We believe that our views from the window speak for themselves. However, if you are not adept at reading wave motion, we are here to help. Let's start with what is probably the most important thing in places by the sea: instructions on how to get to the beach. First: leave the house. Second: cross the road. Third: you are here. Even waffles from a home waffle maker won't have time to cool down.
This is basically where this description and walk could end (there is a beach, there are waffles, what more could you want?), but we will go a few steps further. And here are more little pleasures: a stable, a kitesurfing school, a stand with fresh fish, forest paths and views from the cliff. And within a radius of only 5 km. Even closer there is a sauna, two bikes and two SUPs for rent. Everything is included in the price of a stay in one of three apartments that we designed in Jaś's grandfather's house. Each of them has its own bathroom, kitchen, living room and bedroom with a double bed. Additionally, in Zielony Kamyk you will find a private garden, in Błękitny Velur you will find a large terrace, and in Biały Sęk you will find the best views of the Baltic Sea from the top floor.
They say that you don't need much to be happy: a little sand, sea and sky. You can find all this in Mechelinki, just 20 steps from the door. You can leave your car at home - you can get here from Gdynia by one bus. Come and see this view for yourself!
Biały Sęk Apartment - the best views
The apartment on the top floor of our house - this is where we have the most beautiful views of sunrises, waves and seagulls flying in the wind. The apartment consists of the main part (living room with kitchenette and dining room, bedroom, bathroom) and an unheated veranda with a view. It has a beautiful terrace facing the sea with an amazing view. Additionally, you can use the public (for all our guests) rear garden with a great place to relax in a covered patio with a seating area and a gas grill.
Zielony Kamyk Apartment - on the ground floor with a garden
Zielony Kamyk is a smaller apartment on the ground floor of the house. The entrance and windows are on the sea side, so the view just above the fence extends to the Bay of Puck. Additionally, it has exclusive access to a small garden. There is space for guests in the bedroom (double bed) and in the living room on a fold-out sofa. The apartment also has a kitchenette, dining room and bathroom. There is virtually no GSM coverage in this apartment, only WiFi. Additionally, you can use the public (for all our guests) rear garden with a great place to relax in the covered patio.
Blue Velor Apartment - the largest terrace
This is our largest apartment. It consists of a living room, kitchen with dining room, bedroom, bathroom, hall and an impressive terrace with a gas grill.
** Due to the fact that Co Za Widok is our family house and place of relaxation, this apartment is often excluded from the possibility of booking, because we enjoy its charms ourselves ♥
As for the famous Baltic crowds - Mechelinki, fortunately, somehow resisted trips in swimsuits. However, it can get a bit crowded in summer, so take that into account. In our opinion, the sea is the most beautiful outside the season :)
Each apartment is equipped with a kitchen and small amenities such as a waffle maker, an espresso machine, a toaster and a gas grill (the latter can be found in the garden or on the terrace).
We want to make your stay even more pleasant, so you will receive a basket full of variety and delicacies - these are different products depending on availability. You can use them to make breakfast, take them to the beach as a snack or eat them for dinner. We deliver the basket at the beginning of your stay, and in the case of a longer stay - every few days. Always something cool, tasty and unexpected :)
There are plenty of places to eat well in the area - from fish caught in the morning by local fishermen, to Polish cuisine, Italian pizza and delicious sushi. In the season there is a large selection of pubs, in the off-season there are only local taverns. Additionally, deliveries are provided, so you don't even have to leave home hungry on a lazy day.
In the apartments themselves you can make your stay more attractive:
- using our infrared sauna (no additional fees),
- playing available board games and reading books from the library,
- lying in the garden or on the veranda,
- watching a series on Netflix in the evening (although we naturally recommend watching The Baltic Sea).
When it comes to nearby sports attractions, we recommend:
- horse riding on the beach (stable with Gracja: 2.1 km / Dzikowy Skarb stable 2.7 km),
- kitesurfing (ALOHA school in Rewa: 5 km),
- paraglider (paragliding site on the cliff: 1 km),
- bicycle trips (two bicycles available free of charge on site),
- SUPing (two boards available free of charge on site),
- winter swimming (the local club swims every Sunday).
Cool ideas for trips? Here they are:
- a walk along the beach to the Rewski cape, which goes deep into the sea (approx. 10 km in both directions),
- climbing the cliff in Mechelinki (both ways approx. 3 km),
- walking around the Mechelińskie Łąki reserve and the Siwa Heron reserve (less than 1 km from us),
- going to the pier in Mechelinki (300 m from us),
- seeing the ruins of the torpedo house from the shore (approx. 10 km in both directions),
- drive to Gdynia (only 15 km), where you can, for example, climb the Orłowski Cliff, see the emigration museum and the Dar Pomorza ship.
What’s there for children?
We don't have any facilities for children: cots, high chairs, toys - nothing. Take this into account when planning your stay. Babies can sleep with you on a bed in the bedroom, bigger children will probably choose a sofa bed in the living room. But we do not hide that couples will feel best in apartments.
What’s there for employees?
We have fiber here so you can work remotely with a view :)
In Zielony Kamyk (the lowest apartment) phones do not have a range - only by the window you can "catch the field" and talk, so here we recommend resetting the phone :) Or connect the phone to WiFi and then you can go :)
