Somewhere between Koszalin and Gdańsk, some 30 km from the sea, there is a village called Krąg. No one would have heard of it if not for the old legends full of trolls, counts and a castle that has been standing for 500 years. There are five lakes here, and one of them is perfectly round. There are forests around, green in summer, colorful in autumn and white in winter. It is as it should be. That is why we have built the Sauna Resort in this part of the world - Dom Krąg, Blue House and Yellow House.
These idyllic landscapes were disturbed by a concrete block, abandoned by the owners in the 1990s. The village was said to be haunted. He also scared us with his nightmarish appearance. However, we decided to take the glove, even though it was an extremely unsightly glove, and create something extraordinary. This is how the scarecrow was born Straszydło: a house with two independent wings, with space for up to 21 guests in total. Here the heart of an Ent beats, sometimes a mysterious eye shines, and colorful lights create an enchanted art installation. Throw in private access to the lake, two saunas and a hot barrel.
We invite you in spring, summer, autumn and winter. It will be a journey of diving into the water and sleeping in a magical house. Don't be afraid to survive it!
Straszydło Residence consists of two independent wings, each with its own entrance on opposite sides of the house. You can rent them separately or as a whole, opening the connector on the ground floor and thus gaining space for up to 21 guests. Straszydle is spooky and magic happens when you turn on the special lights and look at our artistic installations (...or they will look at you :) The walls are finished with clay, the furniture was made of, among others from the original scaffolding.
Wing from the lake (up to 14 people):
- view of the lake from the fireplace room, terrace, balcony,
- 5 bathrooms,
- 5 bedrooms (4 x double bed, 2 x bunk beds),
- a living room with a kitchen and a sofa bed (additional sleeping for 2 people),
- bath barrel,
- sauna and eyelet to cool down.
Tree wing (up to 7 people):
- 2 bedrooms (2x double bed, 1x single),
- a living room with a kitchen and a fold-out corner (additional sleeping for 2 people),
- bathroom,
- fireplace,
- terrace with barbecue.
The house is adapted to the needs of the disabled. Equipped with ramps, with some bathrooms and kitchens adapted for wheelchair users.
Each wing in Straszydle has its own, independent kitchen, open to the living room. They have all the necessary equipment that will make cooking even for a larger group of guests more enjoyable. You will also have access to a bonfire place, and guests from the tree wing - also to a barbecue.
A few hundred meters from the residence, you can buy honey from the local apiary or go for lunch to the castle restaurant. And the closer you get to the sea, the more choices there are to eat.
As Guests of Straszydło, you will have access to your own beach by the lake (shared only with people from the other wing of the house), green space around with a picturesque stream, a volleyball court and the so-called. magic garden. There is also a pier, a sauna on the lake, a boat and a kayak (this is already common to all guests of the Saunowisko).

Sauna built on the water with a view of the lake, giving the pleasure of cooling in it after warming up the body. In the version for walruses, it gives the opportunity to warm up after icy baths (in winter the lake freezes, so you have to cut a hole).

The tub is a wooden bathing barrel with hot water. The barrel is bubbling - such a jacuzzi :)
There are three more lakes within walking distance, the forest and the Grabowa river. A 200-year-old historic beech alley leads to Krąg, composed of over 400 old trees, it is the only natural monument of this type in Poland. The sea is just a flip - only 30 km drive and you are on the beach (Darłowo, Dąbki, Mielno, Łazy, fishing harbor in Unieście).
What’s there for children?
In Wing from the lake, kids are invited to Skrzacia Dziupla, our most magical bedroom with mushroom installations and colorful light. Sometimes a secret eye will also flash here... In the Tree Wing, an Ent awaits.
Outdoor entertainment is, of course, running around the plot, fishing, making sand cakes on a private beach and swimming in lakes. In the area of the Saunowisko there is a playground for guests from all our facilities.
What’s there for employees?
First of all - space! We have high-speed Internet, several desks, a large table in the kitchen-living room to work together. You can come to us for workation or organize workshops in a small group. Sauna and barrel after work/classes sounds like a crowning argument for coming.
