We are a family for which even Przemyśl was too crowded. So 25 years ago we dropped everything and moved to Zalesie. Nine kilometers was enough to find yourself in the world of gravel roads, snowdrifts to the top of the car and wild spaces for galloping. We started timidly, with two horses, of which we now have a dozen or so. In addition to horse riding with Magda, we also offer our guests hiking in the Przemyśl Foothills - wilder than the Bieszczady Mountains, warming up in the sauna and visiting forgotten forts. You can leave your travel guides at home - Jurek is their talking version.
Sometimes we will greet you sitting in the saddle, tipping the cowboy hat. We will lead you to four rooms that can accommodate up to 10 guests in total. Remember that the furniture is mostly Piotr's work, and the bathrooms - only shared. However, it is a pity to waste time standing in line for the morning shower, it is better to jump on a terrace swing or spread homemade jam on a pancake. And we warn you loyally, Anita's preserves are so good that it's better not to try them during a diet.
We want everyone who visits us to feel at home and to love this place as much as we have loved it for 25 years. Come in pairs, with children, dogs, cats, horses. You are all welcome!
Our agritourism is located by a side road in the picturesque regions of the Przemyskie Foothills. We have over 3 hectares of fenced area, which guarantees your privacy.
In the house we provide 4 rooms for 10 guests, decorated in one style. All rooms are located on the mezzanine floor. We focus on naturalness and warmth, which is why in our rooms you will not find modern technologies or luxuries offered by 5-star hotels. Each is unique - all furniture has a second life and has been restored by hand.
We have two shared bathrooms with a shower. Sometimes it can be crowded, such are the charms of living in the countryside. But there's no point in wasting time queuing for your morning shower. You can come right away for breakfast or take a walk around the neighborhood. On the ground floor there is a spacious common area where we serve meals. It's a great place to spend time together with other guests.
We also have reading rooms with sofas and armchairs, where there are plenty of plants around. There you will find all kinds of games, crayons for children and books. But upstairs we have a rest room where you can turn on the TV and take a short siesta. In front of the house is a large terrace with sun loungers, tables and a large swing. And then a meadow, a place for a bonfire under the stars, a sauna and a pond where you can read or practice yoga.
We are not afraid of challenges, and our cuisine is a mix of flavors and smells that conquer the palate! We like to experiment with local products to create unique dishes that delight the taste buds. There's no need to cheat - we cook what nature has given us, but then we do as much as we can! We serve regional dishes, but in an original version, because what fun would it be if we stuck to traditional recipes?
We like hosting and serving, because we know that food brings people together and it is at the common table that bonds are formed. In our kitchen you will find homemade cold cuts, pates baked by us, and sometimes even cheese - well, let it be exquisite!
Breakfast is included in the price and even if you get up at 6 am, it won't be a problem to prepare something delicious.
For vegetarians we offer e.g. scrambled eggs, pancakes and pancakes, and for those who like meat, there are also smoked hams and sausages. When it comes to preserves, we make them ourselves. They taste best on sourdough bread made of organic flour, which we bake every day.
For dinners we serve soup, main course, and sometimes dessert. Meal times are more or less fixed, but you can always call us and say you want to eat earlier or later. We will always find time. Even if you are vegan, it's not a problem for us - we have many delicious vegetarian options.
There is always something to do on our ranch, surrounded by larch trees. This is a place not only for horse lovers, but also for people who want to take a break from the everyday hustle and bustle. You can come to us to improve your riding skills, but if you are just starting your adventure with horses, we will also find the right steed for you to learn.
If you just want to come and enjoy the fresh air, we also invite you with open arms. Jurek will be happy to share with you stories about the Przemyskie Foothills over morning coffee or home-made sloe liqueur, and Anita will prepare apple pancakes from the organic garden.
The weekend is not enough time to be able to stroke every pet. Ba! This is quite a challenge, because we have a large farm here with rabbits, chickens, dogs and cats. If you feel like it, come with us on the morning round, where you will meet the animal household before breakfast.
On the terrace you can listen to frogs croaking and stretch on a blanket in the meadow. And when you get bored of lazing around, you can warm up in a wooden sauna or go off-road with Magda, who was the Polish champion in western riding. Who knows, maybe you'll get lucky and learn the secret of how to become a horse whisperer.
The Przemyśl Foothills is a place where crowds of tourists have yet to settle in. The Green Velo trail running next to the house is a treat for lovers of two wheels. It is true that when you return home after such a trip, you can have quite sore muscles, but this is a trifle compared to the views you can enjoy while driving.
You can follow the trail and climb Kopystna, where you will see a breathtaking panorama. And after returning from the trip, relax in the surrounding meadows, pastures and forests - it is a real oasis of peace and space. If you are long-distance walkers, there are several more trails: the Arłamów Trail, the Red Przemyśl-Sanocki Trail and the Rybotycki Trail.
And if you want to explore something more, the charming city of Przemyśl and the Renaissance Krasiczyn Castle await you nearby. It is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful Renaissance pearls in Poland. The building was built in the 16th century and impresses with its beauty to this day. For history lovers, we recommend a trip to Fort VII, but beware - it takes about an hour to walk, so it's better to get on a bike. It is also known as Fort Krasicki and was one of the largest and most important forts in the Przemyśl fortification system. It is the most "wild" of all fortifications of the Przemyśl Fortress.
In winter, you will find ski lifts in Arłamów and Przemyśl (only 15 km from the agritourism) nearby.
And most importantly - if you dream of feeling like you drove straight into a western movie set, our stable offers a great opportunity to experience a western-style horseback riding adventure. You can feel like real cowboys and go on a trip to the surrounding mountains, forests and meadows, admiring the picturesque landscapes of the Przemyskie Foothills. Our instructors, who are also passionate about this form of riding, will be happy to help you master skills such as leading a horse with one hand or controlling an animal while galloping.
All this, of course, in the picturesque landscapes of the Przemyskie Foothills, where among the beautiful nature you will be able to feel like a real cowboy or cowgirl!
What’s there for children?
Children will be able to feel at ease and will not have to sit at the table with folded hands. We, experienced grandparents, already know how it is with these little toddlers. We give them a lot of warmth and patience, and Anita is often called Grandma by the guests' children :)
Forget about WiFi and TV with cartoons, it's much better with us! There is a whole queue of willing animals to stroke and feed. For fans of pedigree pigeons and hens, you can look for lost eggs in the henhouse and bring them for breakfast. Fruit straight from the trees, homemade compote and pancakes with apples for kids are also our specialty.
As for toys and entertainment, we have everything kids need. Playground, slide, sandpit, hammocks, trampoline, bicycles, scooters and 2 hectares of meadows to romp around! And at home, boxes of toys and dozens of books. Kids can turn into little adventurers, catch frogs and newts in the pond. We have a pond full of amphibians that you can observe up close. Of course, remember that the safety of your little ones is the most important thing for us, so please pay attention and be careful.
Children will feel at home at Grandma's, and you will finally be able to make yourself a coffee and rest for a moment!
What’s there for employees?
There are no TV sets in the rooms, but we have very good Internet (fiber optic) - if you need to work from the privacy of the ranch, you will not have technical problems with us. However, we do not have special desks for work - so work will have to be done from a couch, armchair or terrace.
