Hi! This is Jagoda and Maciek. We invite you to the Bieszczady Mountains, to the picturesque village of Lutowiska. From scratch, from the proverbial nothing, we built here with our own hands, beautifully situated Zagroda Magoda with a view of the mountains. The homestead consists of several wooden huts located on a large, over one hectare plot. Two cottages: Magoda and Bojkowska welcome tired wanderers, thirsty for rest and exhausted by work, in need of a reset from everyday life, nature lovers, peace and quiet. The third, Wołoska, is our home.
We have open doors for you, comfortable rooms, fireplaces, soft sofas, a large library, the most beautiful view from the terrace in the Bieszczady Mountains. Shed for yoga or various thematic workshops. We also have delicious meals made of rural products, a good word and humor. Who are we and who will feel at home with us? We are always ourselves and we are certainly not infallible. We like to talk, talk about the Bieszczady Mountains, and we know a lot of interesting stories. We also like to listen. We like to take care of people, cleanliness at home and ecology. So if you are looking for a place where you can reset yourself in silence, under the starry sky, forget about your troubles for a moment, move your stagnant body, calm your thoughts, spend time with other people who respect your needs and privacy, then it is very possible that we are for you. In return, we also expect respect for us and our pets, other guests and a place that will take care of you.
In Zagroda we have two houses for rent - Chata Bojkowska - for exclusive use and Chata Magoda with 5 rooms. The third house is occupied by us - the hosts and our dogs and cats.
Chata Magoda - we rent rooms in it, you can also rent it in its entirety.
The cottage has a large living room (60 m2), with a fireplace, comfortable sofas and armchairs, a table for 12 people and a media corner (music player, TV screen, records), a tea and coffee corner (different types of coffee and tea, kettle, water tap, chopping board, cutlery, plates, cups, sugar), a fridge with a freezer, recycling bins and containers, a library with books about the Bieszczady Mountains, guides, maps.
The cottage also has 5 rooms with bathrooms:
- Sunny for 2 people,
- Anieli for 3 people, preferably parents plus a child,
- Chinese for 4 people,
- Cat for 3 people,
- Fifth for 2 people.
The bathrooms are equipped with: shower, sink and toilet, hair dryer, towels (1 bath towel for each person and 1 hand towel for the bathroom. It is possible to use additional towels for an additional fee), hotel soap, shower mat, toilet paper.
The house is made of wood, so we warn you that wood "works" with air humidity, the floor creaks and the doors may be easier or harder to close. This is not due to a construction defect but to the characteristics of the material.
On our premises there is Chata Bojkowska for exclusive rent: https://slowhop.com/pl/miejsca/5500-chata-bojkowska-w-zagrodzie-magodzie.html
Our dogs and cats live in Zagrodzie.
If you want to come to us with your own pet, dog, cat, rabbit, guinea pig or stick insect, you are responsible, as everywhere, for their behavior and safety. Please clean up after the dogs, report any damage, take care of the animals so that they do not pose a threat to others and do not disturb other people in their rest. The owner covers the costs of any damage caused. Please bring your pets' favorite bedding because we do not agree to sleeping in bedding. If you forget to bring a bowl for food or water - no problem, we will gladly lend you one.
We do not agree to leaving dogs alone in the rooms for a few hours. We do not "watch over" dogs in the absence of their owners. We have our own activities.
We love animals very much, but if you have a behavioral problem and your dog is aggressive or noisy, take into account that other people want to rest in the cottage and choose a time when you will be the only guest in the cottage.
In the Magoda cottage you can count on tasty meals. Breakfast, which is included in the price, is served on a buffet basis and everyone can eat what they want. On the table you will find: various pastes, cheeses, meats, vegetables, herbs, homemade jams, bread, butter and every day a different egg dish. Coffee, tea, water.
Dinners are served in hours agreed with guests, on request (i.e. if you don't say you want it, it won't be). Vegetarian meals are possible, if you do not eat a certain product - please inform us.
There is a kitchen in the Bojkowska cottage, so you can prepare meals on your own or use the catering (tasty and cheap home and regional dishes). The kitchen has an oven, electric hob, fridge, dishwasher, sink, as well as pots, plates, cutlery, coffee maker.
At any time of the year, we recommend:
- from spring to autumn, bicycle routes await cyclists, in winter cross-country and downhill routes are available for skiers,
- Konkret cinema in Zatwarnica,
- open-air museum, museum of icons and collections of works by Zdzisław Beksiński in Sanok,
- cemetery in Lutowiska,
- ecomuseum around Lutowiska,
- visits to the galleries and studios of Bieszczady artists,

- the possibility of buying Bieszczady products (wicker, honey, preserves, tinctures),
- an indoor swimming pool in Ustrzyki Dolne or in Czarna (SPA),
- observation of stars in the Bieszczady sky (shows and workshops),

- outdoor horse riding,
- Bieszczady narrow-gauge forest railway,

I have very good news for dog owners visiting Bieszczady. Three routes have been made available in the Bieszczady National Park, which you can go with your dog without paying a fine:
- the route from the Wyżniańska Pass to Bacówka near Mała Rawka,
- routes in the San Valley from Tarnawa Niżna to Dźwiniacz,
- from Bereżeki and Nasiczne to Przysłup Caryński.
These are beautiful scenic trails.
In addition, we recommend routes outside the Park:
- to the Jeleniowaty peak in Muczne and then to the highest observation tower in the Bieszczady Mountains - from here there are beautiful views of Bukowe Berdo and Tarnica,
- hiking to the Sine Wiry reserve, * to Małe and Wielkie Jasło from the side of Cisna,
- to the top of Korbań with a lookout tower - here you can see Połoniny and Lake Solińskie from above;
- trail to the top of Dwernik Kamień - my favorite.
- walks around Lutowiska, e.g. to the Otryt range,
- Hulskie reserve,
- a cave in Rosolin,
- Gołoborze reserve, Rabego valley,
- Duszatyńskie lakes,
- from the pass over Roztoki to Okrąglik and Jasło,
- to Lopienka,
- to the Jaworzec Shelter.
And many others.
What’s there for employees?
There is wi-fi in the yard, in the living room in Chata Magoda you will find a large table and peace to work, and if you prefer to work in the bosom of nature, a comfortable terrace will be the best place. The cottage is a guest house, so the common space is shared and you can meet other guests in it. In the summer it will be more crowded, in the gray and white months it will be quiet and peaceful.
