This house was supposed to be like Olga Boznańska's painting. Lazy atmosphere, warm light, blurry chiaroscuro. It was supposed to do justice to the folk design of the Mazovian countryside. The cottage with the chimney finally had its age and during these 80 years of life it had seen its own. But he was also lucky with my sympathy for southern climates: inspirations from Spain, Greece and the desire for the sun made themselves at home here in a completely natural way. Natural as wood, travertine and linen creating a warm, rustic atmosphere of the Field House.

This house is on the river. Through the lush garden, where no one is eager to mow the grass, and in the wildflowers bees and butterflies have their urgent matters, you go to the beach. The beach is ours: small, private, intimate. It even has a gazebo with a hammock, and at home there are blankets and deckchairs that you can take under your arm for sleepy relaxation. Lazy Liwiec somehow imposes the pace of life here, or rather the lack of it. If you feel like it, you can go SUP. You will find the boards on site. Warmed up by the sun, dreamy, rested, then come to the terrace and enjoy this pleasure: a colorful, aromatic dinner served on a checkered tablecloth. It tastes best in the rays of the setting sun.

Domek Polny is an 80-year-old cottage that we have carefully renovated and arranged comfortably. It stands on a plot directly adjacent to the Liwiec River. In addition to a large, lush garden, we have an intimate, private beach and access to the shoreline.

During the holiday season, we rent a house for a minimum of 3 days

House has:
– a living room with a fireplace connected to the kitchen – on the ground floor,
– 1 bedroom with a double bed (there is the possibility of an extra bed for a child) on the ground floor,
- 1 bedroom with 2 double and 2 single beds upstairs (the entire attic is a bedroom),
– a bathroom with a shower,
– terrace with garden furniture and a swing.

We welcome small dogs. The plot is fenced, but a drainage ditch runs through it, so if your burkas tend to run away, they may try to sneak out that way.

Everything you prepare here will taste the most delicious on the terrace or at the garden table. We know this from our own experience.

It's best if you do more shopping on the way to us, because there is only a village shop in the area. You can, for example, stay in Wyszków in Lidl or Biedronka.

This is our riverside sanctuary of boredom. It is most pleasant to grow it in the sun, but also in the cold months it is extremely pleasant here - you can warm yourself by the fireplace, and watch the sleeping nature through the windows of the terrace.

For this summer we offer you:
– spending time in the garden: on a hammock, deckchair, by the stream,
– dinners on the terrace like in an Italian movie,
– lounging on a private beach on Liwiec,
– swimming on SUP (boards will be waiting for you in the cottage) or on kayaks (for rent in the village),
– reading books on a swing – with a cup of coffee or a glass of good wine,
– evening barbecues and bonfires,
in a word: complete relaxation in a home that was created just for him.

5 minutes from here there is a forest where you can go for a walk.

– 7 km from here, behind Liwiec, there is a villa complex “Julin”, where the seat of the Nadbużański Landscape Park is located. The building, called the Paderewski Palace, dates from 1904. As a curiosity, it is worth stopping at it, and then moving further north-east, discovering the picturesque lands on the Bug River. The Bug Landscape Park is one of the largest in Poland. A few hiking trails that you can take a trip are, for example:
· Kamieńczyk - Jegiel reserve - Czaplowizna reserve - Krupińskie - Sadowne Węgrowskie PKP - Stare Lipki - Moczydło reserve - Starawieś - Węgrów,
· Kamieńczyk - Jerzyska - Łochów Railway Station,
· Łochów PKP - Gwizdały - Łochów Wieś - Wólka Paplińska - Paplin - Turna - Liw.
In addition to park nature reserves, the castle in Liw, the palace in Starejwieś and Węgrów with its multicultural atmosphere are waiting to be discovered: Poles, Jews, Scots and Ruthenians used to live here side by side.

– Kamieńczyk is 9 km from here. It is a supervillage, because it has its own colorful history - and the best way to tell you about it is Mr. Henryk from the local private Ethnographic and Historical Museum, who, out of passion for this place, gathered a large exhibition there. Kamieńczyk used to be a royal town and until the 17th century it was called Kamieniec Mazowiecki. In the 19th and 20th centuries, it became a rafting settlement. Today you will see old wooden houses there, eat good cakes in the inn and spend a very nice afternoon. You can also take a ferry from Kamieńczyk to the other side of the Bug River.

- In Szumin, 13 km from here, there is the famous house of Zofia and Oskar Hansen, which is a manifesto of the Open Form that guided Oskar Hansen in his work. Today it is a branch of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. To visit the Hansen summer resort, you need to make an appointment in advance via the application form, which you can find on the Internet.

The biggest attraction is the beach and the river - shallow and lazy, so safe. Perfect for wading, splashing or first attempts at SUP. Domek Polny is a place where all the kids spend carefree holidays, with flushed cheeks and flowing hair. Our playground is small, but it's not what makes children's eyes shine. In the huge garden, you can come up with all sorts of games, hide in such a way that you win hide and seek, pick wildflowers and weave wreaths. On the terrace swing, everyone feels like a sultan in a litter, and we have often seen children standing still there.

There are several horse riding stables near us, e.g. Stajnia Kaliska, so you can send your kids to horse riding lessons.

We have very good internet, so working with us is a great idea, as long as you don't need a separate room to work. We don't have office infrastructure for you, but if you don't mind working at the kitchen table, on the couch or on the terrace full of sun and soft pillows, then we are.
