There are chalk undergrounds, there is a triad of cultures, there is even a local Bieluch Spirit. Anyway, the number of nearby attractions and bicycle routes will satisfy even Kosma Szafraniak (a bicycle ultramarathon runner). There are lakes - many lakes, there are national and landscape parks, there is Green Velo (1 km from us), there is the best trout bar and a local brewery to refresh yourself. Every afternoon, when guests come to our Siedlisko, it's time for summaries, and the results are posted on a special board. Maybe you can beat Radek: 124.8 km? Or maybe you will come to us from the other end of Poland, just like Bogdan, who drove 1000 km from Rybnik? There are plenty of possibilities. You can stay with us for a break on the route, you can use our Siedlisko as a base. Or you may not feel like getting on your bike at all.

Instead, stay where you are and indulge in rural laziness. Because despite the fact that our Siedlisko is located 10 minutes from the city of Chełm, it is a full-fledged agritourism. Total silence at night, crowing rooster Ignacy in the morning, fawning tomcat Sheriff. There are a few steps to the village shop to buy fresh rolls, and on the way you pass a stork's nest. There are hammocks, there is a place for a bonfire, there are fly swatters. And genetically satisfied hosts. We have four apartments on our farm, each with a separate entrance. They are all located next to each other. We, the hosts, live right next door, in a log cabin.

"Our place is a unique setting for hosting unforgettable events. A Western-style bouncy castle creates a unique atmosphere – from family gatherings, through company team-building events, to large themed parties. Everyone will feel like a character from a Wild West movie, and for the ultimate experience, we've also prepared Western-style hats – available to all participants." Each apartment has its own kitchenette and bathroom. And now, from the general overview to the details:

– The squirrel room sleeps 2-4 people and was our first. It has a double bed, a living area with a sofa bed (foldable) connected to the dining area and kitchenette. There's also a small bathroom with a shower. The high ceiling provides the spacious feel we're looking for. The kitchen and bathroom walls are decorated with 70-year-old brick laid by Michał's grandfather. An ant or mosquito might be present. A trap is provided.
– The buffalo room sleeps two people. You sleep on a comfortable fold-out sofa. There's a kitchenette, a table with two chairs, and a bathroom with two sinks and a shower.
– The warrior room sleeps two to four people. It has a private terrace and access to a hot tub. It has a bedroom with a double bed on the mezzanine (be warned, it can get hot in the summer) and a fold-out sofa in the living area. Opposite the sofa is the kitchenette, and there's also a bathroom with a shower. The apartment opens onto a terrace with comfortable furniture and a hot tub.
– The deer room sleeps two people. It has a double bed that can be converted into two single beds. There's a kitchenette and a bathroom with a bathtub.

The garden features a large playground, a hammock, a fire pit, a round table with chairs, and a large table in the connecting passage between the buildings for evening gatherings.

Create a hen party you'll truly remember

The Lublin region might be offended if they heard someone was bored. We have several national and landscape parks nearby, lakes, a unique spirit, and the best cycling routes. The Green Velo Eastern Cycling Trail runs a kilometer from us, and most of our guests arrive by bike or with their bikes.

Every afternoon, our guests boast about how many kilometers they've cycled that day. They often set a record, and we record their results on a special board. Maybe you'll be able to beat Radek's 124.8 km? Or maybe you'll drop by from the other side of Poland, like Bogdan, who came 1,000 km from Rybnik? Or, like Andrzej, Tomek, and Klaudia, you'll tackle the beautiful Zwierzyniec-Chełm route: 123.7 km? There are plenty of options. You can stop by for a break or use our Siedlisko as a base.

If you're a competitive rider, you can participate in the Kresowe MTB Marathons. Wojsławice, 31 km from us, made its marathon debut in 2021.

Of course, you don't have to be on familiar terms with your bikes. Polesie can be explored in various ways. We recommend exploring nature from a natural perspective. From Siedlisko, you can set off to:
– Chełm Landscape Park (10 minutes by car),
– Polesie National Park (40 minutes by car),
– Sobibór Landscape Park (30 minutes by car).

We've talked about forests, so it's time for lakes and reservoirs, because we have plenty of those here too. We're starting the ranking with:
- Dębowy Las Lake, in Wołkowiany, 15 km from us. It's quiet, you can swim, fish, rent water sports equipment (kayaks, pedal boats), play beach volleyball, fire up a barbecue with friends, go for a walk or bike ride around the reservoir, or just lie on the beach.
- Next, we recommend Glinianki Lake (4 km from us). There are crayfish in the reservoir, so the water is really clean. There are usually few people relaxing here, and in the summer, the swimming area is supervised by a lifeguard.
- If you're looking for the most developed recreational infrastructure, head to Zalew Żółtańce, 10 km from us. There's a lifeguarded beach on the lake, piers, food trucks, a beach bar, equipment rentals, and a playground for children. There's a bike path surrounding it. There's also an ice cream stand called Bielucha – yes, that Chełm-based brand of cheese with spritz.

When you're near Żółtańce Reservoir, you can stop by the local Jagiełło Brewery and grab some fish at Pstrągów. This pond-side restaurant has been family-run for 25 years. The menu is short and focused on trout. Fried trout, grilled trout with fresh herbs, trout in mustard sauce, fish soup, baked halibut, and fried carp are all fresh and excellent. You'll also find beers from Jagiełło Brewery there.

Since Chełm is just a stone's throw from the city, you can't miss it on your Lublin region tour. Several buses depart daily from Okszów to Chełm. The bus stop is next to the church. A quick guide to what's worth seeing, where to climb, and where to dive:
- On Castle Hill, it's worth visiting the Basilica, or more precisely, the bell tower, for a beautiful view of the city. A stroll through the park is also pleasant. Don't miss the Uściłuska Gate, the oldest building in Chełm.
- The Historic Chalk Mine, featuring the Bieluch Ghost, is also worth visiting. It takes about 50 minutes to wander through the underground labyrinth carved into the chalk rock, with a guide. The corridors stretch beneath the entire Old Town on several levels. Remember to bring warm clothes, as it's cold underground (9 degrees Celsius) year-round.
- You can get lost in the streets of the Old Town and look up at the interesting, if somewhat dilapidated, tenement houses. – It's also a good idea to take a walk to the Dyrekcja Housing Estate on Stephensona Street, built for employees of the District Directorate of State Railways. Beautiful houses and tenement houses, green surroundings, and you can stop for a coffee in the garden of the Chełm Cultural Center.
– You can also follow the multicultural trail. Although the Chełm synagogue currently houses a bar, you can learn more about the Chełm Jewish community at the Chełm Land Museum. Another testament to the multiculturalism of this region is the Orthodox Church of St. John the Theologian, which is still open today. The church, now closed, is the Church of St. Nicholas.

We cordially invite you with children. Our guests often come to us with children on bicycles and tour the entire area with them. For the little ones, we have a playground with a climbing wall, a sandbox, swings, a writing board, a slide and a zip line. There is also a trampoline, there are hammocks. Children can watch Ignacy's hens and rooster. Be sure to take the little ones to Lake Żółtańce. There is a guarded beach, there is water equipment for rent, there are food trucks and a booth with local Bieluch ice cream - yes, it's the cheese company.

In each apartment there is a table with chairs, where you can work comfortably and in silence. There is a round table in the garden for outdoor work. Another table is under the roof, in the passage between the buildings. Internet is good, however, if we have full occupancy and each guest uses the connection at the same time, the connection may be weaker.
