We'll be honest with you: we don't have marshmallows here. Besides, we have a lot in common with Bullerbyn. We have two charming blue houses with white details (rented in a duo), green, safe space and plenty of ways to feel like the heroes of Astrid Lindgren's novel. Although, looking at the faces of our little Guests, we get the impression that Lisa, Lasse, Bosse and their friends could envy them a bit the attractions available in Joniec. In addition to the rural idyll and the first-degree encounter with nature, we have here a space for master chefs in the mud kitchen, a water dam for the curious and those who love water, a house-hideout on a hill, from where you can zip-line, a base for lovers of hiding places and a secret passage through the wardrobe between rooms.
If you feel like starting the day by sliding down in pajamas for breakfast, you will have such an opportunity with us, because one of the houses has a real slide from floor to ground floor. And you will do it regardless of whether you are 5, 15, 35 or a little older. Because our inner children are taken care of as well as the real ones. We also take care of adults by warming them up in the sauna, swinging in a hammock, and above all, giving them space to breathe, rest and break away from parental struggles. Sometimes preceded by surprise that the youngest run into space in the morning and it is difficult to find them when it's time for dinner. Sometimes it is also difficult to move somewhere further, but if you find yourself on the other side of the fence, go to the river, visit the alpacas and try the supposedly best ice cream in northern Mazovia.
Drop by the Wkra river, at the end of our village located just over an hour from the capital. Joniec Świat works well for children and adults.
We have half a hectare of green and fenced area and two houses that we have created to ensure a blissful rest for small and large. We dreamed of a paradise for children and decided to create one in Mazovia, in the village of Joniec located on the Wkra River, just over an hour away from the capital.
We rent houses in a duo, encouraging you to gather a group of friends or family and come here in two teams. You will have freedom in your house (to sleep as much as you like and cook whatever you want) and space to spend time together.
In each cottage you will find:
– two bedrooms (one with a double bed, the other with two single beds for children),
– a living room with a sofa bed,
– a kitchenette connected to the dining room,
– a bathroom with a shower,
– washing machine,
– a spacious and covered terrace.
One of the cottages also has a slide! It is specially prepared for us, certified and has a load capacity of up to 150 kg. You will ride with her from floor to ground (for example, in pajamas for breakfast).
Joniec Świat is a friendly place for small and medium-sized dogs.
We are believers in the idea that the kitchen is the heart of the home. The ones in our houses are bright, open to the surrounding nature and functional. We also made sure that they are safe for children.
On the equipment you will find everything you need to be able to conjure up any dish that will arise in your children's imagination (and yours too!). You will be able to prepare pancakes, pancakes, tomato soups and bake cakes and cookies. As for less typical equipment and accessories, you will find: a colander, a juicer, several heat-resistant dishes, a baking mat, a toaster and a blender. We have also not forgotten about the oven and dishwasher.
We have a special space for a bonfire surrounded by wooden benches and a grill (on your side there are briquettes and kindling).
Every Saturday in Joniec there is a market (it lasts until noon) where you can buy products from local farmers.
If you want a break from cooking, in Joniec (about 1.5 km from us) there is a bar with homemade food (nicely located on the Wkra river), a pizzeria, several grocery stores and craft ice cream that will satisfy the most capricious palates.
No one is bored in Ion of the World. Unless he wants to! Our plot and the immediate vicinity are greenery that is pleasing to the eye and the Wkra River, one of the most beautiful rivers in Mazovia, located 50 meters from us.
Most often, the situation with us looks like this: in the morning, children run out of the house, and only around dinner time do you have to bring them back (usually in various ways). And adults have time to indulge themselves or (if their inner children wake up, which definitely happens here a lot) participate in children's games.
Our terraces are large enough to allow you to drink coffee, read, do a yoga session and even work from them, if necessary.
We also have for you:
– sauna,
– deckchairs,
– hammocks,
- place for a bonfire and barbecue.
Mushroom lovers will be pleased. There are a lot of porcini mushrooms, butter mushrooms and boletes growing on our plot.
You can take a walk over the aforementioned Wkra, go to the beach (very pleasant, sandy and with a gentle descent to the water) or admire it from the perspective of a kayak (the rental is very close). There is an old mill nearby, which you can sail past. The proximity of the river means that we often have morning fogs that turn the space into a magical land.
There are places to run and bike in the area, so if you are fans of two wheels, take them with you.
It is also worth visiting the village of Joniec with your family, especially for delicious ice cream.
What’s there for children?
What can I say, we are crazy about children and have created a place here with attractions for the youngest. It allows them to play and experience freely, giving parents space to stay with each other and moments of breath.
In the interiors we have prepared:
– a children-only base (with pink and blue light),
– a whole lot of toys, board games and books,
– a secret passage through the wardrobe between the rooms.
– accessories that facilitate everyday functioning: children's cutlery, bibs, stools, overlays, non-slip mats in the shower.
One of the cottages also has a slide from floor to ground floor.
And in the field:
– a water station with dams, trapdoors, troughs, connectors, a hand pump and gate valves (the station is eco-friendly, it has a closed circuit based on water from our deep well),
– a large mud kitchen – we like mud, if you a bit less – we have external showers to rinse it off,
– a 30-meter zip-line,
– a house on a hill, ideal for observing herons that cross the sky (you can zip-line down this hill),
– hidden tunnel,
– swings,
– trampoline.
The area is large and safe, ideal for frolicking from morning to dusk. The plants we planted on the plot are harmless to children and the little ones can freely use them to play in the mud kitchen.
Be sure to bring your wellingtons!
We have also prepared a car for riding and a ladder stroller, which will be perfect for transporting children or the whole yard on the way to the beach by the river (12-minute walk). A kilometer from us there is a kayaking base from where you can go rafting. The least demanding route will take you 2 hours, but you can also go on an adventure lasting 6-8 hours.
You must know that the sky is of the first beauty with us, and the stars are clearly visible. To be able to watch them up close, we have a telescope for you. In summer you can see the Milky Way from here.
While staying with us, it is worth coming to the workshops and visiting the herd of alpacas in Popielżyno Dolny. The place is run by a true enthusiast (search under the name Alpakasia). You will also meet there: dogs, cats, chickens, pheasants, ducks, several types of parrots and other birds. There is also a horse farm nearby.
