At a glance
The first to greet the new day is Alvaro's rooster. He collects his flock of chickens the way we collect fresh eggs every morning. Behind the fence, these actions are followed by the neighbor-sheep, and their unoccupied hands will quickly get a job scratching the shepherd dogs behind the ears. After this daily ritual, you can grab a sunbed, cross the meadow and hide from the world by the Czarny Dunajec river. Or jump into the mountains, because from Witów to the Tatra National Park it's a chamois jump. Just plan a break for sheep's milk ice cream in Dolina Chochołowska. If you are hungry, we send you to Tosia's cousin, who makes dumplings by hand on the other side of the street. We will also be happy to drop you local cheeses, colorful eggs and vegetables from our own garden.
We invite you to a house that used to be my father's carpentry shop. We arranged sleeping on the mezzanine on two double mattresses, so the arrangement is just right for couples, a well-coordinated group of friends or a small family. Kids, however, take a little older - such already in preschool age, because the stairs to the first floor can be a challenge for the little ones. For older children, we have prepared a playground and a lot of rural pleasures.
Come on, the sheep behind the fence are waiting to be cuddled!

Hi! This is Bogusia and Marcin. A good few years ago we left the place where we met. Loud, rushing, beloved Krakow and we returned to the Tatra Mountains. We found here views that you can't stop admiring and the space we needed so much. The days began to flow slowly, rural life entered our blood and the family began to grow. Wanting to share with you what's best here, the Lodge on the trail was created, and now we invite you straight to our backyard, to the Sheep behind the fence.
