Forgive me for sounding like Coehlo, but sometimes we look for something far away, and then it turns out that we had it under our noses all the time. So it was with us. We really wanted to have a plot in the mountains - necessarily with a view of the Tatra Mountains. We've been looking for her for 2 years. Somehow we ignored Ania's mother's requests to see this overgrown land in her hometown. The Beskids seemed much less impressive to us. But we were wrong! Can you see this view that stretches from the windows of our houses? We wouldn't trade it for anything today. We would also pay extra in wild strawberries, which we carry out in jars from our forest in the summer.

This is what you will have here under your nose: flowery meadows below and the occasional company of roe deer, hares and pheasants. Sauna with aromatic oils, from which there is a mountain panorama. We do not wish you bad weather, but if you have never enjoyed the warmth of a sauna with a gale outside, you have missed a serious life experience. A throw at the trail to Koskowa Góra, from which in good weather you will see Gorce, Babia and Kraków. And even the Inn of Rome in Sucha Beskidzka, where they ate, drank and smoked lulka in Mickiewicz's ballad. If being in nature with views of interesting trips around southern Lesser Poland is your definition of chill, we invite you. Take the kids and come over. We are waiting for you on the last plot in Żarnówka.

Czill Chaty are two houses standing on a 50-are plot right next to the forest in Żarnówka, Lesser Poland. In a peaceful and secluded environment you will rest very close to nature. So close that sometimes a hare, pheasant or deer will look at you through the fence.

Chill-Chat:
- the larger of the houses,
– for 6 people: 2 lockable bedrooms upstairs and additional sleeping on the sofa downstairs.
The bedrooms in the attic are soundproofed so that children can sleep while discussions are taking place by the fireplace. In this chalet we can put a baby cot in one of the bedrooms.

Chill-locum:
– the smaller of the houses,
– also for 6 people: 1 closed bedroom downstairs, 1 non-locked bedroom on the mezzanine (2 single modular beds, they can be joined), additional sleeping on the sofa downstairs.
It is not possible to add a baby cot in this chalet.

At the height of the buildings there is the Chill spa zone, i.e. a sauna with a terrace and deckchairs. Surrounded by trees, however, it is far enough from the houses that it provides discretion and allows you to forget yourself surrounded by trees.

If you dream about breakfast magically appearing on your tables, we can arrange it. A friendly catering company will provide you with a breakfast consisting of bread, homemade bread spread, salad or other side dish, a platter of cold meats and cheeses, a platter of vegetables, butter and jam or honey, homemade Greek yogurt, granola/fruit flakes and dessert. The minimum order is 2 lunchboxes. We whisper in your ear that breakfast is also enough for dinner.

We welcome mountaineers who enjoy being active, but also those who simply dream of relaxing surrounded by trees, in a cozy cottage with beautiful views. We're perfect for a family vacation or a mountain getaway with friends.

On-site:
– bask in the sauna with mountain panoramas outside your window,
– laze on loungers amidst the greenery,
– have a bonfire or barbecue in the evening,
– in winter, relax by the fireplace and read a book,
– in autumn, go mushroom picking.

ACTIVE IN THE MOUNTAINS
1. Trail to Koskowa Góra – the route from CzillChata is approximately 12 km (4 hours) round trip. From the cottage, follow a forest path uphill until you reach the yellow trail leading along the peaks. From the trail and from Koskowa Góra, in good weather conditions, you can see the Tatra Mountains, the Babia Góra range, the Gorce Mountains, and Kraków. For a long section, the trail winds through forests and clearings. After a relatively steep climb, the route is rather gentle. Highly recommended!

2. Babia Góra National Park – (access: 35 min.) We highly recommend the beautiful Babia Góra trails – a map of the trails and the park is available for viewing at the lodge. Families with small children will appreciate the trail from Krowiarki Pass to the mountain hut on Markowe Szczawiny – a wide, gently sloping trail, comfortable for little legs, and easy to pull a sled in both directions in winter. Length: approximately 3.5 hours (12 km round trip). A sled will be waiting for you at the lodge.

