It was worth traveling 500 km for this cuisine - we once heard from guests. It is hard to find a more beautiful compliment, since for us the Earth is shaped like a cheese sandwich and the world revolves around a tandoor oven. In Warmia, we try life slowly - by organizing Indian dance workshops, concerts of Tibetan bowls or yoga classes. We also have Hutsul horse and Arabian horse mowers, which can take you on a trip during a break from taking care of the lawns. In general, we have a lot of animals, as well as patches with organic vegetables, from which we prepare breakfast spreads.
There are 5 rooms in our agritourism, which can accommodate 16 people in total. Instead of luxurious comforts, we offer mango cheesecake, and this sounds like a good substitute. We invite families, couples, friends and small workshop groups to visit us. We believe that you will be fine with us.
India in Warmia? Yes, it's here.
We have four rooms for you. Three of them have bathrooms in the corridor, room No. 1 - its own private bathroom. We invite you to use the common areas: living room, terrace and garden.
- room no. 1 - a spacious room with a terrace, its own bathroom, a double bed and two single beds
- room no. 2 - a room with one double bed and two single beds; the bathroom is next to the room
- room no. 3 - a room with four single beds and a bathroom next to the room
- room no. 4 - a room with a double bed and a single bed; the bathroom is next to the room
- room no. 5 - a room with a single bed; the bathroom is next to the room
Food is for volunteers, but... how many occasions have you had in your life to try delicious Indian cuisine under the Warmian sky?
We feed vegetarian and vegan, most often choosing flavors from India. For several years I worked in an Indian restaurant in London, I go to culinary workshops, I cook for guests, for groups, for myself. The menu is extensive and tailored to your wishes. We bake our own breads, we make pastes and pâtés. Here you will try, for example: curry, kofta, dhal pod soup, samosa appetizers, pakora alupatra, sweets (halava, malpuri, sandeszu, rasaguli and many, many others). We take vegetables, fruits and fresh milk from our own garden.
When it comes to attractions, we have quite a handful of them here, although all in a slow-rustic style. Throughout the year you can use forest paths, bicycle routes, a library and board games, as well as horse riding in our stud farm. We have a great yoga room where we can organize classes for you on request. I practice Bhakti yoga, I am a Hatha yoga instructor, and meditation and inner development is something I do most of my life. I'd be happy to bring these topics closer to you, if you have the space for it :)
In your vacation plans, you can (but do not have to) include:
- swimming or kayaking on the surrounding lakes (the nearest lake is Blanki),
- a walk by the charming and rarely visited lake Gilgajny (you can meet there, among others, beavers and otters),
- visiting Nowy Kawkowo (40 km from us), which is the most artistic village in Warmia, with a gallery in a cafe, ceramics workshops and a lavender museum,
- a walk around Olsztyn with the castle, old town and planetarium,
- in winter cross-country skiing,
- walking along the didactic path "in the footsteps of forest spirits",
- visiting the Vita Warmia gallery,
-... and visiting all sorts of monuments, which we drop below :)
What’s there for children?
Everything that a real village has to offer!
