Latosowo is an agritourism on the Bug, about which many things are said. It is said that here you eat what seems inedible and ask for second helpings. That animals - the wild ones and those completely familiar - you meet on every walk. And that there is no boredom, it is often heard. We both have ten ideas a minute. We do workshops on cooking weeds, we empirically show the difference between a tub and a Russian banya, we teach how to walk on stilts and we take nature walks around the area. We present to you our nutrias, rabbits, horses and goats. And above all: we feed, with passion and enthusiasm. We like to show you our flavors, the catalog of which we are constantly expanding.
We have a house with rooms and a little bubble house, but we still lacked something. We dreamed of a house with a decent stove, as it used to be. So that you can comfortably lie down on it with a book and wrap yourself in warmth on cold evenings. It's not easy to find a fitter these days, and the one we found, a 90-year-old, barely agreed: "Okay, last job." It wasn't the last one, we already know that.

In the living room of the house there is a tiled kitchen, and behind it a stove like (our) dream. In addition to the stove, you will find here a comfortable sofa, table, books in the library, games and music equipment. There is also a small but functional and well-equipped kitchen on the ground floor. On the same level you have a fairly large bathroom with a shower, a hairdryer and a window overlooking the meadows, fields and forest. Steep stairs lead to the attic, and there are two bedrooms at your disposal, north and south - both with balconies, where you can drink coffee in peace, looking at the garden. The south bedroom has two sleeping places and the north three. ATTENTION! Mattresses were made to order and have sliders - so the beds can be single or double (then you don't feel the connection). There is also an additional toilet next to the bedroom.
We arranged the house in the style we love the most, i.e. retro. You will find here the charm of pre-war times, a lot of wood and atmosphere from the old days. We invite you to its thresholds throughout the year. Don't worry about the heat, the house is heated with a tiled kitchen, we will help with smoking and teach you what and how. There is underfloor heating in the kitchen and in the hall, and there are radiators in the bedrooms and bathrooms. Electric heaters are available if needed.
A word of explanation: Latosowo is a habitat that consists of our house (where we feed and rent rooms), Domek Bańczyk (where the Russian banya is located - it can be rented in its entirety) and the House with a zapiekiem. The house with a zapiekiem is located in the habitat, but it also has a separate garden space exclusively at your disposal. We live in another habitat next door. In the pictures you will see the road, don't worry - it leads to us and only to us ;) It ends at our farm and then only forest and swamp on rainy days. You will find peace and quiet here.

The house with a zapiekiem has a small but functional kitchen, so you can be culinary independent. There are basic spices, oil, tea, instant coffee and a little something from our pantry in the fridge.
However, if you decide to taste our specialties, we invite you. In our House with guest rooms we serve both breakfast and dinner. Since we operate in the kitchen alone with my husband - only for four hands - let us know about additional meals for you at least three or four days in advance. It is also possible to order additional small snacks during the day. However, we need to know about this at breakfast time at the latest.
You can also buy happy eggs, preserves, homemade cold meats or goat cheeses from us - subject to availability.
Around the House with a zapiekiem, there are 15 hectares of our farm with meadows, forests, charming corners, tunnels in a power willow plantation and a pond with an alder island. There is a place to walk, run barefoot after butterflies or have picnics. If you want to laze around and recharge your batteries without going too far, you can rest on deckchairs or a couch by the house, among roses, in the shade of a willow or in the sun.
For the more active, we will find bicycles and show you where there are interesting trails to explore. We can also organize additional weed workshops in the season, we will show you how to find edible wild weeds and use them in the kitchen. We will take you on a trip through the fields in a historic horse-drawn fire truck pulled by our fearless tractor, or in a ladder truck, at your discretion. There is also the possibility of extreme driving with our old fire-fighting beetle.
In the evening, we can invite you to a tasting of homemade liqueurs and distillates. In our habitat there is also an external, heated bathing barrel, hot tubs for couples and a Russian banya with the possibility of organizing summer "flogging", a type of massage with birch twigs performed by a bubble, so hedonists will leave here like new. Both the barrel, bathtubs and banya are rented individually by guests, also from our other houses, ask in advance about its availability, because first come first served ;)
Of course, we can also give you absolute peace of mind, if that's what you expect :)
What’s there for children?
As parents of three children, each of whom has a different temperament, we realize that there is such a desire to be among adults without the patter of small feet, sudden cries of joy or childish despair. That's why we have created a place for adults, we invite you without children :)
