At a glance
Latosowo is an agritourism on the Bug, about which many things are said. It is said that here you eat what seems inedible and ask for second helpings. That animals - the wild ones and those completely familiar - you meet on every walk. And that there is no boredom, it is often heard. We both have ten ideas a minute. We do workshops on cooking weeds, we empirically show the difference between a tub and a Russian banya, we teach how to walk on stilts and we take nature walks around the area. We present to you our nutrias, rabbits, horses and goats. And above all: we feed, with passion and enthusiasm. We like to show you our flavors, the catalog of which we are constantly expanding.
We have a house with rooms and a little bubble house, but we still lacked something. We dreamed of a house with a decent stove, as it used to be. So that you can comfortably lie down on it with a book and wrap yourself in warmth on cold evenings. It's not easy to find a fitter these days, and the one we found, a 90-year-old, barely agreed: "Okay, last job." It wasn't the last one, we already know that.

We are city refugees who began our rural adventure in 2006 by moving to the Mazovian-Podlaskie border. The host is a zootechnician by education and is responsible for the animals in our Latosowo farmstead. The hostess is an archaeologist, and this is where our Latosowo passion for history and antiques comes from. We have 13ha of meadows, forests, we breed goats, rabbits, nutrias and chickens. We have two horses, lots of wild neighbours and beautiful natural surroundings. As parents of three children, we know that sometimes you need to catch your breath from the hardships of parenthood and recharge your batteries away from your offspring. This is the guiding principle in our Latosowo, a place for adults, without children but also without loud parties. We save all old things, big and small, from oblivion and give them new life. We like to eat a lot, necessarily tasty and healthy, which is why we grow vegetables, fruit and herbs. We also reach for local goods from nearby markets or from friendly farmers. Apart from hosting guests, we love travelling, from which we bring not only local spices, products, but also recipes, ideas for dishes, or trinkets home. We love cuisines from all corners of the world, so we experiment not only with Polish cuisine, but also Mediterranean, Caucasian, Russian, Czech and Far Eastern cuisine.
The host is an entrepreneur
