watch movies and relax. Inside there is also a 130-meter room where various creative initiatives can be carried out (e.g. intimate celebrations or workshops).

There is also Bliska Wioska in the habitat - https://slowhop.com/pl/miejsca/3467-bliska-wioska.html - a 100-year-old house for 8 people, which you can additionally rent if you would like to come here with a larger team.

We recommend it for family trips, because the large room is perfect for playing, and our area is large and there are attractions for the youngest in the form of a wooden house and a trampoline.

Even if you don't come to us with a specific plan and schedule, you can have a great time here. And creatively, of course. There is a stage, microphones, large speakers, a projector and a screen. Maybe you'll prepare a karaoke night then? Maybe you can organize a spontaneous stand-up open mike? Or theater improvisations. And certainly summer cinema on the terrace! This is a must-see. You can also lounge on deckchairs, swing under trees on hammocks, eat fruit straight from the trees, practice yoga, relax by the fireplace, go out to the forest for a long walk and come back for evening dancing. Because who will stop you from organizing a dance in Obora? Oh, no one.

We also invite you to relax - our living space has a unique atmosphere, and with a large room at your disposal, you can feel at ease and invite your friends or family for an evening or rest together during the day.

You can drive 2 minutes to Wkra and there you will find a kayaking paradise. We go there mainly to swim. There is a sign that this is private land, but it belongs to the owners of the kayak rental company, who make the beach available to everyone. There are a lot of people on holiday weekends, but during the week it is pleasantly quiet.

In autumn, you can pick fruit from the orchard and bake with cinnamon. We have walnuts, apples, pears, blackberries, raspberries, grapes (a lot), currants - red, black, white and gooseberries.

You can organize great birthday parties, workshops, or class trips for children. Walking in the forest, a trip to the Wkra River, art workshops, a performance in our theater (we have a stage with a curtain), an evening bonfire and, of course, a summer cinema on the Obora terrace. There is also a wooden house exclusively for children :) We have tested that families can spend wonderful time here.

If you are looking for a place for remote work in a group or workshops an hour from Warsaw, you've come to the right place. We have work tables for up to 50 people in the common room in Obora, we have a projector, screen, speakers and microphones.
We even have a stage for evening performances. There is a place to spread yoga mats if you want to relax after work in groups and a large garden for summer integration.
