Na Jeżynowej Polanie

The house with a panoramic view of the Bieszczady peaks is located on the plot of our fenced forest nursery. In total silence and seclusion. We are the owners of the Dom Malowany guesthouse nearby. Dom Na Jeżynowej Polana is located 5 min. walk from it. It is surrounded by forests full of mushrooms, fields and flower meadows. The cottage has: – a living room with a fireplace connected to the kitchen, – dining room with panoramic windows, – a bathroom with a shower, - 2 bedrooms upstairs with 1 double bed, with 1 double bed and 1 single bed, – terrace 15 m², – private electric hot tub without outside limits (it will always be hot). It is possible to use the sauna, which is located on the premises of the guest house. The cost is PLN 200 for 2 hours. On the plot there is a place for a barbecue, which we especially recommend in the evenings. We are located near the Star Sky Park, an area devoid of artificial light pollution. This is one of the few such good places to observe the sky in Europe. It is close to the Bieszczady trails - directly from the cottage you will go out to Małe Jasło, Jasło, Fereczeta and Okrąglik.

We have such guests who say that they come to us only for breakfast. They exaggerate a bit, because we also have other nice things ;), but the fact is that the days are greeted first-class here. You will have to walk for 5 minutes to find out. to our guesthouse, where we will invite you to the dining room and serve you the best we have. We will serve you a selection of local products (cheese, meats, vegetables) and something hot, e.g. pancakes, shakshuka, Turkish eggs, omelette or other surprise. Eggs, you know, from our happy hens. And there will be cake. There is no way to start the day without a cake. Our yeast is said to be worth a special award in the plebiscite for the best yeast. We do not serve lunches and dinners, but a well-equipped kitchen will be waiting for you in the house, where you can prepare meals. We encourage you to use the benefits of nature around. In autumn, mushrooms will ask for your plates - you don't even have to go to the forest, you will find them in front of the house. We have boletes, geese, Bieszczady red bucks and even kites, from which you can make a real woodcutter's cutlet. In the summer, you can pick blueberries and make pancakes stuffed with them and whipped cream. There are also blackberries growing on the fence on three sides of the plot - take your jars and make jams with the addition of wild strawberries, which you will also find behind the fence. We recommend wild herbs growing here - mint for mohito, St. John's wort supporting digestion, nettle improving the condition of the skin, hair and nails. We all know why people come to Bieszczady. If you love the local trails and views, you will be enchanted by the area where our guest house is located. And if you are asking what we recommend, we would definitely send you: – To Małe Jasło – along the trail that runs right next to our house. It is unmarked, so we will direct you. This road is a real berry paradise, so in the summer prepare yourself (practically and mentally) for a bountiful harvest and eating handfuls of the bushes. You can also reach Jasło, Fereczeta and Okrąglik from us. – On a bike – because there are many picturesque routes in the area that will satisfy lovers of two wheels (ask us for details, we will tell you which way to go). - For observing the night sky. Our village is located near the Bieszczady Star Sky Park, which is one of the best places to observe the sky in Europe. There is no artificial light in the area that would be responsible for light smog. – In winter, skiing to Kalnica – a slope with beautiful views, located 5 km from us. It will be perfect especially for beginners, because it is not steep. – On an expedition along the trail of wooden Orthodox churches in Bieszczady – before Bieszczady were annexed to Poland in the 14th century, they were part of Ruthenia. To this day, about 30 wooden Orthodox churches have survived, which the followers of the Orthodox Church built in villages. If you ever get the chance, be sure to visit the churches, e.g. in Smolnik, Chmiel, Bystrem or Michniowiec (this was the one who played in the series Wataha). – Lake Solińskie – in the season you can meet a lot of tourists there, but it is a beautiful lake that is worth seeing. Due to the windy conditions (high location), you can sail and kitesurf on it. There are many picturesque hiking and cycling trails around Solina. – On a trip on the Bieszczady Forest Railway – being in the Bieszczady Mountains, it is a pity not to ride this famous train, the history of which dates back to the end of the 19th century. You can feel a bit like in the Wild West in it and admire the Bieszczady valleys from the open wagons. It's a tourist attraction, but it has a lot of charm. And when you come back from mountain trails and other trips, you can just enjoy the time spent here, on the spot. Use the hot tub in front of the cottage (unlimited, included in the price) sauna in our guest house (PLN 200 for 2 h), have an evening barbecue, and on cool evenings sit by the fireplace. We like our guests here and sometimes we spend evenings with you. If you feel like company, come to the guest house, maybe we will be having a posiadówka. During them, we like to exchange stories. Sometimes such meetings lead to friendships and then you come back not only for those famous breakfasts.
