It all started with a buffet. And a shipping container. But as sometimes happens, plans change and you have to improvise. Although, when there is something you want to create and try, then half the problem is solved. In my case, it was the desire to change the container for living. Not just any uncomfortable or ugly one. But on the contrary. Since my hobby is design, I tried to draw it here, between these walls. But that's not all. Because I wanted to place the container in nature, I had to come up with an elaborate island system. So here you will be off grid, but be careful - you will have electricity and water here. Not only human ingenuity helps me in this, but also nature itself. The sun helps me with energy through photovoltaics on the roof, rain and snow with water, and the final point is a clever system that then turns it into usable and drinking water. So you will not be deprived of any comfort. Plus definitely add to that the views of the surrounding...

So where can you find us when you want to enjoy such a small escape into nature? Come to Hrabušice. You will be near the Slovak Paradise and with a view of Kráľova hoľa and the High Tatras.

What adventure is behind the whole container would be a long story. But at least I will tell you now that my father and a friend helped me with the conversion and the biggest challenge was to get it here, in its place.

The total length of the container converted into cozy and comfortable living is 12 m.
I dare say that you will find everything inside :)

On one side there is a living area with a kitchenette, a wood stove, a sofa and a TV, and at the end a double bed with a view through the large windows.
The second part consists of a bathroom with a corner bathtub, a chemical toilet, and from the bathroom you can directly access the Finnish sauna. From here you can also enjoy the view of the High Tatras.

As I mentioned at the beginning, the entire container is off grid, but with a carefully thought out island system.
We have electricity here, so you can safely watch TV if it happens to be raining outside.
Or take a sauna.

You don't even need to bring any bottled water to us. At least you will save the environment from unnecessary plastics.
Nature also takes care of our water. Whether it's rain or snow, every drop is caught in a container, where a special system cleans it and turns it into drinking water. No worries, everything is completely healthy and harmless. But if you are still stressed, I have a 20 l container of drinking water ready for you.

As for driving and parking - park your car on the side of the road in a visible place. And then walk the remaining 100 m to the tiny house.

Feel free to cook here, because I assume that when you move in the fresh air, you will quickly have frogs croaking in your stomach. You have a kitchenette with all the basic equipment at your disposal, you will cook on a gas stove and you will also find a refrigerator here.

If you want, you can pay a smaller amount for your stay and we will then prepare a basket full of goodies for your arrival. For example, with food for preparing breakfast and dinner, with champagne or something sweet.

And what would you like to do?
Try to think it through and know that you really don't need anything. So, if you feel that lounging is really enough for you to be happy, you will have:
- a sitting area with a view of the surroundings through a large window
- a wood stove when you just want to stare into the fire
- Finnish sauna with towels and sheets for the sauna - take as much sauna as you want and as a bonus you will have a view of the High Tatras ;)
- not that I want to draw much attention to it, but you can also find the TV here (Netflix access is included in the Lux package)
- admiring colorful sunsets with a wide-angle perspective - romance as if embroidered
- and when it's warm, don't hesitate to take out the blanket on the grass and indulge in lounging or a picnic under the open sky

Surroundings:
- during the warm months (April - October) you can also rent electric bicycles for the entire stay
- the closest you will have to discovering the Slovak Paradise, behind all its gorges, ladders, via ferrata and behind the Hornád breakthrough (5 km)
- if you would like to ride a horse, ask, I will direct you
- for a piece of history, you can go to Spišská Nová Ves, Levoča or Spiš Castle
- pack your skis in winter and head to Telgárt for a skiing trip
