At the end of the road, where Google Street no longer reaches, there are two houses. They have a forest, a path to Klimczok and a million dollar view as neighbors. One is called Krańczówka Szczyrk - upper, and the other Krańczówka Szczyrk - lower. They were created for active people who are adventurous and believe that rest is about moving. And since half of our marriage grew up in Szczyrk, we tell you with our hand on the birth certificate: there are plenty of opportunities to spend free time here. To warm up, we throw out a few ideas: skiing - downhill and ski touring, testing bicycle shock absorbers on enduro routes and hiking with a backpack on mountain peaks.
In Krańcówka Dolna, we have designed two bedrooms - each with a double bed. Extra sleeping space is provided by a fold-out armchair, a travel cot and a large sofa in the living room. With this knowledge, judge for yourself in which configurations it will be most convenient for you to visit Szczyrk. You can take care of cooking yourself or try a different restaurant in the city every day. And there's plenty to choose from.
If you are looking for a place for an active holiday - you've come to the right address. We invite you!
There are two bedrooms upstairs. In one there is a double bed and a fold-out armchair, while in the other there is a travel cot and a second double bed. Additional sleeping places are in the living room on a large, fold-out sofa. The house also has a bathroom, an open kitchen and a small ski room.
There are only two houses on the plot itself - Krańcówka Górna and Dolna. The lower one, as the name suggests, is located slightly lower. However, you do not worry about the lack of privacy. We made sure that they did not stand wall to wall, and we also turned the terraces in two different directions so as not to look each other in the eye while resting.
If you need more space, you can also rent Krańcówka Szczyrk - upper: https://slowhop.com/pl/places/1541-krancowka-szczyrk-gorna.html
We give you the keys to Krańcówka and full freedom of holidays. At your disposal is a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, oven and other amenities.
If you don't feel like cooking, you won't be hungry in Szczyrk. You can order with delivery, take-out or eat in restaurants on site. The closest to us you will find the Huta Smaków and Bachrata Restaurants, and in the center at Beskidzka and Myśliwska Streets there is a different pub every step of the way.
When you reach the top of Klimczok, you can eat at the PTTK shelter. There and homemade dinners and cakes and beer and hot chocolate. You won't go hungry from Skrzyczne either.
What's that, no. Boredom hasn't been seen in the area for many years. If you visit us in winter, you will be in the ski center of Poland. Szczyrk has the most connected ski trails in Poland in one place. Almost 40 km of perfectly prepared trails await you. In Szczyrk itself, we recommend the Beskid Sport Arena, Szczyrk Mountain Resort, Skrzyczne COS, Szczyrkowski Ośrodek Narciarski, Solisko, Biały Krzyż ski slope. For skiers, we have a heated ski room for storing equipment. In addition, cross-country and Ski Tour trails. On ski tours, you can conquer Skrzyczne and admire extraordinary landscapes. You can rent equipment for winter hiking at "Skitury Szczyrk" on ul. Salmopolska 115.
If you visit us in summer, you will be in the best place in Poland for mountain biking. SZCZYRK ENDURO TRAILS BY TREK is probably known to every fan of 2 wheels! 13 km of specially prepared trails for the most demanding, plus a whole host of other trails for the less advanced. Even kids can try their hand at singletrack. You don't have to lug bikes, protectors and helmets with you, because you can rent everything on site. A little further, in Ustroń, we recommend the Czantoria cable car. Both for skiers and cyclists, so mountain bikers will be in seventh heaven. Also in summer, we recommend the local toboggan run in the gutter. You can climb the stairs to the observation tower and admire the 360-degree panorama of the Beskids and the view of the mountain ranges of Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Returning to our home turf, we recommend the beautiful hiking trails in the area: to Skrzyczne, Klimczok or Szyndzielnia.
Żywiec with its great Żywiec Brewery museum, Wisła, or Koniaków are also within reach of a short trip.
You can also stay there, enjoy the view from the windows and simply contemplate the surroundings - because this is an equally pleasant option. If you love warmth, there is also the possibility of using the sauna (additional service) with a magical view of the forest. Or make a coffee and sit on the historic chair that once lifted tourists to Skrzyczne. Now the gondola lift is ultramodern, and we managed to get a relic of the past. Now it is our guest on our terrace, and you can observe the forest and the surrounding peaks.
What’s there for children?
Snow in winter, spring and autumn, and in summer cycling routes, streams, looking for squirrels, roe deer and watching how fast clouds flow over the peaks. In addition, plenty of space to run, dig, collect stones for the fortress and walks into the unknown.
We ourselves are the parents of a small person, so naturally we wanted the youngest and slightly older ones to feel good at home. Therefore, you can explore the backyard area on foot or by making subsequent slides on a slide that fits into the landscape. We have also prepared a climbing wall for the brave little ones.
Take skis, sleds, or rent them on the nearest slope. Overalls, rubber boots, sand digging equipment, ball and board games will also come in handy. The house, forest garden, surrounding trails and ski stations are at your disposal. Go crazy as much as you can.
You have at your disposal: an additional cot for a small child (please inform us in advance if you need a changing table), a high chair, cutlery.
