In Ublik, near Lake Buwełno, in a green clearing among moraine hills, unbridled thoughts wander. Sometimes they will inspire you to get up at dawn to rush through the flower meadow to the pier and fix your sleepy eyes on the sunrise. Other times, they will fill you with the need for a bicycle trip through the Masurian wilderness. In the evenings, they usually slow down to make room in their tired heads for contemplating nature from the terrace. On another day, they will guide you to a hammock or encourage you to sail to Buwełno by kayak, SUP or boat. And it's quite possible that out of nowhere they'll come up with the idea of swimming in the lake. Your thoughts can have even more initiatives here, because we have done everything in our power to make your rest with us comfortable, carefree and freely. The interiors of two houses, which grew in the meadow like mushrooms after a heavy downpour, and just like them look as if they were part of the landscape, we filled the interiors with eye-pleasing design, old furniture and a large window on nature in the living room. Because it is nature that plays the first violin here.

It's simple, idyllic and good with us. Just like that, because Ublik is a pleasant experience.

There are two houses in the clearing - one gray, the other white. We designed them so that the architecture, referring to the Masurian tradition, harmonized with nature - moraine hills interspersed with blue lakes. The houses are surrounded by hectares of meadows, fields, forests and kilometers of wilderness. The peace and quiet that you will experience in the clearing, located far from the neighbors, can only be disturbed by cranes from the nearby reserve and storks coming for dinner.

In each of the interiors you will find:
– a living room with an open kitchen, a goat and a wide bench by a large window facing nature,
– a separate bedroom with a 180 cm wide bed and a balcony window that allows you to go out in the morning to the grass full of dew,
– a bathroom with an open shower (walk in type),
– an open mezzanine with two single beds (90 cm wide), accessed by stairs (mezzanine height is 180 cm).

Both houses have spacious terraces for sunbathing and sitting. There are wooden tables with benches on them, a swing hangs, and deckchairs are waiting.

Although there are two houses, they do not look into each other's windows. They are surrounded by 70 ares of clearing. They stand near the black house Ublik Green & Black, but each of them is separated from each other and located so as not to interfere with each other's parade and not to disturb the views.

There are about 300 meters of a flower meadow from the houses to the lake. Because that's what we have here, we don't disturb the natural landscape and we don't fence off the space. We give nature what it deserves, and it repays us with the views of wild animals that stroll through the clearing stress-free, delighting the eyes of our Guests. There is a good chance that from the windows of the house or terrace you will see a herd of roe deer, elk or wild boar.

We focus on simplicity, minimalism and good design based on natural solutions, without plastic and excess colors.
The interiors are cozy and thoughtful. There is a lot of light, some old furniture, natural fabrics and lots of comfort.

In each of the houses there is a fully equipped kitchenette with an electric hob (with two burners), a dishwasher, an under-counter fridge, a Dolce Gusto coffee machine, a kettle, pots and dishes. You can cook anything you want. Inside, there is an oak table for sharing the joy of shared meals, and outside, a wooden set - a table with benches. You can also use the place for a bonfire, which is located near the shore of the lake.

And if you don't feel like cooking and you want to take a holiday from the kitchen, we have our favorite restaurants in the area, which we will gladly recommend to you. Below you will find our subjective ranking. We started with our favourites. They will not only satisfy your hunger, but also pamper your palate and senses. They are also very diverse. From the regional flavors of Stara Kuźnia to a mix of Mediterranean, Polish and Asian cuisine, which you can try in Barka, included in the yellow Gault&Millau guide. However, before you go to the chosen place, check if it does not work only seasonally.

Ublik is a place on earth where we have a special playlist called "not doing anything". Here you will find only proven hits:

– greeting the day on the pier (you share it only with other Ulbik guests, because we have a piece of the shoreline of Lake Buwełno exclusively), during which you can count on an unusual spectacle of the play of lights and colors,
– lying on a private beach or hammocking right on its shore,
– admiring the sunny illumination from the terrace during the golden hour, with a glass of your favorite drink in hand,
– yoga and meditation on the pier or in the meadow,
– swimming in the lake or admiring the beauty of the landscape from the perspective of a kayak, SUP or a boat waiting for you on the spot,
– evening bonfire under the starry sky.

Our immediate vicinity is the villages of Ublik, Cierzpiety, Paprotki and Przykop. We have 10 km to Orzysz. The houses are surrounded by meadows, fields, wilderness and forests by the lakes: Buwełno, Wojnowo, Ublik Mały and Ublik Wielki.

For cyclists: a bike trip around the lakes, on small asphalt, gravel and field roads and discovering untouched, tourist and historical places (2 bikes per house are waiting for you on site, we will recommend routes suitable for every condition), our favorite trips are a ride to the atmospheric Stara Kuźnia restaurant, the port in Rydzewo, Śniardwy and further to Mikołajki.

For sea wolves: Cabin and berthless sailboats can be rented at many places in the area. You will find the most opportunities to catch the wind in your sails in Mikołajki or Giżycko.

For nature lovers: we recommend a trip to the Nietlickie Bagna reserve, a refuge for black grouse and cranes. The Piska Forest, the largest forest complex in Masuria, is also nearby. Deer, elk, wild boars, foxes, beavers, roe deer, hares, wolves and lynxes live in the surrounding forests. In the meadows you will meet capercaillies, storks and cranes.

For fans of holidays in the saddle: our favorite Ferenstain Stud in Gałków. It is professional, from scratch, for advanced, small and large. You can experience a gallop across the river, a trot through the meadows and a gallop in the paddock.

Unlimited space, nature lessons in the field and pleasant access to the lake await the youngest at Ublikowa Glade. Among the favorite attractions are: bicycle trips, boating to the other side of the lake (we have 2 rowing boats) or canoeing combined with bird watching (we have kayaks). The youngest on the shore build castles in the sand, look for crickets in the tall grass, run after butterflies and look for deer through binoculars. In the evening they fall asleep with a smile on their lips, and during the rain they are not bored at all, spending time watching books, racing cars and building cities with blocks.

Keep an eye on the little ones, because the area of Ublikowe houses is not fenced.

In each of the houses you can feel like in a private oasis of peace. There is a table with four chairs, which will be great as a workplace. We also believe that few of you have worked with such an idyllic view behind your back. We recommend using this natural background when calling the calle. No application will generate such effects.
