The traces of Wytrzyszczka can be found where Tropsztyn Castle, Lake Czchowskie, where the Dunajec and the Incas are. Where did the Incas come from in a small village in Lesser Poland? – you may ask. In the eighteenth century, a descendant of the founders of the castle in Niedzica - Sebastian Berzeviczy, went to Peru, where he married an Inca Indian, with whom he had a daughter - Umina. Unfortunately, it was the time of the Spanish invasion of the Incas. So Umina, along with her husband Andreas Tupac Amaru II, fled to Europe, taking some of the royal valuables with her. Apparently, it was in the Castle in Tropsztyn that the treasure of the Incas was hidden after the death of the princess. It may be located in an underground tunnel dug under the Dunajec River, connecting the castle underground with the sanctuary in nearby Tropie. However, I do not recommend looking for it, anyone who dares will be cursed. However, in July and August you can visit the castle and admire the lake and the hills of the Rożnów Foothills from the tower. You can also take a ferry to the other side or paddle a section of the Dunajec river with kayaks. It's all within walking distance, bicycles or a car trip from the cottage by the forest. I built it for our family so there is a tree play area for the kids and lots of toys around the house. There will also be something for parents. I invite you to a place that is a seasoned tongue twister. To Wytrzyszczka, in the commune of Czchów, in the Brzeski district, near the Tropsztyn Castle.

My name is Guillaume (pronounced Gijom), I'm French, but I've lived in Poland for 15 years. As a child, I always built treehouses, so as a parent, I was looking for a place where my three children could have their own treehouse. I found the perfect place: a large area among forests, in the countryside. All that's left is to build a house in the treetops, and a few small things for adults too, e.g. a house ;) Unfortunately, we can't live in Wytrzyszczka permanently, so we decided to invite guests (and their children) to us while we work in Krakow and we don't have time for our holiday home. So we invite children to play and adults to rest.

The house stands on a half-hectare plot, so there will be plenty of places to rest. The terrain is undulating and has several zones: a fireplace and gazebo, lots of grass, part with an orchard, a garden full of blueberries and a forest with a tree house. On the ground floor there is: - hall with a large wardrobe, - bathroom with toilet and bidet, - a bedroom with a double bed (the one with the wallpaper), - a living room with a fireplace in the middle (children's corner under the stairs) and access to the terrace, - a large kitchen with a dining room, - stairs to the top. On the floor: - two bedrooms, each with a single and a double bed, - one of them has an additional reading chair and access to the balcony, - the second one has a play area for children and a blackboard wall. - on this floor also a large bathroom with shower.

Such views as from Wytrzyszczka and Tropsztyn Castle (which, contrary to appearances, is located in our village and not in Tropie) are hard to find. To Lake Czchowskie, to the charming Hermitage of Świerad and Benedykta and the hills of the Rożnów Foothills. It is worth going to the Castle, because you can see beautiful views, learn a bit of history, drink coffee. Unfortunately, it is open to visitors only in July and August. However, there are also other castles in the vicinity of Wytrzyszczka: in Czchów (6 km), Rożnów (5 km) and Melsztyn (16 km). It is also worth taking a ferry to the other side of the lake and drive or walk to the aforementioned hermitage of St. Świerada in Tropie. From there, walk to the source of St. Świerada, which is located in the forest. You can get to the spring by turning right past the cemetery, and then following the dirt road following the signpost. At the very end there is a small hill waiting for you, so a few minutes walk uphill. From the spring it is worth going to Skała Tropie. It is a great place for climbers, but also for walkers. Walking around the rocks, you can go to the top, from where there is a beautiful view. And from there it is a pity not to go to the footbridge over the Dunajec. It is worth going to Sucha Góra (8 km) for prawdziwki or bikes. Canoeing on the Dunajec to Jurków, where the rafting begins. For relaxation, wine and a delicious lunch or dinner, head to Winnica Nowizny. In Wola Kurowska there is a viewpoint on the Rożnowskie Foothills. The view tears you out of your shoes, even laced ones. To the north-west of Wytrzyszczka, it is worth going to the Szpilówka observation tower. The approach is easy if you follow the red trail. The tower is 30 m high, and from the top there is a beautiful view of the Beskid Wyspowy and the surrounding hills, and even Kraków or Tarnów. Approach time from car park B is about 40 minutes. What’s there for children?

The house was built for my family, so families with small (but mobile) children will certainly feel good here. We have a toy corner under the stairs where kids love to hide, and one of the bedrooms has a chalkboard wall, games, toys and books. There are no safety fences to the two bedrooms upstairs, so you have to keep an eye out for toddlers scurrying around. The biggest attraction, however, is the playground in the treetops. This is where your children will probably spend most of their time.

At home, you can work at the table between the kitchen and the living room or on the sofa at the coffee table. You can also, when the weather allows, go to the gazebo and there, with a view of the forest, answer e-mails. The house is best suited for a small group - up to 6 people or for a family with children.

Our address: Wytrzyszczka 150, Wytrzyszczka, Lesser Poland Province, Poland

Translated by Google Translate.

Access from route 75 and Tropsztyn Castle via a narrow asphalt internal road. The road is quite narrow and in several places rises quite steeply. The driveway to the house itself is quite steep.

Nasz pobyt w Wytrzyszczce był bardzo udany. Spędziliśmy w domu 5 dni w składzie 4 dorosłych i 3 dzieci.