3. Other hiking trails in the area – there are plenty of charming Beskid trails with picturesque views nearby. You can easily choose a route that suits your fitness level and preferences. We provide a set of maps at the lodge to help you plan your mountain hikes. We can also suggest a few of our own ideas for Beskid hikes:

· Trail to Hala Krupowa from Sidzina. There's a mountain hut on Hala Krupowa, and many trails run around it, so you can even make a loop.
· In the spring, you can spot crocuses near Jałowiec; you can make a loop with two mountain huts along the route.
· Loop from Harbutowice through Babica Zachodnia and Krowia Góra – this is a short, easy trail with picturesque views of the Tatra Mountains, especially along the Harbutowice Końcówka–Banica Zachodnia section.
· Cyl Hali Śmietanowej + Syhelec, a scenic route from Zawoja.
· Trail from the summit of Mosorny Groń (can be accessed by cable car) to the mountain hut on Hala Krupowa via Polica.
· Trail from Przełęcz Przysłop to Jałowiec – the W Murowanej Piwnicy mountain hut is on the trail. In Przysłop, you can also drive up to the beautifully situated Beskidzki Raj hotel complex. Enjoy a meal there on the panoramic terrace. The resort also features a bowling alley, a mini zoo, a 25-meter observation tower, and a spa.

4. Babia Góra Trails Cycling Complex – 14.5 km of uphill and downhill trails of varying difficulty, allowing for recreational cycling in the Mosorny Groń Massif.

6. Makowska Góra Stud Farm – (16 minutes from CzillChata) horse riding lessons, off-road riding, and pony rides for children.

CULTURAL:
1. The Beskid Wooden Architecture Trail, which includes:
· Church of St. Peter and St. Paul in Lachowice (40-minute drive),
· Karczma Rzym in Sucha Beskidzka (15-minute drive) – a wooden building from the late 18th century. Did you know that this is where the story told in Mickiewicz's ballad "Pani Twardowska" took place? It was in this inn, which has stood in the same location since the second half of the 18th century and still serves the same purpose. The inn's interior, with its regional décor, evokes the traditions of the highlanders of Żywiec and Babia Góra.
· Parish Church of St. Clement the Pope and Martyr in Zawoja, built in 1888 (25-minute drive). · The J. Żak PTTK Open-Air Museum in Zawoja Markowa on Markowa Rola – a charming, small open-air museum, reachable in 30 minutes.
· Orawa Ethnographic Park – (40-minute drive) within the open-air museum, you can see characteristic cottages with a raised roof where highlanders lived, as well as places where they worked: a sawmill, an oil mill, a forge, and a fulling mill – a cloth processing plant.
2. Open-Air Museum in Sidzina – the Folk Culture Museum in Sidzina – also known as the Little Wawel (30-minute drive).
3. The Renaissance castle in Sucha Beskidzka.

What about in winter?
1. Cable car/ski lift to Mosorny Groń (1047 m above sea level) – (25-minute drive), PKL lift. The ski slope is 1,420 meters long. There are taverns at both the lower and upper stations for those who get hungry.

2. Wojtek Ski Lift – (25-minute drive) two T-bar lifts with slopes of 150 meters and 410 meters, ideal for beginners. A ski school and equipment rental are available. A large playground for children is located at the foot of the slope.

With kids you can:
– go for mushrooms in autumn, and pick wild strawberries near the forest in summer – our children love it!
– spend a day at Lake Mucharskie: rent a bike or go kayaking,
– take a ride to the Railway Rolling Stock Museum in Chabowka,
– visit the alpacas at the Happy Alpaca Alpacarium – and even take an alpaca for a walk!,
– go to Apilandia – the Interactive Beekeeping Center in Klecza Dolna: it is said to be the only place in Poland where the subject of bees and the secrets of their lives are presented in such a professional way,
– go crazy in Wypasiona Dolina – a rope park right next to the border of the Babiogórski National Park, where there are also various unusual outdoor attractions for children and adults (e.g. cycling on a zip-line); the park is open only in the summer season,
– climb in the rope park in Zawoja.


For children, in addition to the playground, we have a trampoline.

We have LTE internet here, which allows remote work, but you know how it is with the internet in the mountains. It does not always work 100% - when the weather is bad, it may work a little slower or break off. In CzillChat, in one of the bedrooms there is a desk with a monitor that you can connect to. There is no desk in Czill-Lokum, you would have to work on the couch. We have a laptop stand for you to make it more comfortable.
