The group of blue houses located on Lake Janowskie has been joined by a hut standing on a chicken leg. This is how our childhood dream of a tree house came true. When it turned out that it could not be hung even on the strongest representatives of our birch grove, we came up with a new idea. To a cottage from a slightly different fairy tale, which was raised into the trees by a pillar resembling a chicken leg. She stood in the company of birches that are part of our green oasis. You can reach it from Brodnica by taking the route to Olsztyn. A kilometer after Wielki Głęboczek, turn towards Brzozie, and then let yourself be carried away by the winding road to Janówek. After reaching the place, steep stairs will lead you to minimalist, two-story and open interiors, where, in addition to 3 double beds, you will also find a sauna and some soothing views: the treetops, the surrounding fields and the lake 70 meters away, which is the center of all events.
You can get used to relaxation and rest here without haste or without unnecessary delay: jumping on a bomb from the pier, kayaking or SUP trips on the lake and playing comet. Slow life goes on while sitting with coffee on deckchairs, sessions in the sauna with a view of the treetops and hammocks to the sounds of birds chirping on the terrace.
We have one rule: rest as you like. Just be warned that even Swiss watches lose track of time here.
We dreamed of a treehouse, but it wasn't possible to build one on the birch trees that grow on our property. So we came up with a "chicken's foot" house with a view of the treetops. It measures 45 square meters and spreads over two floors. The space is open and feels much larger than its actual size:
- on the lower level, there's a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with a shower, and a dry sauna,
- on the upper level, there's an open-plan space with two double beds, a bench, a kitchenette, and a dining area with a table and a balcony overlooking the lake.
Sleeping arrangements:
* 1 bedroom (1.60m bed) for 2 people,
* 2 beds (1.40x2.00m) for 4 people
You will also have access to:
– a 45-square-meter terrace with a soothing view of the fields and forest and hammocks,
– loungers for spreading out on the balcony,
– bathroom with shower,
– double kayak and SUP board.

The house is situated in the middle of a forest, on the shores of Lake Janowskie. It is 70 meters from the shore.
Our plot covers 1.3 hectares and has 150 meters of shoreline. The birdhouse is located next to our other houses: Family Lodge and Lunette Lodge. If you'd like to visit us in a group, they can accommodate 29 people when rented together. Each house has its own parking lot.
Pets are welcome. Your four-legged friends will be able to freely enjoy the charms of our property and its surroundings. Please note that our property is located in a forest by the lake and is not fenced, so you may not be alone there. A chance of encountering deer is possible.
Air conditioning is available on the second floor.
We offer you a kitchenette equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal. We add beautiful tableware to make eating more pleasant and an amazing view of the fields and forest that will accompany you during meals.
However, we assume that you may be more willing to sit on the terrace than to train your master chef skills, so you will be able to order dinners that our hostess will prepare for you. You must notify us of your request the day before. The menu includes e.g. stuffed cabbage (meat or veggie), pork chops, pancakes, veggie meatballs and several types of soups. We can also prepare a camping dinner for you in the open air and serve food from a cauldron (bigos or pea soup). We will share a link to the full offer in messages. You can also order food with delivery from the Shari Sushi restaurant from Brodnica.
We would like you to have the opportunity to taste local delicacies, fresh fish straight from the lake and cider, which tastes best when drunk on the terrace. You will be able to buy all these products in our nearest area, we will share the details.
We recommend a trip (you can by bike) to the Głęboczek Vine Resort SPA hotel, where you will most likely melt over exquisite dishes and Polish, Italian and Spanish wines from the Płochocki family vineyard.
Janowskie Lake is the center of relaxation and social life, and the most successful form of spending time is combining a daily dose of boredom with a portion of active rest. How about mornings with coffee drunk on the pier, which is 70 meters away, evenings by the fire on the shore, trips to the other side of the lake, new challenges such as testing your strength on a SUP board? All this is at our fingertips.
Your everyday life may also include:
– sessions in the sauna with a view of the treetops,
– sailing to the lake on a SUP board or a kayak – all equipment is waiting for you on the spot,
- comet games
– swimming in the air hole in winter.
In addition, we can organize for you:
– admiring the Brodnickie Lake District from above, during a light aircraft flight with pilot Wojtek,
– massage with Mateusz, a specialist in Balinese and Ayurvedic massages, which can take place even on the pier,
– Pilates.
What else?
– Only 10 minutes from Janówek, in Głęboczek, there is a stud farm. If you feel like feeling the wind in your hair galloping through the forests of Brodnica, this will be the right address.
– In the village of Brzozie you can play tennis on the public tennis court “Orlik”.
– In winter, you can go skiing at the Kurza Góra Ski Center in Kurzętnik near Nowe Miasto Lubawskie.
We will tell you where to rent bikes so that you can explore the area from the perspective of two wheels.
When the weather plays tricks, it's nice to hide inside. Although it is falling from the sky, swimming in the lake is also a unique experience. And after the rain, be sure to check if there are any mushrooms in the surrounding forests. If you feel like swimming in the pool, the nearby hotels: Głęboczek and Kalchem offer such a possibility.
Children experience carefree moments with us and have the opportunity to check off many items from their dream lists (even if these dreams were created quite spontaneously, under the influence of all the attractions we have to offer them here).

– tubing on Kurzeja Góra (there are seven tracks with a total length of over 700 meters), in winter you can go skiing there,
– for those interested, we can organize a plane flight.
Attention! The stairs in the house are steep, so we decided to invite families with children over 6 years of age to this house.
